Fails at Being Sneaky

Rayne Winner
With all that had happened the last thing on his mind had been his desire to reopen the clinic at Miss Aylee's mansion. His thoughts had been scattered in so many different directions it was in fact one of the last things on his mind until today. He'd only come to pick up some books, he didn't have time at the moment to actually stay as much as a part of him really wanted too. It was strange how events could pull you so far away from the one thing you really wanted to do. His dream had been to work here, to become a doctor... and instead at the moment he was selling flowers and herbs for a living.

He looked around, back and forth before he slipped inside and up the stairs to where the doors to the clinic lay. He once more looked back and forth as if he were trying very hard to be sneaky, something he wasn't all that good at given he'd never had to sneak around before. Mostly he didn't want anyone to notice him coming in and taking books that were the property of the place. At the same time he didn't want to slack off on his reading, no reason why he couldn't borrow them now and bring them back later right? He would even leave a note so then people would know where the missing books were. It wasn't stealing if you meant to return what you took. It was just borrowing without exactly asking.

He set his messenger back down, it gave its normal clinking sound which spoke of the potion bottles contained within. Fewer then normal actually, one or two of the healing variety 'just in case'. He didn't like the idea of being without them. He opened up the bag and set to putting the needed books inside. Anatomy first, one on treating various types of wounds, and another that just showed the symptoms of common viruses and treatments for them. Three books should be good enough, right? Then he could bring them back later and take others later on.

He wrote out a note giving the titles of the three books and authors then his name and his new address of where he could be found. The note was tacked onto the board before he left the room bag in tow. Now to sneak back out unseen!

Ancelin_Kuronaho
"Haven't I met you, before?" came a female voice from the back corner as Yukito attempted to leave the library. If he looked where the voice came from, he would of seen Ancelin decked head to toe in casts and bandages, sitting in a chair with her feet propped up on an automin. She was currently reading a book on exotic fish, but she had several more packed up on the coffee table beside her along with a glass and piture of lemonade.

"I know I recognize your face." She commented again, before she attempted to scratch under the cast around her chest with a pencil.

Rayne Winner
Yukito gave a squeak of surprise, his heart almost jumping out of his chest in surprise before he turned and looked in the direction of the voice, "Ahh... maybe?" He said, she did look awfully familiar to him but he couldn't quite place her at the moment. He then took in her injuries and his eyes went rather wide before he hurried over towards her, "Oh... my. What happened?" He asked, so many bandages and casts! It must have been some sort of serious accident for her to wind up in such an awful state!

His long, dragons tail was lashing behind him as he looked her over when he got closer. All but wrapped from head to toe it would seem, "Were you in an accident?" He asked, the concern for her showing in his voice. He didn't know her exactly but it was quite obvious that it didn't matter that to him if they were strangers or if they were best friends in this moment. What mattered instead was his worry over an injured person.

Ancelin_Kuronaho
Ancelin turned the page of her book and inserted a fish speckled book mark, before she set it on the table beside her and did her best to fold her fingers in her lap. Which was difficult because one arm was wrapped completely in cast past her elbow, and the other had a few fingers in splints.
"Got hit by a car at 40 miles an hour." she replied. "You shoulda seen me before they amputated my wings and pinned my ribs back together. This is nothing."

Other then the said cast on her arms, she had one cast wrapped around her chest and back up to her armpits, a cast running down her entire left leg, and a walking cast down her mid-calf down to her foot on the left, along with a knee brace. Where there werent casts, she was speckled in bandages and gause from the puncture wounds.
"It itches like the devil."

Rayne Winner
His eyes got wider at what she said, 'amputated her wings and pinned her ribs?' while he'd read about such things he'd never actually seen someone that had been through that sort of tramua before with his own eyes, "I'm so sorry." He murmured, it must be hard for her, to have lost parts of herself to her accident. She seemed to be taking it well, she must be quite strong as she sounded like she were more concerned over the itching then the loss of her wings.

"I see, I wish that I could help but the potions I brew are only good for things like smaller wounds or colds." He'd never dealt with anything on this level before, "If you need anything though I would be happy to get if for you."

Ancelin_Kuronaho
Ancelin continued to scratch under her cast with the pencil. In fact, aside from a skirt to hide her girl parts, An wasn't wearing much clothing. She didn't need too. Not with the mummy suit of bandages on her.
"Well, if you could it'd be a real great help if you could hand me that ruler over there so I could get to this blasted itch on my chest." She said, before pointing towards a table behind Yukito with her only good hand.

"The worst part of all of it, besides the itching, the inability to walk, loss of limbs; and extreme pain from the bones and skin healing back together is that I can't go anywhere without seeing dirt and grime, but I'm unable to clean it!" She whined. Oh yeah, An. Forget the fact that you've just lost half your body weight, ridding the household of all dust bunnies was way more important.

Rayne Winner
Yukito gave a nod before he moved off to do as requested of him, fetching a ruler for the girl. He scooped it up then was once more returning to her side, "Here you go." He said, holding it out, "Careful though not to itch to hard, you wouldn't want to tear over a wound under your cast or bandages as it would be hard to take care of." She may need to have something rebandaged in fact if she did so.

"Unable to clean?" He repeated the words as if surprised at them, his eyes widened a bit, "Wait! Your Ancelin aren't you?" He asked of her, mentioning the cleaning thing made it click in her mind, he'd talked with her about her love of cleaning a while back in fact. He never knew though that she had grown, then again he was a bit out of the loop with a lot of stuff.

Ancelin_Kuronaho
Ancelin took the ruler greatfully and shoved it down the cast that started mid-shin, before she let out a joyful moan as she was finally able to reach one of her long aquanted foes, itchiness.

At the question though she looked up and nodded her head with one eyebrow raised, as if that was an obvious question.
"Ummm.. Yeah. I'm Ancelin." she said, before her eyebrows relaxed and she leened back in her chair. She knew where all her stiches where, so she knew where and where not would be the wisest locations to scratch. Basically stay the hell away from her back.
"Startin to remember me, eh?"

Rayne Winner
He flushed a bit and then nodded, "I appoligize for not recognizing you earlier." He said, "You look a lot different then the last time I saw you." A lot of changes both from her accident and from her growth had thrown him off. Though looking at her he should have recognized the eyes and hair color.

His tail gave a flick back and forth, "It was the cleaning comment that made my brain finally click into gear." He admitted.

Ancelin_Kuronaho
Ancelin smiled and shook her head as she moved the ruler from cast to cast, scratching various itches.
"It's no problem. I don't think we've seen eachother since I was a little kid." She said, it had just donned when he said something about potions that he was the boy who worked in the hospital back when she got dreadfully ill.

"In fact, I think I was just a toddler. I can't expect you to recognize me when I'm practically an adult now and I'm missing two major limbs from my body.. And looking like a mummy in this halloween costume of mine." She joked. For someone who was so banged up, Ancelin sure was cheerful.. Maybe it was the painkillers.

Rayne Winner
He gave a nod, that was true though none the less he felt as if he should have remembered. He supposed that his memory was just lagging on him was all. It just needed him getting out and about more for it to be a little quicker on the pick up, "Well it is nice to see you again despite the circumstances being as they are." He would have rather met up with her when she was feeling better... well not so much better as she did seem to be in a surprisingly good mood. She must being making the best of a bad situation?

Ancelin_Kuronaho
Ancelin looked from side to side with half open eyes. She then reached out with her casted arm and attempted to lift her piture of lemonade. Apparently her mouth was dry, which was apparent by the light smacking of her lips she was making. She grunted and groaned as she attempted to lift the piture. At that angle and with her cast it was difficult to move, let alone lift a heavy object like a gallon of juice with ice in it.

As Ancelin went to pour the lemonade into the glass, she accidentally put too much pressure and the glass let out a loud 'clink' as it fell on it's side and rolled to the floor. She let out a sigh and set the piture of juice back down, before she looked up to Yukito and smiled.
"It seems my condition has forced me to be rather clumsy." she said.

Rayne Winner
"Its to be expected given all you have gone through. You will recover with time and be back to do the things you love soon enough." He said, moving over to pick up the glass. He looked it over to make sure that it wasn't broken or cracked. When he was happy with the inspection he moved over to fill it with the juice the girl had been trying to get. He'd not wanted to interfere, allowing her to try to do it on her own. After all he didn't want to act as if he thought her helpless because she wasn't, she was quite strong to go through what she had and come out of it both alive and seemingly seeing things on the upside.

He then held the glass of lemonade out to Ancelin, "Here you go, take a sip." He as he moved to sit next to her though was careful not to touch her, not wanting to bump anything or do anything that may be painful for her.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
"Thank you." Ancelin said as she took the glass with both hands and began to sip it slowly. She looked over to Yukito, before she smirked.
"Believe it or not. Out of all the injuries I received, I didn't break my nose or any of my teeth!" she grinned. In fact, aside for a bruise on her cheek, her face was completely unharmed. It was just from the collar bone down that looked like a train wreak. She then put on the best model-esque look she could muster, setting a cheek on her hand.

"Now if only I had dreams of becoming a model, then I would of been blessed from my lack of head injuries." you know, besides the cunsussion and all.

Rayne Winner
Yukito looked her over then nodded, "That is pretty amazing, good though as those sorts of injuries would be a pain to get fixed up." More so then the mending of ones body since teeth would need to be replaced. He gave her a smile then clapped for her model pose as one would do for those that were on a catwalk.

"Still planning on saving the world one cleaning job at a time?" He asked when she said 'if only' about the dreams of modeling. It had been what she talked a lot about the last time they had crossed paths. Dreams changed with time and circumstance though he'd learned, there may be other things now more important, "Aside from recovery what have you been doing of late?"

Ancelin_Kuronaho
Ancelin grinned at the question about cleaning.
"Well, at the very least save the mansion one cleaning at a time. It's still one of my major pass-times."

She then thought of how to respond to the second question. What all had she been doing? Well.. Mostly presueing Jani. But how would you phrase that? She and Jani weren't a couple as of yet, at least.. She didn't think they where.
"I've been hanging out with Jani alot ever since she got back home from boarding school. And hanging out with my gaurdian's son Vincent. Going to parts, trying to do teen things." She listed, and then shook her head.

"I always feel so aquard going to parties. Being in the wheel chair and all has given me an excuse to not go to them and just sit at home reading. I've really gotten into Christopher Moore novels as of late. And I'm halfway threw Paradise Lost."

Rayne Winner
Yukito couldn't help but grin, "Its a good hobby, helps to keep people healthy." He said, cleaning got rid of germs that could potentially get people sick so her major pass time was one he could respect.

"I saw her during the Easter Celebration a while back, shes gotten so tall." He said, then tilted his head in thought, "I remember when I first met her and she was all teeny-tiny. Heh, gotta keep from saying things like that makes me sound like an old man, huh?"

"I don't think I have ever been to a party myself, well unless the Easter thing counted." He wasn't sure if it were the same thing since it had been a gathering where children had been present to play as well as older Sin. Surely parties meant all people of one age, "I don't know what I would do at one."

We All Meet Again

Tenshi_Kuronaho
(( We still gotta finish those RPs later. >> ))

Ancelin was sitting outside in her wheel chair, reading a book. It wasn't nessasaraly that she wanted to be outside. Quite the contrary, she was burning up in all those casts out in the warm sun. But unluckily for her the Sin mansion wasn't exsactly wheel chair accessable, and she couldn't get over the set of stairs and into the doorway. So she had contented herself just to sit outside, getting her padding nice and sweaty.

She flipped another page in Paradise Lost and took in a deep sigh, before she reached up and gently rubbed her black eye. The bruise, like the other cuts and scrapes on her body, was starting to heal up. But it was still visable and still very very tender.

Indubitably
[Eheheh. heart ]

Jan had been on her way to Ancelin's house after work when she'd called ahead and found out the other girl wasn't even home. Reportedly, she'd gone to the mansion. Uncomfortable with the idea of the injured Sin'aeis alone without a cellphone or anything, the blonde had promptly changed course.

"Ya'll erritate et if ya keep touchin' et." In her usual, strange way Jan had approached quietly, using words to announce her presence and holding out a water bottle as her brown eyes examined Anny. She was doing better. "Ya look hot out 'ere."

