Heather began to wonder if she should try to track Jack down. Something attacked him and he still believes that the thing may still be after him. Making up her decision, Heather found a stick and went in the direction Jack had gone.

Claire stood up from the large rock on the shore and looked down to Leslie, who was soundly asleep in her arms. She smiled and began to sing softly a lullaby to the young child as she made her way back to th beach. Claire had stayed away from the others for a while. She knew what was happening, but she didn't even bother to try and help like she would usualy do. Sure, she wanted to help, but how exactly? It was too late to jump in the problems now anyways.

Jack slowly began to catch his breath, he looked around and listened for any movement.

Sun wrapped her arms around herself, staying on the beach when Jack ran off, leaving her there. She watched the strange little creature chase after him, throwing sticks. Sun sighed and walked slowly down the path to her garden.

As Claire walked, she saw Sun walk towards the path of the jungle. She quickly rushed over to her and smiled lightly. "Hey" she said, making sure that it wasn't loud enough to wake up Leslie.

When Boone said nothing, Shannon raised her head to look up at him. "I'm not lying..." She pleaded. " I'm not crazy either...Boone there were people here...I heard voices..."

Boone nodded, becoming concerned. It wasn't like Shannon to lie about something this... odd. And for all he knew, there were other people on the island who could be taunting her. "I believe you," he assured her, hoping that he wasn't encouraging madness.

"Oh thank god." She collapsed against his chest and then, sniffling she muttered. "Walk with me to the beach...I don't want to go alone."

Claire sighed and stopped walking when she realised that Sun couldn't hear her. She ran her free hand through her blond, tangled hair and walked back onto the beach. There was probably Somebody on the beach who had nothing to do..just like her. She sighed lightly and sat down on the cool sand.

"You didn't hear them...but thanks." She smiled softly and without thinking, slipped her hand into his as they had done when they were children, before all the fighting.

Claire looked down to the sleeping Leslie in her arms. She smiled and kissed her forehead gently as the baby girl woke up. "Hey there my little angel" she cooed lightly. She switched Leslie to her other arm and tickled her stomach lightly.
Leslie giggled and squirmed around.

With no sign of the thing that attacked him, Jack slowly made his way to the caves. He sat on the floor of the cave and twinged as he covered his face with an old shirt.

Sun slowly made her way to the caves after a while, deciding that it was safe again. She stopped just outside the caves, listening for the pesky, insistent snickering sound of the creature that harrassed Jack earlier. Hearning nothing of the sort, Sun walked inside and found Jack laying there with a shirt over his face. She smiled and rolled her eyes, kneeling next to him and putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Jack?" She asked. "Is everything okay?"