Smile.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin smiled softly and took the water bottle, before she poped it open with her teeth and took a few big gulps.
"It's really hot out here." She said, before she leered at the three steps that where in her way. "But the last time I attempted to drive up these stairs I ended up tipping myself over and laying in the grass for five hours until Vincent came to pick me up.." She shuddered, having horrible vivid memories of grass stains and ants crawling into her cast. She insisted that she be taken to the doctor to have them changed after that.

She smiled at Jani softly and held the bottle back out.
"Think you could help me steady myself while I try and get in the door?" she asked. She couldn't walk with two broken legs, but she was thinking if Jani held onto the back while she went in reverse, she could work her way up the blocks in her way and into the wonderful ACed kitchen.

Indubitably
A single eyebrow was raised and Jan placed the bottle on the grass at their feet [and wheels], and removed Anne, her guitar, to also put it down next to the bottle. Rising, the 6'1" potato-girl leaned over, putting the blue-haired girl's one good[ish] arm around her neck and gently lifting her from the chair.

Ancelin was a lot shorter, and definitely not too heavy for the slightly younger sin'aeis. Not exactly talkative, Jan nudged open the door with a foot and deposited the other girl on the couch in the living room area, rather than the kitchen. Hopefully that would discourage any cleaning cravings that popped up.

Holding up a long, slender finger, Jan disappeared out the door, only to come back with their things and the wheelchair, which she left in the center of the room, joining her... Well, whatever you could call Anny to her, on the couch.

"How're ya doin'?"

If there was going to be any actual dialogue, it was going to have to be Ancelin-initiated.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin's already blue and purple face got a little bit of red added to the mix when Jani had lifted and carried her. Ancelin wasn't a stick now, she weighted 140 on her own and probably 160 with the added casts. So needless to say she was shocked when Jani could lift her. Never the less she enjoyed it.

She adjusted herself with her butt on the couch, before she shifted her legs. The one in the strait cast just sorta hung up in the air, while the one in the half cast laid bent over the edge of the cusion. She then looked to Jani contently, before resting her head on the taller girls shoulder.
"The itching is getting alot better. But last night Tenshi made beef stew so Vincent had to feed me to keep me from getting broth all over myself." she didn't exsactly have the best motor skills with two casts wrapped around each wrist, limiting her range of motion with her hands.

"And I had to have Steve at the pet store come over yesterday to help me take care of my fish. Angel managed to get some of his food cought in the filter, and I couldn't exsactly get up on a stool and reach in to clean it out." she said with a sigh. "You remember Steve, right? The guy who works at the pet store in town." after all, An and Jan used to go to that pet store together sometimes when they where younger.

Indubitably
Jan was nodding at she used her own foot to push a stool under Ancelin's straight cast, but was soon frowning slight, the furrowing of her brow now showing her grumpy mood. The blonde was rather secretly possessive.

Oh, she remembered Steve. He was always a little too helpful with Ancelin's purchases, and now he was coming over? Folding her arms across her chest, Jan made a non-commital noise in response to Ancelin's question before changing the subject grumpily.

"'Aven't had much time 'lone, 'ave we?" No, they hadn't. Someone was always around, hovering over Ancelin's injuries, or Jan's supposed grief. Considering that they'd been... close... before the accident, they hadn't even kissed once since it'd happened. The last time they'd held hands? Jan had grabbed Ancelin's on the hospital bed.

"Kin ah get ya somethin' from the kitchen?"

Tenshi_Kuronaho
(( *starts getting dressed* Gotta leave in 10 minutes. e_e Do you wanna continue this one later too or should I go ahead and log in when I get off work?))

Ancelin shook her head against the taller girls shoulder, her eyes shut.
"Just stay here with me." She said. "You're right. We haven't had much time alone lately." She said dismilly. She didn't like it at all. She was always being rushed back and forth to the doctor, or having to have someone do everything for her. The house hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Dust was vissibly piling up on the living room television. She was having to have someone take care of her pets. And to top it all off she hadn't had any private time with Jani for a while? An was not happy. An was extremely sexually frustrated.

"Tenshi hired me a lawyer. Tomarrow I have to go to a meeting with the guy who hit me's insurance representative. They're trying to keep me from pressing charges or sueing the kid." she said with a frown.

Indubitably
[Well, Andy's coming over tonight, so I won't be here when you get back, I bet. I'll be here tomorrow morning/afternoon though.]

"Well, what ya wanna do 'bout et? Ya wanna sue or not? S'tha simple." Loosening up a bit again, Jan let one of her arms curve around Ancelin, frowning a bit less. "Who's been doin' yer 'air 'n such? Ya shoul' stay over sometime, Ah kin at least braid better'n this." A chuckle and Jan fell back into thoughful silence.

She could be quiet for hours, if Ancelin didn't prompt a response from her. A lot had changed the girl since she'd been a kid.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
An sighed contently as Jani's arm slid around her. It was hard to feel threw all the plaster and padding, but the warmth of her arm against her shoulder was pleasant.
"I want to sue him for all he's worth. I know I'd get more out of the insurance company, but I want the boy who hit me to suffer. If I hadn't of pushed Jamie out of the way of that car she'd be dead right now. And no amount of money that kid has could make up for that." She said with a strong dose of projected anger. That boy was scum in her mind. Where the hell did he get off doing 60 miles an hour in a 25 zone? That was more than double the origonal! Ancelin was going to sue him for all that kid had, and then press charges for attempted murder and assault.

Ancelin took a deep breath and tried to push the negative thoughts out of her head, before she tilted her head upward to look at Jani's face.
"I'd like that. Going over to your place. Are you sure Neme wont mind?"

Indubitably
[Yo, since they're at the mansion, if anyone wants to drop in, it's all good with me. 8D]

Jan simply listened, brow slightly raised. She didn't exactly approve of Ancelin's anger, but she didn't disapprove, either. It was the other girl's choice, and they were just two different people. Moving her arm up from around the various casts to gently rub the other girl's neck she rolled her shoulders in a fluid shrug.

"Yah, Ahm sure. Et'd give ya a break from all o' th' well wishas, yanno?"

Tenshi_Kuronaho
(( Indy-kins! *cling*

S'cool with me too now that I don't got to go nowhere. 8D ))

Ancelin nodded her head, nuzzling at the same time.
"Alright. I can call Vincent and tell him to bring my things.. Did you walk to the mansion, or did you drive?" she asked as she looked up to the taller blond beside her. The bruises around her eye and cheeks where starten to lighten, but she wasn't going to take the bandaid quite yet, if ever. She had stiches under there, and she was too afraid they where going to scar.

"Maybe with you around I can get a somewhat decent bath. I can't put the casts in water, and nobody is willing to scrub off the parts of me uncovered with a rag. Vincent complains that it'd be wrong for him to see my girl parts." She said as she rolled her eyes.

Arcturus Highwind
((Random crappy entrance, ho? sweatdrop ))

And one red eyed, zombie-ish, fatigued man made his way towards the Mansion. It had been... he wasn't aware how long it had been. Everything was getting kinda fuzzy.

So out comes the parental unit, and in his arms, cradled was the Sinaeis Garrick. It seemed to be sleeping, for a change. But the nomad was sure that the moment he stopped moving, it would start up all over again. No rest for the wicked. He must have done something really bad in a past life.

It took longer than normal to become aware there were poeple in his way. Almost by the time he was about to walk over them, less than a yard away would he stop short, and stare uncomprehending at the two girls there.

Indubitably
"I walked."

Jan shot the disheaveled looking man in the entryway of the livingroom a cool look, letting her hand fall away from Ancelin as her eyes dropped to the more important thing in his arms, Garrick. She remembered the babe. Didn't have much of a personality. Seemed slower than most Sin'aeis children. Perhaps it was the man's fault. Jan herself had been slow, only in speech development, though.

She didn't remember the man's name. She'd played with the child briefly before leaving to go to work. She did think she remembered the babe. "Garrick?" perhaps.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
"Hello Ro, enjoy sleeping with my sister? I see you used protection." An said as she shot the man a slight leer. He was dirty, again, but at the moment she was not in the condition to make him strip and bath himself like she had before. And she was afraid that Onii would show up again with the desire to man-handle him.

She then glanced over to Jani and smiled, as if going threw a complete personality change when addressing a different person.
"You've met?"

Arcturus Highwind
Blink... blink...

It was the crazy woman... and the angry one. Yi Jen Ro slowly came to realize it. Most of Ancelin's leer and scorn was lost on him however. At least in the state he was now. His eyes were bloodshot, he had very large black bags under them, his features seemed slack and lacking life. And his eyes seemed to have trouble focusing on the two of them.

To top it all off, he had stopped, and Garrick was waking up. His little eyes opened up, his mouth went wide. And the crying started again.

"It's... you two," Yi Jen Ro said. Not to be profound, or snide, or much of anything. But because his mind was vaguely aware he shoudl be saying something right now.

Garrick wiggled in Yi Jen Ro's arms. And it looked like he was about to start crying again. As soon as he woke up. Yi Jen Ro cringed.

Indubitably
Jan wasn't very angry. Protective, perhaps, but anger was an emotion she lacked. Getting to her full height of 6'1", she strode to where he stood, raised her eyebrows to ask permission, and noting his exhausted appearance, simply took Garrick out of his arms.

Shifting the babe until he was held properly, she nodded to a chair near the couch. "Siddown. Ah'll gitcha'll a drink." That was: Ancelin, Yi Jen Ro, and Garrick. Exiting the room and entering the kitchen, it was easy to find what she needed. A glass of lemonade for Ancelin [with straw], two beers, and some milk and juice. Garrick was bound to approve of one of those things.

Coming back with the baby and the tray, she set it on the low coffee table, and held out a beer to Ro, not sure if he drinked or not. After getting his answer, she took a seat back on the couch and almost tenderly held the straw to Ancelin's mouth, stroking the baby's back as she did so.

"Wha's wrong with ya?" That was for Ro.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
"He snogged my sister, for one thing. That's bound to mess anybody up." Ancelin said before she gently rapped her lips around the straw. She then reached up and took the glass with both cast covered hands, before she began to drink from it steadily, all the while looking at Ro.
"You could at least bathe the baby." She snorted, before she looked down at the tray with the drinks. She rose an eyebrow at the second beer. Since when did Jani drink beer? Jani didn't drink beer.

"What's with the second beer?"

Arcturus Highwind
Yi Jen Ro took the beer carefully, twisting it open and taking a very long pull before he put it down, still holding it onto it with his right hand, bottle resting on his right thigh, as the tired, tired man fell back into the chair, letting out a little groan as he did so.

"Doctor... colic... apparently he's going to be screaming any time he isn't moving," he muttered. There just wasn't much energy to talk louder or clearer.

"Haven't stopped in... in..." his mind failed, blanking out in his current state. He felt that fatigue catching up to him now that he waas down. His eyes closed, and he was drifting off fast.

Garrick meanwhile, seemed quiet, at least, as long as Jani was holding him and moving around. He seemed to start getting cranky anytime she stopped, getting ready to go Air Raid.

Indubitably
Now that she had a free hand, she let the babe lay in her lap while she expertly rapped the beer bottle's top against the table, causing the cap to pop off, taking a swallow, she raised an eyebrow at Ancelin's question.

"S'fer me." Listening to Ro's narrative, she calmly shifted Garrick in her lap so she could bounce him with her thigh the tiniest bit, and took another short drink, pointing the end of the bottle at the man.

"Y'shoul' bring 'im t'Yuki, one o' th' older Sin'aeis. He can heal 'im righ' up." A quick potion should probably do the trick. They worked wonders. Just a dab of one had healed the large cut that was now a scar on her cheek.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin frowned and looked away from Jani, disappointed. She instead just continued to sip at her lemonade until it was completely gone and her stomach felt sick from drinking too much. Her eyes then went back over to Ro, before looking down at her cast covered knee. There was a mighty nasty itch there and she wanted to scratch it.

She then heard the word 'Yuki' and snapped back to.
"Yeah, Yuki might be able to help. Or at least make something for you to make the kid pass out every once in a while."

She began shifting her cast with her hand to try and adjust the itch.

Arcturus Highwind
"Yu.. kito... Chocolate.... poisoner?" Yi Jen Ro muttered. He had heard of the other sin. And even met him before. Though there seemed to be some cultural gap that lead to a misunderstanding of Yukito's hobbies. Yi Jen Ro had a little grimmace on hsi face, looking more comical that upset in his state as his head flopped over to give a sleepy eye at Ancelin.

Garrick burbled at Jani as the knee started bouncing, waving his stubby chubby little baby arms up at the Potato Sinaeis. He seemed happy enough with it, and wasn't screaming.

Indubitably
Face blank, Jan ignored Ancelin's obvious disapproval, having told herself long ago that she was no longer trying to get in the other girl's good graces. That only led to heartache. Getting to her feet, she decided she'd rather slowly pace the room, stroking and patting little Garrick's back as she bounced him, rather than sit next to an uptight, upset Ancelin.

"Yea, Yukito."

Glad, and slightly surprised that Garrick was responding positively to her, when he seemed to dislike most [then again, babies had always like Jan, so had children, probably because she didn't see any real difference between she and them. They needed the same things, really.], Jan smiled at him, having no qualms about distracting herself.

[jump on in, Rayne!]

Rayne Winner
(( *giggles* Yuki is like a healing super-hero! Appearing where he and his 'powers' are needed. LOL ))

There was nothing better then a day off he decided as he headed along towards his destination. He worked six days a week at his current job and now that he had a day off he needed to return the books borrowed from the clinic and maybe pick up a few more. His brother had said he would cover dinner so that he could go out. Such a good day!

He was a little surprised when he heard his name, looking around in confusion for a moment he shifted his bag on his shoulder. Maybe he was just hearing things? His red eyes glanced back and forth before he heard it again, familiar voices so he headed along towards them curiously. Either someone was talking about him or he really needed a nap because he was starting to hear voices...

His long long, tipped in red fluff swished along behind him as he moved to find the voices, eyes widening a bit when he did. Jani, Ancelin, Garrick and the little Sin'aeis Protector were all gathered, he wondered what was up, "Ahh.. hello there." He greeted, feeling a bit odd. He didn't know if he should be stepping into a conversation where he was being mentioned or not.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin frown furrowed even deeper when Jani walked away. She sighed and began to content herself by scratching at various parts of her body. When she heard the footsteps of another enter the room she looked up, and then cocked her head to the side.

"Speak of the devil. The doctor is in, it seems." She said, before eyeing the baby Garrick. She then reached out and pointed with a blue plaster covered hand.
"Make the baby stop crying."

Just forget the fact it wasn't crying at the moment.

Arcturus Highwind
Blink, blink. It was just coming to that fatigue, crazy man's head that the crazy girl looked a bit more crazy than before. More like she got in a 12 round fight with the champ. Something had really messed her up. Funny the obvious things you miss while sleep deprieved.

"Devil? Doctor?" yup, he was pretty far out of it.

Garrick's little fingers went to cling onto Jani, grabbing hold wherever they could manage it. He seemed happy enough, content for the moment. And not smelling like anything other than the outdoors.

It wasn't to last for too long though, as Garrick squirmed and started to look around, calling out loudly, "BAH GA MAH TA!"

Indubitably
Jan had no idea what that meant. Raising an eyebrow at the baby, she grinned at the sight of Yukito. God, it'd been.... A really long time. Moving toward him, she ignored Ancelin's greeting. Had the girl always been so... biting?

Removing Garrick's little fingers, she approached Yuki, giving him a one-armed hug and nodding to the baby. "Got summin' fer 'is colic, Yuki?" Perhaps the little baby would be interesting in yanking Yukito's tail, that was always good for a chuckle.

Rayne Winner
Yukito gave a bit of a smile the Ancelin's mention of the doctor being in. He found himself looking around a moment trying to decide who was sick. If he had to guess he would say Garrick's Protector, the man looked like he was a step away from collapsing. He was about to say as much when instead the little one was brought to him, "Colic?" He asked, looking Garrick over before he gave a nod. He should have something with him that would help.

After returning Jani's hug he slid his bag off of his shoulder and knelt down next to it, digging around throug the contents. There was the soft clinking of glass bottles that indicating that he had his potions with him, not as many as usual he needed to restock but enough.

"This one may help." He said, holding out a green tinted potion, "Should taste like mint as well which may help get him to take a couple sips." Harder to get little ones to take medicine so he hoped a good flavor would encourage it.

He then gave a glance to Yi Jen Ro, "Does he... need anything? He doesn't look very good." He asked, looking between Ancelin and Jani since they may know.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin looked over to Ro as she sat on the couch, leg propped up on her wheel chair.
"Do you have potions to give back someone their soul?" she sneered. She had never seen one of Onii's victims after she got done with them. For all she knew, acting like you where about to pass out was a sympton of loosing ones soul to a succubus.

She then bit down on her lip and began to rub her back back and forth on the couch.

Arcturus Highwind
((RP? ninja ))

City girls... That thought came somewhat clearly to the parental unit, crashed out on the chair. Insane they were, though this one seemed disturbed when he first met her, now, well, now she was snarkier and disturbed. Probably was one of Those types, he figured. He shifted on the chair, getting into a more comfortable spot, drink still in his hand.

Garrick called out again, sounded a bit crankier this time, "BAH TA GA TA!" at anyone who would listen to him. His little hand reached up, going for something that looked pullable to get attention. First thing he found? Jani's ear, which his little fingers grabbed onto and started pulling at.

Ability/Aversion Quest: Save the Birdy!

Tenshi_Kuronaho
(( Ancelin finds an injured bird and basically has to do something about it. XD ))

Ah Autumn. How it confuses people. The day before had been warm, and sunny. And Ancelin had planned to wheel her way to the mansion for a little bit of fun. But no, today it had to be cold. Freezing freakin cold. And all Ancelin had on besides her casts was a mini skirt. Oh the irony.

But that's not really mattered right now. If one would of past the mansion, they would of seen an overturned wheel chair sitting over the steps that lead into the front door, along with the front door being wide open. If anything, someone could blame it on the chilly ice wind that was blowing. But that certainly wasn't the case.

Ancelin was currently sitting in the kitchen with tears in her eyes, holding something small in her hand. The tears from a mixture of grief and frustration. The frustration that she didn't know how to help in her current state.
"Hang on, please. Don't die." Ancelin pleaded to the small object.. or rather creature, that she was holding in her hand. She slowly drug her body a crossed the floor with one arm, trying to make it to the phone. She was going to need someones help. How could someone with a broken themur, a dislocated knee, a broken wrist, arm, dislocated shoulder, hernia, and three cracked ribs help one injured animal? She couldn't even help herself!

"Please. Is there anybody here?!" She called out. Someone had to be here.

Arcturus Highwind
"Please. Is there anybody here?!"

...

"Hello?" came the answer. Distant and behind the pheasant girl. Coming form the direction of the front door. Where a certain boy stood, confused, looking at the open door and the overturned wheelchair with a very puzzled look on his face.

"Does someone need help?" he called out. Maybe some injured person was dumped here and crawled in? Something happened. He stepped inside the Sin Mansion slowly, quite nervous and uncertain if he was allowed to just walk in without anyone there letting him in.

"Hello?"

Tenshi_Kuronaho
"Help!" Ancelin called from the kitchen as she heard someone call out to her.
"Bring my wheel chair!" She added. She wasn't of much use when she was just laying on the floor in a mess of plaster. infact it was next to impossible to move without hurting herself. Right now the broken arm that she had been using to drag herself was throbbing. Adding yet another source to the young girls tears.

"Please hurry!" She added, she recognized the voice. But she couldn't place whom it belonged to.

((What's the kids name? XD Has he even told Ancelin? )

Arcturus Highwind
((Nope, I don't think he's ever told her. sweatdrop But I had chosen Tyler for him.))

With the first cry of "Help!", there came the sound of running feet. Then "Bring my wheel chair!" resulted in a crash, sounding like someone failed to stop/make the turn and went right into a wall. Confirmed as a cry of annoyance, frustration, and pain came out afterwards. Then more running.

The kid scrambled out, panic was gripping his mind. Somehow he just couldn't figure out how to put the chair on its wheels. And instead, gave up and just dragged it behind him as he ran after the voice.

Another crash, into another wall. But was closer. And then finally he came into sight. Winter's jacket and jeans like always. Baseball cap pulled down low. Eyes towards the floor as he ran in, dragging the wheel chair behind him.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
(( I didn't think so ether. XDD ))

Ancelin's eyes lit up with joy when she saw the familiar face. She then opened her mouth to call out to him, before she realized she had no clue what his name was..
"Oh thank god your here!" She satisfied herself to say. She then held out the object she had been holding in her hands.

It was a small baby bird, that looked as if it had fallen out of it's nest. It's wing was bent in the entirely wrong direction, and was all scratched up and bleeding from landing on the concrete. But ether way, it was still breathing. Ancelin didn't look so good ether. Her casts where covered in dirt and the parts of her arm, stomach, and face that weren't covered in bandages where scratched up from her dragging herself.

"Please, you have to help me save it. I don't know how I can help it when I'm like this." She pleaded.

Arcturus Highwind
What a scene... the poor kid just dropped the wheelchair behind him, shocked by what was there. After all, he had no idea it was Ancelin who was banged up. Much less that badly. Much less wearing a miniskirt, that had to be a first. And then a bird. Both in such horrible shape.

He knelt down, being careful around both of them, "Just hold onto him for now..." he said, speaking very softly, very slowly. Mostly to take some time to figure out what the hell to do here.

First things first. The bird was, well, in a decent enough place in her hands, right?

He scrambled back to where he dropped the chair, struggling, to get the chair on its wheels. Took about a minute, for some reason he just couldnt' seem to be able to do that, he kept stumbling.

But once it was up, he went back to Ancelin. His eyes seemed a little wide, and he was a little shakey.

"Okay, now I'll help you up, you just hold onto it... then we can go find a better place to keep it, yeah?"

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin nodded as she watched her friend get the wheelchair up on it's feet. It was easier to knock over and fall out of then it was to get back up, apparently.
"Do you think you can pick me up?" She asked. If it was Jani, she would of already lifted her and put her on the couch. But with how sickly he was, An wasn't sure he was strong enough to lift her 140 pound booty.

"If you can lift my legs I think I can pull myself up into the chair. My legs are alot worse off than my arms." She said, before she looked down to the bird in her hands. It was squirming and peeping. She took that for a good sign, it had enough spirit to fight her. She cupped both hands around it, careful not to squish it. She might have to set it down to get back in her 'transport'.

Arcturus Highwind
"Um... um..." the boy was looking Ancelin up and down. He seemed to be gauging in his head if he could lift her, and his hands were coming out, looking about ready to pick her up.

So he reaches out, and suddenly he jerks his hand back, letting out a nervous little sound and keeping his eyes straight down.

"Uh... just try not to wiggle much," he finally said. Then just went in and got an arm under her legs, and one behind her back. With a loud grunt he strained himself, and lifted, getting her inch by inch off the floor.

... then, off for the scramble to the chair. His face was turning red, and he seemed to be struggling with it as he tried to lift that last little bit and get her in the chair.

... yup, probably hurt himself trying to lift all of Ancelin up into the chair. He was just a twiggy boy after all.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin blushed. She forgot that the casts had to add another good 20-30 pounds to her. And he was being sweet enough to lift her into the chair.
"I'm sorry I'm so heavy." She said, and then grunted as she landed in the chair. She wiggled her butt until she was scooted back far enough, and then put her legs in the props that where there for her. Just forget that the props kept her legs semi-spread and she was wearing a really short skirt. Damn Kuronaho household for not doing the laundry in her absence.

Now that she was in the chair, Ancelin could move about the house more freely. She hit the 'on' button and gave the joy stick a push so she would move a little. Then looked down to the bird.
"Do you have any idea how we could help it?" She asked, looking up to him.

Arcturus Highwind
"Um... uh..." the boy was keeping his eyes pointed away from Ancelin and right towards his feet. He was holding his arms close, and the red in his face did seem to be from a little more than just the exertion of lifting up body and casts into the chair.

"Well... um..." he paused again, then started looking around the room, "Well... you get a cage for it... or something. Lots of water and food. Then go and bandage up the cuts and stuff I suppose."

Yup, he had no clue what to do. He was just throwing out any logical idea.

"Where would that stuff be?"

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin looked at the bird. She guessed they could try and snap it's wing back into place. But what is they just did more damage? Still, they needed something to keep it in besides her hand.
"On the second floor, the third door on the right. There's a room that they keep all the mansion pets and fish in. There should be an empty 5 gallon tank on the floor in the cubbard. Get that, and I'll begin shredding paper towels for bedding." She said, trying to get a ground plan.

She gently laid the bird on the hem of her skirt, watching it huddle up to her for warmth. She then rolled acrossed the room and got a paper towel roll, and began tarring.

Arcturus Highwind
((Sorry Miss Kuronaho, I had gotten pulled away. Good luck at work. Hope to see you tomorrow.))

Yup, yup. The boy nodded three times, and remained rooted to the spot. Yeah, it took a moment for the fact she was effectively ordering him to do something to sink into his head. But once it was there, he was booking off through the mansion, running as fast as he could out of the room.

And into another wall. He really seemed to be having a problem with that lately. Couldn't have been too bad though because it sounded like he barely missed a step from the impact. Onwards and upwards, pounding up the steps three at a time, only having tripped once and getting out of it quickly using his hands to push him along.

He ripped open the door as fast as he could, nearly throwing it off the hinges, if that was at all possible... only having failled to push/pull in the right direction once.

He was making a horrible noise upstairs. Thumping around, bumping into something more than once. There was a crashing sound from upstairs. And a muffled cry from the boy.

A moment later a call of "FOUND IT!" came down. The thumping around gone as he slowly, carefully started to carry the tank down, back to Ancelin.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
(( Awww, that's really cute Rayne. Those two would actually look really cute together. XD ))

Ancelin awaited the boys return, gently stroking the baby birds un-broken wing from time to time to make sure it was okay. It seemed to be getting weaker, and that thought worried her. Once the boy returned she quickly dumped the shredded towel into the tank, and then gently set the bird inside of it.
"Um.. I hate to ask this of you. But would you come with me to the pet store? There's one that's only four blocks from here, and I'm friends with the boy who works there. He's a student at a local vetranary school, so he might be able to help." It was worth a shot, right?

"..If you have something else you need to do though I'll understand if you don't want to come with me."

Arcturus Highwind
((Quite cute Miss Winner.))

"Oh... no, I can help you," he answered, quite quietly however. His right hand came up, rubbing at the back of his neck as he kept his eyes down on the little bird in the cage.

"Well..." he started looking around, for a cupboard and a faucet. Grabbing a really shallow bowl, and filling it with some water. He wasn't sure what that particular bird type ate, but doesn't everyone need water? He set that down in the cage, relatively near the bird, incase it needed some water on that 4 block hike.

"Just lead the way. I'll be right behind you."

Yup, looked like he was going to be hauling that cage.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin grunted as she lifted the tank with her cast covered arms and set it in her lap. She wasn't about to make him carry it when it could sit in her lap. She then moved the joystick forward, leading the boy to the front door and over the thresh-hold.
"This is why I need your help.." She said, looking towards the steps in front of her.

"Can you steady me when we go over stumps like this? Otherwise I'll just fall like I did when I first got here." She said, reffering to her chair being outside when he first arrived. She looked down at her chest and winced slightly.
"After this I'm going to have to go see my doctor. I think I re-hurt my ribs during my fall."

Arcturus Highwind
((Yay! RP!))

He nodded mutely as Ancelin asked for his help. Taking a hold of whatever handles were out back for such a purpose, latching on as tightly as he could, tensing up his arms as much as possible, not sure how heavy it was going to get as they navigated the stairs.

"Ready."

And helping steady he would. Probably not perfectly. It was pretty likely he was going to slip up and there was going to be bumps. But it should be enough that Ancelin could keep her seat and the aquarium wouldn't go flying.

"So... um... how did... that?" he asked, stumbling over the words, but giving a nod of his head towards the multi-cast set up going on.

Tenshi_Kuronaho

"Ancelin saw him motion towards her body and looked down, before she sighed.
"I was hit by a car. I was going to a birthday party for one of my gaurdian's friend's niece. When I was almost there I saw a little girl run out into the road, and then the next thing I know I'm waking up in a hospital being told that I died and they had to resussitate me. And that I pushed the little girl out of the way." she frowned as she looked down to the cage in her lap.

"I don't even remember it happening. All I remember is a really sharp pain and then a bright light." She said, she then looked back over her shoulder, unable to touch it.
"It feels.. weird not having them anymore." She said, refering to her wings. Lost in the accident.

Arcturus Highwind
"Well... at least you don't have to deal with molting anymore."

Yup, Mister "I'm allergic to the giver of all life", was putting on a positive spin. Weird huh? He gave Ancelin a weak, but well meaning smile. He shrugged his own shoulders at the futility of it all.

He was still following behind the chair, hands on the handles still, though he doubted he still needed to hold on. It was just THERE to give his hands something to do.

"So what have you been doing, since..." again, that pause, and another nod of his head down towards the casts.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
"A whole lot of nothing and suffering." Ancelin said with a grunt. "I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. All I do is itch and itch and I can't move. Because I can't move I can't clean. I can't take care of my fish. I can't go anywhere because of this wheel chair.. I can't even feed myself!" She whined, tears welling up in her eyes as she scooted along the sidewalk.

"I hate it.. My life is forever going to be affected by this and for what? Some girl who was too stupid to stay out of the road." She said, before she took in a breath. "I'm sorry.. I shouldn't be spiteful.. But all this is doing is causing me grief. Especially with the lawsuit not going well."

Arcturus Highwind
Ug... He couldn't help feel just the smallest bit of disgust at the whining. After all, a few months, she'll be fine again. Fully able. Not like her wings did much but look nice. Not like him. His WAS a life long problem. He reached up and pulled the hat down a bit lower, the collar of his jacket up a bit tighter. His mortal nemesis could burn out of those clouds at any time.

But he got over it. Just took about a good 10 seconds of silence as they walked.

"Not like you can't do Anything," he finally said. "Probably a good time to pick up a new hobby. Something like sketching, or blowgun marksmanship." Yeah, that one was out of left field. But he figured she wasn't completely crippled, if she could crawl that far. Or pull herself up into her chair.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin held up one hand after the other, showing that her casts stopped at her fingers.
"One looses their dexterity when they've got casts up to their knuckles." she explained. "All I do is watch TV and sleep. Everyone's gotten tired of going with me to places, and when I go out by myself I get in trouble.. Like when you showed up." She paused.

"Just last week I was stranded in the park for five hours because my wheel chair battery went dead and was unable to roll myself or get to my cell phone. Finally a stranger was kind enough to get it off the back of my wheel chair for me so I could call Vincent to pick me up." she then looked down to the bird. "Me and this bird are kindred spirits. I just hope I can save it from loosing it's wings."

Arcturus Highwind
He finally looked down, getting a good view of the little injured bird. Mostly trying to guess how well it was doing. Was it going for the water, flopping around, or just laying there?

"Hope we get there soon..." he muttered slowly. Not that he knew much about birds, and that was exactly the point. For all he knew the guy was sitting there and bleeding out on the inside.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
(( Yes, very glad to hear it Indy-poo. heart

Guess what Arct, Rune is back again. ))

As if on cue, as soon as the three turned the corner the pet store was in sight. Ancelin scooted until they where in front of the building, and then rolled up the ramp and into the front door. It was about time something was wheel chair friendly.
"This ramp wasn't always here..." Ancelin muttered to herself, but it probably sounded like she was talking to her friend.

"Steeeeve?" Ancelin called out. And sure enough a young man with sloppy blond hair stuck his head out from under the counter. In his hand he held a bottle and a baby chinchilla, apparently he was already nursing a young animal in need.

"Ancelin! Did you like the wheel chair ramp I had installed? I figured it would make it easier for all our customers to come inside now." He grinned, Ancelin smiled and shook her head, before she went to the front counter.
"I found this baby bird injured on the sidewalk, I think his wings are broken. Can you do anything to help him? I know you're in school now to become a vet.. So I was hoping maybe you would know how to deal with this." she said, before looking to her friend to lift the tank for her.

((He needs to tell her his name sometime. XD ))

Arcturus Highwind
(( I KNOW! She's been talking to me since about 1 PM. wink Today is an awesomeday. Annoying bum sleeping in our living room? Moving out. Traverse Time, back on track. Miss Kuronaho RP? Happening.

What more could a guy want?

Well...

But I can't get that over the internets.))

"Oh... yeah..."

He was feeling pretty much useless, adn massively outta place. He swore he could smell the stink of animal feces and piss. Not to mention imagined annoying noises from them all. He kept wringing his hands, his shoulders shrugged up high, his head tucked down so it seemed it was barely peeking out of his jacket.

Feeling a bit out of place and foolish he grabbed up a tank with a grunt. From the top sides, rather than the bottom. He was being very careful to try and keep it from bumping around when he finally let it drop on the counter. A bit hard. His fingers were slipping and he had to do it fast.

Grunt work done, he stepped back, out of the way, hoping he could just blend into the wall.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Steve looked to the boy and smiled thoughtfully, before he began digging around in the tissue to find the baby bird.
"Is this your boyfriend, Anny?" he asked, and Ancelin blushed.
"No no! You remember Jani right? She's my gi... Er... Well no, he's not my boyfriend. He's my friend.. He's really nice though, he helped me get back into my wheel chair after I fell out earlier today." she explained, trying to hide the red flush on her cheeks.

Steve nodded as he examined the bird.
"Thank you for looking after little Anny here. She can be just as helpless as this baby bird sometimes. I'm Steve, what's you're name?"

((hehe... I'd say something completely perverted, flirty, and out of place right now but I will keep it to myself since this is a public thread. ))

Arcturus Highwind
((I was referring to Pie. I can't get that over the internets.))

And that poor guy turned a fair shade of red as well. He kept his head down, looking down at the floor. Yup, real interesting flooring down there. Real interesting.

Oh, crap, they were talking to him. They wanted his name? His mind blanked for a second, his jaw falling open and nothing at all coming out.

"Um... uh... Tyler... sir..." he kept his head down, and was mumbling it. Chances are no one but his shoes heard him. And he swore he could feel his knees shaking and his shoulders feeling a bit weak.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
(( Cherry Pie? ))

"No need to be shy, I don't bite, Tyler. I have a cousin named Tyler." Steve said as he moved the wing around. The little bird let out a loud chirp which caused Ancelin to wince, and Steve gave a sage nod of his head.

"You're lucky. It's wing is just dislocated." Steve said before he gently gripped both sides of the bird's wing, and then snapped it back into place. The bird started screaming and chirping wildly, which caused the pin of parakeets to go wild.

"As for it scratches all we can do is keep it clean so it wont get infected and nurse him until he's big enough to eat on his own. He'll probably make a good pet." He said as he held the bird out to Ancelin. Ancelin frowned and held up her hands.

"I'm in no condition to raise a baby bird, not until my hands are better." She explained, and Steve nodded.
"Well, tell you what.. Since you're my favorite and most loyal customer, I'll keep an eye on him for you. And all I'll charge is one movie and dinner, my treat?" He said with a wink. Ancelin smiled and nodded her head.
"I think that sounds like a fair wager. Pick me up Friday at six?" She smirked.
"Deal." he said, before he looked over to Tyler. "You wanna come to? There's always room for one more."

Arcturus Highwind
((One of my favorites.))

Yup, he winced and cringed when all the noise started too. He had been trying his best to melt into the wall and away from the action. And he had thought he had succeeded too. Steve and Ancelin were all off doing their thing...

Then... CRAP! They were talking to him.

"Uh... um... well... uh..." come on, say something dammit. Open your mouth, and form an intelligible sound. DO IT!

"Uh... well... um... weather... ug...." he muttered, his mind spinning around.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin looked back at Tyler and frowned, before she looked back to Steve.
"He's really, really shy. Don't mind him." She said, and Steve nodded.
"Ah, sorry. I didn't mean to bother you if you don't like people, man." Steve said, before he continued to examine the bird. "I'm gonna take this little guy in the back and get him fed and set up where he'll be nice and warm. I'll talk to you later, kay Anny?" he smiled. Ancelin nodded.

"Yeah, I'll see you Friday." She smiled, before she turned her wheel chair around and took Tyler's hand.
"Common, time for you to take me home." She teased, before dragging him out after her. The door bell jiggled as she made her way out the door and down the ramp.

Arcturus Highwind
"Um... uh... yeah... uh..." he muttered again as Ancelin took his hand and led him out of that noisy, smelly, crowded little slice of Uncomfortable. Soon as they were out he let out a huge breath of air he wasn't aware of having held in. His shoulders relaxed, his head popped up a little so he looked something more like a normal person. Though still a little slouchy.

That and his hand was shaking and sweaty. Soon as he became aware of that he tried to pull his hand away and wipe it off on his jeans, if he could.

"Who's Jani?" he asked finally. Yup, he seemed to at least have caught that.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin's face grew dark red at that question. Yeah, Jani definitely was somebody important.
"She's... My best friend. I've known her since I was just a baby." She explained, and that's really all she could say without stretching the truth.
"She went away to boarding school when we where children and just recently came back. I... professed my love to her. But I don't know how she feels about me.. I kinda think she doesn't like me at all anymore. She always avoids me. But when we're together she's so affectionate." she explained.

"It's a complicated story." She finally said, before she looked up to Tyler. "Do you have anybody you like?"

Arcturus Highwind
Yup, he took a couple of moments in silence, processing what he all heard. It was a lot of information dumped at him in just a few seconds. He kept walking, nice, steady steps.

Oh, yeah, she asked him a quesiton. He shook his head, slowly, barely moving it, while he mumbled, "Um... no... I don't meet many people."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin nodded her head as she slowly chugged along, head bouncing as they went over bumps in the concrete.
"But you've got to be lonely, aren't you? Why don't you try and meet more people? You're a really sweet guy." She asked, eyes forward on the sidewalk. She was looking out for sudden drops and rises, that way she wouldn't rocket herself out of the chair.

Arcturus Highwind
He shook his head, "No.... quality over quantity," he said, and gave Ancelin a little smile. Not that she saw it, all intent on the sidewalk. He sighed a little, but kept walking on, keeping right at her side lest she does take that tumble to the pavement.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
It couldn't of taken more than a halfhour for the two to get to where Ancelin was headed, she didn't even know if Tyler noticed they werent heading back towards the mansion. Ether way, she pulled up to a fence at the front of a driveway that was otherwise serounded by trees, and entered in her pincode. The gate opened and she looked up to her friend, smiling.
"Do you wanna come inside with me? Everyone in my household is really friendly."

(( I gotta start getting ready for work in 15 mins. You wanna go ahead and close this RP up soon?))

Arcturus Highwind
((As you wish Miss Kuronaho.))

Tyler shook his head slowly at Ancelin, "You'll be fine from here, right?" he asked. His eyes rolled up towards the sky, towards that cloud cover that could break up anytime. They were looking a little thin. There was a bright spot in the clouds that had to be the Evil Ball of Fire.

"I... need to make my escape while I can."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin looked up at the sky in confusion, and then squinted when she was blinded by the soon to be showing sun. Ah, that was it.
"Alright.. Thank you for helping me today. I wouldn't of been able to do it without you." She said, before she grabbed his sleeve and pulled him down so that he was face level with her.

"I really appreciate it." She said before she planted a kiss on his cheek, leaving a light pink smudge from her lipgloss. She then released him and adjusted the wheel chair so she could head up the driveway.

"I'll talk to you later Tyler." She smiled, before she began to putter up the concrete path.

Keep up if you can!

Tenshi_Kuronaho
(( I seem to have managed to snatch the computer while Brian went for a food run. So yes, I will RP. ninja he's played enough WoW for today anyways. Although Casey will be here soon (joy) so don't be surprised if I kinda semi-disapear in a halfhour. ))

Ancelin sat outside the Sin mansion, staring at the flowers contently. She seemed to be basking in the fall cool and watching as the change in season affected nature around her.

She seemed to be getting better physically. All her bruises and minor flesh-wounds had healed, and all that was left of her damage was a few casts here and there. Her one leg was still in a straight cast, but her ankle was now just in a brace. Same for both her wrists. The cast around her ribs remained, but it was now covered up in a navy blue hoodie that read "Know your mushrooms" on it and featured the various Mario brother effects mushrooms. She still had to subside to wearing skirts over her casts, but at least she had a nice fleece blanket to toss over her lap to keep her warm.

Yes, Ancelin was finally starting to look a little less worse for wear.
"... My foot itches." She sighed. Well.. At least she could move around a little now.

Arcturus Highwind
((Seems like he's the only one Ancelin likes anymore. wink ))

So. Friday. He was feeling a bit weak really. He could swear his legs were trembling. No, not knee knocking bone clanging trembling. But more like some quivering tremors through his muscles and tendons.

He approached the manor slowly, wearing a dark green hoodie, with hood in fact pulled up over his head. His hands were jammed in the pocket on the front, his shoulders slumped up. His head was pointed towards the ground, and he seemed to be mumbling something over and over.

It was then he reached the Manor, and turned to walk up towards the stoop, still not having looked up, and apparently not yet having spotted Ancelin.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin on the other hand had spotted her friend, and had her head turned in his direction, eyes following him. She then turned her head the other way as he walked past. She blinked, and then cleared her throat.
"You okay?" she asked, wondering if he had seen her.

She hit the rotary on her wheel chair and turned to face him, before she cocked her head to the side.
"It's cloudy today. Do you have to avoid the sun even when it's not out?"

Arcturus Highwind
(( Man. I pretty much couldn't qualify for any scholarships. My parents made too much money. Not that they would give me any. White boy, so no luck there. Only an average student. So not there, etc, etc, etc. ))

Blink. He froze right in his tracks, midstep, and slowly, taking a deep breath, turned around, looking up over at the wheelchair. And blushing a little, just a little, embarressed he missed it, complete with a goofy smile on his face and a chuckle under his breath.

"Well... still some sunlight getting through, you know? Not as much, and the goop gets it. But old habits..." he explained.

Yup, as he got close you could definately smell that. Something he always had on. That little whiff of sunblock. Anything that helps.

"What happened to the bird?" he asked, more like blurted out really, hoping to change the subject.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
(( *noms on Indu* ))

Ancelin smiled.
"It's doing alot better. Her wing's completely healed. And Steve says she's even been eating and growing more feathers. It looks like she's going to make a complete recovery, and make a nice house pet once she's fully grown." She smiled.

"I really owe it to you. Without your help I know I would of never been able to make it to Steve to get his help, and there was no way I could of helped her by myself." She said, tilting her head to the side as she giggled.

Arcturus Highwind
He smiled, and looked back down to his feet. Yup, seemed to be getting a bit more red around the face. Though of course it was harder to see what with Hoodie Mass blocking some of the sight and the ground taking up the rest.

"Ain't nothin' anyone else wouldna done fer ya..." he said, slipping into some strange, twangy accent that was far from his norm.

A moment, getting himself back under control, and he looked up towards Ancelin.

"And how are you doing?"

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin blushed as she looked up to her friend, before she looked down.
"I'm doing alot better. As you can see, I'm out of alot of the casts now. I can use my hands and move my ankle, so long as I don't put too much pressure on them. And the wounds on my back are healing up perfectly. I don't even have to get any skin grafting from where my wings where amputated." She said, before she looked back up.

"You know, for a minute there you sounded just like my friend Jani.." She said, before she frowned and took in a deep breath. It felt like she hadn't seen Jani in forever.
"She has the most adorable accent, like she's from BFE or something."

Arcturus Highwind
"BFE?"

Yup, couldn't help but ask. Since he had absolutely no idea what those letters ment at all. He did seem a bit more relaxed now. His shoulders weren't tensed up anywhere near as much. He was standing up straighter now, looking Ancelin in the face, rather than more towards her wheel or feet.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
"Bufu, the middle of nowhere. Way out in the country.. She uh.. Has a bit of a southern accent." She elberated. She didn't feel comfortable saying the words that it really stood for, so she thought she'd give the PG13 version.

"Beats the hell out of me where she got it, seeing as she grew up in the same area as us. But it's cute anyways." She smiled, then it dimmed instantly. "She talks a bit clearer now, ever since she returned from boarding school.. But I don't see her much now."

Arcturus Highwind
"Why not?"

Yup, just had to ask. Couldn't keep his trap shut apparently. He noticed the dimming just about 3 seconds after he asked. And was tensing up again, almost like he was preparing to get hit. His gaze dropped back down towards the ground again.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin shrugged.
"Maybe she doesn't like me anymore. I am a bit of a b***h, after all." That was it, that was all she said. It was simple as that, wasn't it? Why SHOULD Jani want to spend time with a stupid insensative b***h like her? She'd have to be a masicist to do such a thing.

Ancelin looked up to the boy and smiled softly, to show him it was nothing for him to get upset about.
"To be honest, you're one of the only people I get along with aside from Vin-Vin, Shi-Shi, and Oliver."

Arcturus Highwind
"Got a Mister Hyde thing going on?" he asked softly, looking up towards Ancelin again. Yup, there was a smile on his face, even giving her a little wink, just like his father used to do.

Because b***h was one of the last things he'd think of in relation to her. Must be pretty lucky then to keep catching her in a good mood.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin laughed, releiving the pressure in her chest. It felt good to laugh, she didn't do it hardly at all.
"Yeah, when you're not looking I drink my cleaning supplies and then rawr! Out comes my evil side." She snikkered, before brushing her bangs behind her ear.

"I don't know what it is. Just something about you brings out my nicer side." She said. "I guess it's because you keep yourself clean." She winked in return.
"The last guy I met who was dirty got stripped clean and washed, and then got the royal b***h treatment." which kinda seemed like a double edged sword, if it where looked at from a guy's perspective.

Arcturus Highwind
(( Last post for now. Gotta go housesit tonight. See ya tomorrow Miss Kuronaho. ))

His eyes glanced over to the right and upwards, taking a moment to look over that scene in his mind and trying to figure out what, exactly, that could possibly mean. Most of it seemed really far out there. And not at all making any sense compared to the bird girl he knew.

Finally he shook his head, just getting the problem out of his head, unable to solve it for now.

"Not keeping myself clean so much as avoiding most of what gets people dirty I suppose. Biggest mess I make ever tends to be drawing with my charcoals."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
"More people need to be like that." Ancelin said as she picked a leaf that fell off her head and threw it to the ground.
"Back before I got hurt I took three showers a day. And the house got cleaned at least once a day. And I avoid things that make one dirty aswell." She said with a sage like nod.

"I guess I'm a bit of a germophobe.. I just don't like dirt." She said, before she glanced at her friend's hands.
"Your hands look clean right now. Have you been drawing lately?"

((Continue! And what's the kids name again? XD I forget. ))

Arcturus Highwind
(( Keep trying to weasel a name out of me. wink I guess we decided it was Tyler. ))

"A little... but I usually make sure to wash my hands afterwards."

He gave a faint smile, his head leaning towards the left, just barely off the verticle axis. "First time I left a charcoal smear on the wall. Didn't make that mistake twice."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin laughed at the notion, and then looked at the pocket watch she had hanging off her skirt.
"Hey.. Do you wanna go do something? I've just been sitting here bored out of my skull. But now that you're here I can actually get out without having to worry about my wheel chair battery dieing." She smiled, before she pulled out her wallet.

"My treat?"

Arcturus Highwind
He seemed to pause for a moment. Just as if his mind had checked out and was somewhere else entirely. His eyes were looking up and towards the left. Off into the sky.

That only lasted for a moment though before he nodded his head and said, "Yeah, sure. What were you thinking of?"

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin shrugged at the question, before she cocked her head to the side, causing it to make a loud popping sound. She groaned and straightened it back up. Yeah, she was still a little stiff around the joints.

"I'm not really sure.. We could go get something to eat? Ever since they put these braces on my hand, I've been able to start using forks and spoons again. I'm eager to eat something that isn't a sandwich or pizza." She said with a nod. After all, one cannot eat soup with just ones hands.. Can they?

Arcturus Highwind
They could, and did.

"Lead the way, oh fearless warrior!"

He gave a big bow and flourish, complete with dramatic, booming voice. When he rose, he did have a goofy grin on his face.

"But anyway... I don't know what's good around here, I don't usually eat out."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin burst out laughing at Tylor's vigor, nearly doubling over in her chair as she held her hand to her mouth. She snikkered and whiped her eyes, before she looked up and smiled.
"Oh my god, you're such a dork." She sat up and sighed. "I love it."

She then looked from side to side, as if the answer to where they would eat was in the manson's backyard, and then tilted her head.

"Do you like seafood? There's a Joe's Crab Shack about 12 blocks away." oh as if that wasn't a walk in a half.

Arcturus Highwind
Like she cared, she had a motorized vehicle. He however, spent a moment wondering if 24 blocks, plus the way home, was going to be a bit too much for him.

Well, what's the worst that could happen? Blisters?

"Like seafood? Doesn't everyone?" he asked as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. Hell, seafood was about 80% of his diet. At least. Or at least in part of every meal.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin smiled and scooted her chair until she was in front of with her back facing Tyler. She then looked over her shoulder at him and winked.
"You can ether stand on the back, or sit in my lap. Take your pick." she then made a playful scoot back with the chair, making one of the handles bump into the young man's thighs.

"I am dieing for some king crab legs."

Arcturus Highwind
He flinched, and badly, when the wheelchair handle bumped into him. Jumping about two feet back, his arms and head shaking out some willies in his system.

"Nah, I'm in the spring of my youth. I think I can handle a little walk. Be good for me. I don't get out that much."

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin shrugged and adjusted the speed settings on the chair, so she would get too ahead of him if he walked, and then nodded.
"Forward we go then. Charge!" she said as she jabbed a finger up in the air and forward.

With a light 'vrrrrrrr' sound Ancelin began rolling down the stone path to the sidewalk. Her entire body bounced when she went down a step or too, but thankfully they weren't so steep as that she would tip over.
"The doctor says I should be able to use crutches in the next few weeks. I'll be able to start walking again.. Sorta."

Arcturus Highwind
"Huh..."

She seemed to be zipping along faster than normal. But he shrugged it off. Trying to walk. Until he realized she was going faster than that. With that realization, he picked it up, going into double time and a light jog to keep up with her.

"Be good to see you up and about again," he chimed in, when he finally caught up with the chair, and started to try and pace it while still jogging.

Tenshi_Kuronaho
Ancelin smiled as she rolled along, taking occasional stops to let Tyler catch up.
"Eh, the drugs really help. Vicodine makes you reeeally happy." She joked. "But it's mostly because I'm phsyed to be getting better. The doctors say I'm on the road to a full recovery. And then the lawsuit is going well too." She said with a nod.

"I'm looking forward to learning how to walk again. I know it's going to be a real challenge now that half of my weight is gone."

Arcturus Highwind
"Probably going to fill a bit front heavy," he commented while catching up once.

He shook his head right after he said it, "Not like. Just missing the wings eh? You'd be off balance. New center of gravity."

He was breathing fairly hard now. He wasn't kidding about not getting out much. This was the most he had run in years and it was starting to show. But it's not like she was slowing down, so he kept up with it.

DOUBLE QUESTS (ABILITY AND AFF/AV)

Ancelin
When you looked out your window this morning, Ancelin, you noticed that a rare type of bird has started nesting in a tree near your house. You would very much like to keep this bird and their family to be, and so you need to do some things. Firstly, you must identify the bird. Secondly, based on your research, you must go out and buy the appropriate food for the bird and set up a birdfeeder. All of this must be done without speaking to the bird.

To Tame a Heron [Ability/Affinity Quest]

'bee-bee-beep bee-bee-beep bee-bee-beep bee-bee-CLICK'

Ancelin's alarm clock went off without fail at exactly 9:01am. The young girls olive hand reached out and slapped the off button, knocking it onto the floor with a light clatter. With a groan An lifted her head out from under her blanket and glared at the machine on the floor. Ugh, she wanted five more minutes.

Never the less the young teenager slowly rolled out of her blankets and scooted over to the edge of the bed. She slipped into her blue half-cut, fuzzy house slippers and walked to the window, ready to let in some sunlight. The young girl opened the window, squinting a bit at the sudden gush of light. She slowly opened her eyes and let them focus on the outside.

"What's that?" She said to herself as she looked to the patch of trees outside leading into the forest. It was.. well, it looked like a nest. But it was freakin HUGE. When did that get there? Overnight? Surely not, what small bird could build a nest that big overnight, in fact, what small bird would need a nest that big?

A small bird that was in fact a big bird. That's what. Just then a large thin bird with stick legs and a long swan-like neck flew into the center of the nest and sat, adjusting it's wings. It's neck elongated and it peered around, not spotting the blue haired girl staring at it in amazement.
"Shi-shi!" Ancelin called out as she dashed out of her bedroom, running to her guardian's door.

Moments later Ancelin returned, dragging a very annoyed, very tired, and very naked looking Tenshi behind her.
"You got to see this bird, Shi." Ancelin said as the older woman rubbed sleep dust from her eyes.
"I already see a bird, one that's acting like a rooster waking me when it's not wanted." She said, before she found herself shoved by the window. Tenshi set her hands on her hips and gazed outside, seeing nothing but the large nest. The bird had apparently flown away.
"All I see is a nest." Shi said bluntly, before turning her head back to An. An gazed out the window and frowned, before she leaned against the window seal.
"Awww man, I was going to go ask it what it was too." she frowned.
"We've got the internet, just look it up." Tenshi said, before she turned around and started walking back to her bedroom. "Next time don't wake me unless it's important."
"Yes, Shi." An said, continuing to stare out the window.. That didn't sound like a half bad idea…

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Five hours spent on the computer and Ancelin wasn't getting anywhere. She had found many pages on parrots and toucans, and even a few flamingos. She had even found some rather disgusting pornography that would surely give her nightmares that night. But she didn't, however, find out what that blasted bird was. It was then that Arukoru walked up behind her, glancing over his younger housemates shoulders, staring at the screen.
"You're on the computer? Why?" he asked, Ancelin looked up at him, and let out a loud sigh.
"I was trying to figure out what kind of bird it is that's built a nest outside our window."
"I thought you could talk to birds now?" Aru asked, before he took a chug from the beer he had been holding in his hand.
"It flew away before I got the chance." she explained. Aru nodded his multi-colored head and stared at the screen for a few moments.
"Here, let me help. Scoot over." the boy said, and Ancelin did just that. She stood and left the chair open for Aru, who sat down and instinctively pulled up a search engine.
"What'd it look like?" He asked. Ancelin thought for a moment.
"It kind of looked like a flamingo in build, only with white, gray; and black feathers, and a little different."
"Like a stork?"
"Sort of, but not quite."
"Hmmm.."
"Sounds like a heron." Came Vincent's voice as he walked into the room. He was, as per his usual, dressed in nothing but a towel and drying his hair with a second. Ancelin blinked and looked over at Vincent, cocking her head to the side.
"A Harron?" Arukoru asked as he typed it into the search engine, and sure enough pictures of the bird Ancelin saw came up.
"It's that one! That one right there." Ancelin said pointing to the screen, Arukoru clicked the small picture and let the next page load.

"Wikipedia says it's a black-headed heron." Arukoru explained, before he adjusted the monitor for Ancelin to see. The pheasant child read it over slowly.
"It says it eats fish and frogs.. I could probably feed it some of my feeder fish I get from the pet store." She said, Arukoru looked at Ancelin with a raised eyebrow, before he nodded his head.
"I suppose so, but it's probably just migrating. I mean, why would a bird like that be out here in the country?"
"But it built a nest, it wouldn't build a nest unless it was planning on roosting." Ancelin retorted.
"It's last home was probably destroyed for human construction." Vincent suggested. "You thinking of turning it into a pet, An?"
"No.. But I'd really like it if it stayed, it's a really pretty bird." An said as Aru skimmed over the page more.
"Well, we could make it a reedbed and put those feeder fish you where talking about in it, give it someplace to feed."
"You're right. I'm going to go to the hardware store and the pet store to get supplies, do you guys want to come with?" An asked, looking to her older 'siblings'. The two men nodded.
"I don't have anything better to do." Aru said.
"Sure, let me go get dressed." Vincent answered, before walking off towards his room.

------------------------------------------------

After a trip to the hardware store, the pet store where Steve worked, and a few hours spent in the backyard digging and watering with the garden hose, the three young adults stood there wiping sweat from their brows. It wasn't exactly pretty, but it was a reedbed. They had gotten one of those plastic ponds from the hardware store and had but it a few feet from the tree the heron had built it's nest in. After filling it with dirt and some Lilly pads, they had decided to call it quits for the day.

Ancelin stood outside by herself, letting out the last of the feeders from their plastic bags into the water. She had to make sure the water temperature and PH levels where good enough to keep the feeders alive, but feeders where never that difficult to care for.

Just then Ancelin heard a rustling in the tree above her, and she shot her head up to see what had made the sound. It was the heron, and along with it was a second; most likely it's mate. It had returned to it's nest for the night, and was staring at Ancelin with large eyes.
"It's the human that was watching us this morning." Said the first heron, the second arched his head and let out a caw.
"She seems to have built a water pond. Do you think she did it for us?"
"I did." Ancelin suddenly answered, looking up to the two birds. They both squawked in shock that the girl understood her, and looked to each other.
"You did? You did this for us?"
"Yes." Ancelin answered again.
"Why?" Asked the two birds in unison.
"Because I want you to stay." An said with a smile.

"Ancelin, dinners going to be ready soon." said a voice from the back door, it was Tenshi. She looked to the birds with little interest, and then walked back inside. An watched Tenshi, before she looked back to the birds.
"I have to go in and clean up before dinner, enjoy the fish." She said with a smile. "Goodnight." she said, before she walked back into the house. Maybe, just maybe, the birds would stay.

Chance Meeting at the Park

The sound of whistling resonated along the park, attracting the attention or birds just waking from their nightly slumber. Followed by the sound of whistling was the light clacking of plastic-rubber on concrete as Ancelin walked along the pathways with her cane.

Her two-toned eyes trailed upward to gaze at a blue jay flying by and the pheasant girl smiled to herself. Her doctor had told her the best way to get used to walking again was to go out and do it, and he was right. With the help of her cain she was slowly getting used to walking again, with only the occasional trip, stumble or fall.

And this would be one of those occasions. With a grunt Ancelin stubbed her toe on a ridge in the concret blocks, and went falling flat onto her face.
"DAMMIT!"

Jan seemed to catch Ancelin at the most ungraceful of moments. Luckily, this time, she was there to catch her. The tall girl easily righted the pheasant, handing her cane to her in one smooth movement as she flicked her hair from her eyes. Said eyes were dark and sincere as she examined the recovering girl. "Hey, Ancelin..." Jan was the lucky type. Always showing up at the right time.

The blonde was wearing a form-fitting tank-top, par usual, a shell necklace, her piercings, faded, torn blue jeans, and a pair of flopflops. She didn't need heels to boost her height. "Y'alrigh', girl?"

Ancelin was the lucky one, seeing as this always seemed to be the case, someone magically showing up to catch her when she would fall. But hey, it made recovery time go faster? Ancelin grasped the cane and set some of her weight on it, before she adjusted her hair.

"Thanks." She said as she looked up to her rescuer. Her eyes grew a little when she realised it was Jan, which was followed by a bright smile.
"Jan!" She beamed, finally remembering to take the 'i' off. "Yeah, I'm alright. I'm just getting used to my new center of balance is all. What brings you to this part of town?"

Obviously pleased with Ancelin's proper use of her name, Jan's easy, smooth grin appeared on her freckled face, and she shrugged, rolling her shoulders loosely. It looked like the blonde was in a good mood. After all, it was sunny. "S'my day off. I was jes' goin' fer a walk 'bout." After all, the landromat she lived at, the coffee shop Tenshi owned, and this park were all pretty close to one another.

Jan's hands slid into her back pockets and she tilted her head slightly, regarding Ancelin. "'N ya? Jes' gettin' used t'walkin' 'gain, I assume."

Ancelin nodded her head as she turned slightly to face Jan better, both her hands hugging onto the handel of her cane.
"Yeah. I was gonna check out the apartments around here but I heard the birds singing and dicided taking a stroll threw the park wouldn't hurt ether." She said before she glanced up at the trees.

"The hardest part about walking was how weak my legs where after not using them for so long, but after the physical therapy it's been getting much easier."

".... 'n apar'ment? Whyfore?" Figuring it was pretty rude to continue to stand and strain Ancelin's legs, Jan collapsed with surprising grace onto a bench just off the path, her long arms stretching along the back of the bench, one leg propped up on the other as she raised her brows at the blue-haired girl. There was room for two.

Ancelin eyed the bench for a moment, and then eyed Jani. Her eyes lingered on Jan for several seconds, enjoying the view of the taller woman, before she hobbled over and joined her on the park bench. She soothed out her pale yellow dress under her and then set her cane to the side, taking in a deep breath.

"I got alot of money from the law suit, enough to live off of for a short while. So I figured this would be the time to start looking into a job and getting a place of my own. Be more independent." She explained, before she rotated her neck to look at Jan better, resting her cheek on her hands while her elbows propped up on her knees.

"Ah." Jan nodded and seemed content with that answer, and content to just sit, quietly. She wasn't exactly the talkative sort. She spent her time watching the birds and examining plants with her sharp gaze, while Ancelin got time to view the object of her affections. Still, after a few minutes of silence, the other girl was probably wanting to start a conversation with Jan again. The blonde continued to observe their surroundings, relaxed.

Ancelin stayed quiet as she watched Jan. She had a soft and content smile spread over her lips and her eyes where half opened. She was enjoying the sight of Jani basking in the bright sunlight while listening to the lyrics to the birds songs. Singing about love, children, and the coming of day.

An let the silence linger on for a good time, before she finally turned head and gaze forward, watching joggers run by.
"I've missed you." She finally said, content to let the silence resume if Jan didn't want to dwelve further into it.

"Mmmn." Jan didn't really want to get into that, right now. Instead she let the comment slide away, sitting for another minute before running idle fingers through her now-short hair. She was still really glad she cut it. It felt... Right, now. "I'll 'elp ya find a place. Y'movin' en with anyone? Mayhap Vin?"

An's shoulders relaxed with a hint of faint disapointment, before she sat up and let her back rest against the bench. She lifted one leg and folded it over the other, before lacing her fingers around her knee cap.
"Probably by myself. Vincent has a home where he and Shi came from, and only stays with her to keep her company. He's got no interest in finding an apartment on Gaia." she said, before taking a breif pause.

"Oliver might come with me. But it's a very light maybe. I wont be alone though, I'll have all my fish and my birds."

"Well... We'll be neighbors, y'know." That was about as close as Jan got to an invitation, to saying that Ancelin was welcome, or that she'd come over to Ancelin's place, once the pheasant girl got one. Looking away from the slightly older girl to regard a few children playing in the fountain, the blonde's hand, the arm of which was stretched out behind Ancelin, gently touched the blue-haired girl's shoulder. A light, barely-there brushing of fingertips against skin. "Ef y'need any 'elp movin' 'r somethin'."

Ancelin's smile broaded as Jan's fingers graced her shoulder. She didn't move closer or away from the younger girls grasp, she instead just laced her fingers tighter around her knee.
"Thanks. I'll probably need a bit of help with the heavy stuff. I've been looking at some cute vintage furnature from the 70s at the local antique mall. But it's a little heavy." She said before she turned her head to look where Jani's gaze was pointed.

"I think I'll like living on my own. Away from Shi's other kids and in a smaller, more private space."

Jan left her hand there, nodding slowly, still looking away. Her voice was soft when she spoke. "I coul' do tha' fer ya..." Thinking about the second part of what Ancelin had been saying, she finally glanced over, brown eyes unreadable. "Tha' migh' be nice. Less in'eruptions fer wha'eva y'wanna do there." Tilting her head back, Jan regarded the trees and sky above them. "Wha' kinda job y'lookin' fer?"

An's eyes thinned with a hint of perversion at Jan's statement, her eyes then lowered to the girls chest. Yes, less interuptions. More Privacy to have over who she wanted and to do what she wanted without the noisiness of toddlers running around.

"I'm not sure. I was thinking of applying to some pet stores in the area. Or maybe a maid service. Like those people who go to houses and clean carpets and stuff." She suggested, they seemed the best sutied for her. And she knew she could enjoy working at both kinds of locations.
"Are you still working at the loundrimat you live over?"

Jan... Didn't really get flirtation or perversion unless it was very, very blunt. Ancelin's gaze went unnoticed and she shrugged at the question. "Eh, sorta? More like, th'owner gives us cheaper rent t'run th' place, but I don' like doin' et. I'd rather be in th'garden on my time off. I work nights at a club, y'see."

An unlaced her fingers while Jan answered her question. She then reached up with the hand on the same side as the shoulder Jan was touching, and gently laid her fingers over the blonds.
"That sounds interesting. What do you do there? It's gotta be nice being someplace where they play good music all night." An said, before picturing it. Although the image in her mind was that of a rave with girls in bubblegum shirts and light sticks, like the clubs portrayed on TV.

Jan startled just slightly, but didn't move away, letting Ancelin touch her hand as she concentrated on their verbal interaction, rather than the physical one. Her grin appeared, as cute as ever, but slightly embarassed. "Well, I DJ... Et's kinda a gay men's club." Hence the short haircut. At night, Jan had to dress up as a gay boy for her job, and she pulled it off rather well. She even wore rainbow wash-out dye streaks in her pale hair.

Ancelin erupted in a fit of lighthearted giggles as Jan what kind of club she played at. She then turned her head towards Jani, showing a bright smile that was now a rare sight on Ancelin's round face.
"That's so cute. I wish I could go see you perform sometime. I guess girls aren't allowd inside unless they're staff, huh?" She asked, not getting the fact that Jan had to cross-dress.

Jan.... blushed? Just a little bit underneath that tan, freckled skin of hers? "Ah... girls are 'llowed in. Et's jes'.... full o' gay men, 'n gay girls, 'n straigh' girls jes there t'dance." ... Ancelin was still really, really cute. "I'm th'only girl on staff, actually."

Ancelin stopped giggling and nodded her head as she continued to look at Jan's eyes. Her smile went to that of her lips slightly open, showing white teeth. For once her smiles was actually one spawned from happiness rather than formality, or the sad smirks that she had gotten accustomed to using.

"Well, I guess all the guys that work there are gay since it's a gay club. You don't have to worry about sexual harrasment there." She joked, letting her hand give Jan's fingers a light squeeze.
"Where is it? Once I have decent enough balance to dance again, I'll come see you."

Jan gave Ancelin the address, before sliding her hand away from the other girl's and smoothly getting to her feet. Jan glanced around a bit awkwardly, then brushed her pale hair from her eyes before returning to gaze to Ancelin's mouth. "Yea, mayhap y'should. I best be goin' 'bout now. I'll catch ya later?" The tall girl bent to give the pheasant girl a light kiss on the cheek, barely touching.

Ancelin nodded her head as she folded the address and reached to slide into the little pack hanging on her back. She then grabbed hold of her cain and stood along with the older girl. When Jan reached in to kiss her cheek, Ancelin blushed a little and tilted her head to the side.
"Yeah, call me sometime. I miss talking to you." She said, before she reached out and gently took hold of Jan's cheek. She reached in and stole a quick kiss from her lips, a light touch, barely long enough to even feel it.

"Take care." An smiled and winked at Jan, before she turned around and began to stroll away, abnormally fast for someone who needed a cane.

I Wanna Be Your Lover, Wanna Be Your Lover

Jan was working tonight, which anyone who walked past the club would know, due to the flyers advertising that Tuesday night was her night. Naturally, she was in her homo-club boy attire. From one perspective, she looked amazingly hot. Though, that was according to all
the gay men at the club that'd been scoping her since she'd started. Naturally, she wasn't interested. Her sleek, short hair had rainbow streaks of wash-out dye in it, a tight, bright colored tanktop [breasts bound], a few necklaces, some bracelets, tight leather pants, belts, the whole get-up. Jan was a rockin', androgynous DJ. And the newest thing at Club Glo.

The club was pretty packed already, even though it was early in the club scene [only 11pm], and Jan was mixing a new dance track with an oldie but goodie song. The DJ tables were actually in the middle of the dancefloor, a bit raised up, so everyone could see the DJ eyecandy. It was a requirement to be attractive at this club. There were also male dancers on small stages, flashing lights, and male waiters/bartenders. Still, there was a mix of several genders in the crowd. Transgenders, transsexuals, gay men, gay women, straight women, bi women and men... Yep. The place was packed.

Ancelin was never much one for crowds. The noise hurt her ears, the massive numbers of unkown people scared her. But still, she wanted to see Jan. The pheasant girl walked inside and quickly hugged a wall, glancing around the room. She wasn't wearing her typical sundress tonight. Instead she was wearing a black tank top which hugged her C cups a little too tightly. Partnered with that she had on a short navy blue skirt with a few metal rings and buckles, making it apear 'army-esque'. Pared with light blue blastic bracelets and yellow-candy cane stockings, An looked like she might of semi-fit in with the crowd.

Onii on the other hand DID fit in. She was in full club-a-go-go attire and was already prowling the ground with her blue eyes. She had tagged along with Anny once she heard that she was heading to a 'mens club'. She then looked to An with a smirk, nudging her sister in the side.
"So where's your boyfriend?" She asked, earning a sharp glare from Ancelin.
"I don't know, keep an eye out for the DJ stand."

Jan had no idea they were here, well, she hadn't seen Onii since they were kids and the demon had thought her a male. She'd never been corrected on that assumption. The girl continued to spin, but put on a long song, taking a short break to lean against the side of the neon colored DJ box, sipping a drink and chatting with one of the male waiters. He'd kind of developed a crush on her, but she didn't know it, and he didn't know she wasn't a boy, anyway.

Ancelin's gaze went to the dance floor, where she spotted the turn tables. She smiled when she spotted Jani talking with another person, it was her alright, although she looked a little weird dressed up like that.. And did her breast seem smaller? Didn't matter. An quickly lifted from her place by the wall and made her way out onto the floor.

Onii, not likeing being ignored, quickly gave persuit after her younger housemate and stumbled onto the floor, all the while eyeing the men dancing.. Why where there so many men dancing with eachother? And why where they all wearing rainbow colors? Onii's eye began to twich in annoyance, she was starting to catch onto what kind of place she was in. She was about to protest against Ancelin for bringing her into a gay mens club, before she realised what exsactly they had came for.
"Jan!" Ancelin called out once she was close to the DJ stand, looking up to the girl fondly. Onii instantly let out an eye role.
"Urgh."

It took Jan a moment to realize it was someone she knew, not just another dancer trying to get her attention, or request a song. She really did look like a boy. A cute one, but a male nonetheless. Her binding was so good that she had no breasts to speak of, just flat chest. The blonde cut off her conversation and hopped down from the raised platform as another DJ came to take over. Smiling in greeting, she ran a hand through her rainbow streaked hair. "Hey, Ancelin...."

Jan had nothing against Onii. They'd gotten along when they were younger, after all. Or, during the brief moments they'd seen each other. "... 'n Onii?" Her gaze was warm. "Wasn' 'xpectin' you two!"

Onii had seen Jani around the house when she would visit, but once she had discovered that Jan was a female rather than a male, she had lost entirely all interest. She eyed the girl, she coulda fooled her. No breast to speak of, short hair. No hips. She looked like a boy, but, alas, not someone she would pray off of.
"Hey Jan.." Onii said, before her gaze went about the room. "Is this a gay bar?"

Ancelin shook her head at Onii, it served her right for following her on a whin as soon as she heard any word pertaining to the opposite sex. She wouldn't get any 'food' tonight. Ancelin turned her attention back to Jan and smiled, before she gave the taller girl a breif, friendly hug.
"I just thought I'd stop by and see you, like we discussed a while back. And Onii dicided to follow me. But I think she was hoping to pick up a guy, she didn't realise straight men wouldn't be here."

"Eh, ya migh' git lucky. There's quite a few bi boys, 'n a het or two hangin' by th' bar, Onii." Jan's smile was friendly, helpful. She seemed to be in a good mood. Liked her job. "Lyrus was 'ere th' other day, fer instance." Fingers hooking into the belt loops of her leather pants, Jan scanned the club with her gaze. "Whatcha think, Ancelin?" It was unclear whether she was talking about the club itself, Jan's job, or her appearance.

Onii took the helpful hint and excused herself, heading towards the bar. Her tail flished behind her back as her eyes continued to scan the room. The young succubus was on a mission, she just hoped she wouldn't pick up any of Jan's friends.

Ancelin looked Jan up and down, before she tilted her head and rubbed the back of her neck.
"Well, the club is how I pictured it would look, but I still can't believe you're working here. You look so alien to me dressed like that. And.. What happened to your chest?" Ancelin asked. She was quite fond of Jani's breast, she didn't like them suddenly disapearing on her.

Jan blushed a little bit, hand running through her hair as she grinned, shrugging. "Keep et, quiet, alrigh'? Tha's th' conditions fer workin' 'ere. Pays real well, I jes' gotta pretend ta be a boy." At least she was good-looking either way? The blonde rubbed at one of her bare shoulders, the one with her three birthmarks, eyes on the DJ box now. "I'm only workin' a par'shift tonigh', shoul' be off en a coupla hours."

Ancelin nodded her head slowly as she sucked the information in. Well, Ancelin was technically bisexual, seeing as the only woman she had ever been attracted to was Jan, so the image of her as a boy wasn't too hard for her to accept. She thought she was smokin' ether way. Her eyes continued to linger on Jan's torso as she spoke, and after her last sentance she suddenly snapped back to reality instead of the perverted thoughts running threw her mind.
"Oh. Are you doing anything after you get off? I know of a nice coffee shop a little ways away, we could go there if you'd like."

"Naw, I'm not doin' anythin'...." Jan seemed a bit thoughtful, unconciously moving her head and feet to the music, fingers tapping the beat against the glass of the DJ box. "Why don' ya jes' come over t'my place? Et's a short walk, 'n Neme's over et Nikki's place, anyway." Made sense to Jan. Plus, she wasn't really a crowd person either. After work she liked to go be alone and relax.

Ancelin nodded her head to that suggestion, she liked it alot better. Especially with the assumption that Onii would have picked a victim and would be gone for the night. Her eyes skimmed over to the bar, and thankfully enough Onii was already chatting up someone who wasn't wearing rainbow tights.

"That sounds great. What time do you get off? I don't want to get you in trouble by chatting you up while you're supposed to be working."

"Eh, s'alrigh'. I'm s'posed t'be bi anyway, to appeal to men 'n women. Helps th' club out." Jan yawned, ruffling her hair. "Et's almost midnigh' now, I'll be off at two." Tossing Ancelin a charming grin, she gestured for the girl to go dance or something, and pulled herself back onto the DJ platform. Time to get back to work.

Ancelin nodded her head and let Jan go back to work. She then headed over to the bar and sat down, ordering a drink. She wondered about dancing by herself and eyed around the crowd. Perhaps she'd go pester Onii for the next couple hours, save her from killing somebody. Ancelin began sipping away at her soda, idly thinking of what to do while she waited.

By 3am they were at Jan's place, the slightly sweaty blonde not bothering to turn on the lights as she padded into the kitchen, barefoot. She hated shoes and had kicked them off the moment they'd gotten inside. Opening the fridge, she rummaged around for a few drinks. A bottle of lemonade for Ancelin and a bottle of all natural beer for Jan. Yea, maybe the pheasant wasn't a fan of alcohol, but Jan liked it, to an extent.

Removing the caps with a bottle opener, she clunked them down on the counter, walking past Ancelin silently to begin removing her various gear. Off came all the belts and bracelets and necklaces. The glosticks. Finally, off came the neon green tank top, leaving the exhausted girl in just her chest wrappings and leather pants. Grabbing her bottle, Jan then collapsed on the sofa, her lanky form stretching out with a sigh of relaxation.

Ancelin stood on the carpet in her candy-stripe socks, having removed her shoes upon entering the house aswell. Ancelin took the bottle in her hands and took a sip with it, timidly looking at Jani on the couch. She felt really dizzy for some reason, and a little giddy. She figured it was just from the crowded atmosphere at the club.

The pheasant girl walked over and sat on the same couch as Jan, before she continued to stip at the lemonade. She then turned her head and looked to the blond at her side, smiling.
"You looked really cute in that outfit. I bet you get hit on a ton."

Jan had one leg stretched out on the couch, behind Ancelin's body, and the other on the floor, making room for the shorter girl. She gave the pheasant a look, brow raised, before taking a swig out of her bottle and shrugging her shoulders. "Mainly by th'guys, o'course. But sure, guess I do." If Ancelin was feeling a little giddy, it was probably because there wasn't anything non-alcoholic at that club, other than the water. And Ancelin hadn't gotten the water. "Thanks fer showin' up."

Ancelin nodded her head as a giggle followed. That was exsactly it, when Ancelin had requested 'coke' she had gotten a good dose of rum in it aswell. Ancelin had been drinking rum and cokes all night, and chugging them too. The poor girl was wasted. Her body swayed a little and her back rested against the couch, her lower back curving over Jan's leg.

"How do you fend 'em off? I git hit on aaaaaalll the time! But I never kno how to get them to leave me alone." She said, her speech was a bit slurred. She then looked down at the leg that was behind her to see what was against her butt. Once satisfied that it was Jan's leg, she took a free hand and began to gently stroke it.

"I, ah, don' really notice when people 'it on me, I guess. Nem says et ain' my strong suit." Jan had a bit to drink earlier, on top of her current beer, which she was almost done with, and was also quite tired. Therefore, her usual Ancelin-warning system wasn't quite working, and she didn't move away from the touch, just yawning instead. "Y'alrigh'...?"

Ancelin nodded her head as she set the lemonade down on a flat surface, continueing to rub the older teens legs.
"Oh yeah, I'm fine! Just a little dizzy." She said with another giggle. "Ya know though, that coke I drank at the bar sure tasted funny.." She explained, rubbing the side of her head with her free hand. Ancelin had never drank before and wasn't sure as to what to think of this feeling. But she did know that Jan looked nearly irrisistable in the dim lighting, bindings, and leather pants.

"I thin' y'migh' be drunk, Ancelin." Now done with her drink, Jan set it on the coffee table next to the lemonade and sat up a bit, long arms helping her to prop herself up, brown eyes fixed on the blue-haired girl's face. "Y'don' feel sick, do ya?" Should she take Ancelin home? Or maybe it'd be better to let the pheasant crash at her place for the night.

Ancelin looked at Jan for a few seconds before erupting into yet another giggle fit.
"Nah, I dun feel sick. Dun be crazy, 'ow could I be drunk? All I drank woz coke." She smiled, before moving her body a bit to let Jan sit up. She leened forward and ran her fingers threw Jan's hair, playing with the highlights.
"Yer hair looks so cute."

Definitely drunk. Jan was a bit tipsy herself. "... Thanks... et washes out..." Oooh, that felt good, though. Jan liked to have her hair played with, head rubbed. It happened once in a blue moon, though. "Everythin' en th' club pretty much 'as alcohol en et, Anny." God, it'd been a really long time since she'd called her Anny, hadn't it? Still, it slipped out. Probably the alcohol speaking.

An continued playing with Jan's hair. She eventually adjusted herself so that she was sitting on her knees on the side of the couch, one hand by Jan's side to hold herself up, the other running fingers along Jan's scalp.
"Ah... Maybe thas it.. What would they put in coke tho?" She slurred, leening in closer. An's heart was starting to beat faster, she could hear it pounding in her ears. She decided to blame it on the alchohol, however, and not the fact that she was alone with Jan on a couch in their apartment in the dark.

Jan pulled her knees up to her chest, resting her cheek on her arms as she enjoyed the touching, eyes shutting slightly in drowsiness. It felt gooood, and now that Ancelin's voice was getting quieter, the slurring was almost soothing. Almost like Jan's accent, which was very relaxing in general. "... Rummm..." Her face was turned toward the other girl, and she could barely feel the pheasant's breath on her cheek. This wasn't so bad. Quiet, peaceful...

An took the oppertunity of Jan pulling her legs up to move in closer to the potato woman. She then started rubbing her scalp with both hands, twisting strands of hair between her fingers, making little braids out of the colored segments.

Even though Ancelin's vision was a little shakey, she gazed at Jan's relaxed face lovingly. Weather it was the setting or the rum lowering An's inhibitions, she leened forward and kissed Jan's nose.
"Yer so beautiful..." she whispered, moving higher to kiss her forehead.

A small noise came from deep in her throat at both the kisses and Ancelin's words. She was torn. It felt good, really good, and it was warm, and she was drowsy and tipsy, and it was... Nice. Of course, things didn't work like that, and the next day, who knew how it would be? Maybe the could both just forget tonight. The blonde didn't say anything, didn't move away. She just relaxed a little, letting go of the breath she'd started to hold. What would happen, would happen.

Ancelin took Jan's lack of rebuttle as a welcome for her to go further. Her hands slid from down Jani's scalp to rest on both of the blonds cheeks. She gently rested her forehead against Jan's, and whispered quietly.
"I love you.." she then tilted her head and placed a soft kiss on Jan's mouth. Her lips tasted of the strawberry lipbalm she was wearing, although her tongue tasted of lemonade. She lingered, hoping Jani would return her show of affection.

Jan happened to like strawberry lemonade an aweful lot. She didn't respond to the words of love. She didn't really know how to, anymore, how she felt, any of that. This thing between them was way too big and complicated. Jan couldn't handle it. But... For right now... This... The buzzed, sleepy sin'aeis let her own lips move slightly against Ancelin's, a return of physical affection. A sharing of a kiss. This... Was alright. At this moment.

Ancelin parted her lips gently, trying to deepen the kiss. Her hands moved lower, to Jan's shoulders, and she squeezed them gently. A soft content moan escaped her lips as she tried to move in even closer. Ancelin was so dizzy from the alchohol she thought she could faint, and the subtle hints of Jan's scent, feel and taste didn't subside her arousal.

Their tongues touched, played, although the rest of Jan's body didn't move at all. It seemed as if she was willing to respond, but wasn't going to initiate anything herself. The blonde wasn't even trying to think anymore. She just wanted to feel for a bit. It'd been a while since she'd been able to just not overthink things. Ancelin wasn't being weird right now, and they weren't discussing love, or anything like that. This was okay.

An's hands would of went lower, but even though her mind was saturated with booze, she still remembered the last time she had even attempted to touch Jan's breast and the horrified reaction she got from it. An broke the kiss and let her two tone eyes open part-way, gazing at Jani's face.

She didn't say anything, she just stared. Enjoying the sound of Jan's breathing, the smell of her hair and skin, attempting to count her freckles, although she where way too gone to do so coherantly. She gave up once she got to five.

Jan was quiet for a long time, eyes closed, just relaxing. Almost asleep. After a few minutes she opened her eyes, brown locking on the multi-colored gaze of the other girl and she spoke in a whisper. "Wanna stay?" The night, obviously. This didn't seem like it was going to be one of those... Talking nights. Jan didn't really like to talk.

Ancelin just gave a slow nod of her head to Jan's question, before she sat back a little bit. She didn't want to leave, she honestly didn't think she could. Her balance wasn't that great yet, and to top it all off she was drunk as a skunk.
"Yeah.. Let me call Shi and tell her where I am." She said, before she sat back a little, pulling her cell phone from her pocket.

"Mmmhmm." Jan finally sat up, even though it was a bit of a struggle. Her body felt heavy, drowsy. Rubbing at her hair, she got up from the couch while Ancelin was on the phone, slowly padding from the livingroom to her own bedroom, where her futon/bed was waiting for her. The girl dropped onto the bed, not bothering with blankets as the room was warm, and simply stretched out on her back, eyes closed.

After a few moments of quiet muttering in the living room, Ancelin stumbled into the bedroom after Jan. She made a few long quick steps over towards the futon and began to slowly crawl over top of Jan.

She watched her for a few seconds and smiled, she looked so peaceful in her eyes. She then leened down and kissed Jan's jaw, while her right hand carressed the top of her scalp.
"Shi says hello." she whispered softly into the potato girls ear, before she kissed her lobe.

".... Mmmmn...." Ancelin on top of Sjajan? This was potentially a dangerous situation. Of course, the potato sin'aeis was too far gone to care/do anything about it, as was the pheasant, it seemed. "... 'Lo, Shi..." The two women must've had an interesting conversation in the livingroom. Jan turned her head to one side, resting it on her pillow as she allowed Ancelin to resume kissing her. It felt really... warm. Nice.

Ancelin let out a short and quick chuckle as Jan said hello. She let her soft kisses involve into light nibbles, moving from Jan's earlobe down her neck. Unlike Jani she wasn't exsousted, just drunk, and was starting to be under the control of her hormones rather than the toxins that where currently filtering threw her system.

An's free hand began to run down Jan's side, fingers tracing over the bindings.
"These have to be uncomfortable.." She whispered, kissing Jan's collar. "Do you want me to help you take them off?"

They were getting uncomfortable. Jan and Ancelin were obviously in very different places mentally, because without even considering anything, like the sexual implications of that statement, the blonde nodded slightly, mumbling an affirmative, eyes still closed. One simply had to find the edges of the binding, which were tucked in near Jan's ribcage and loosen it to start to unravel them. From there it was easy to remove them. Jan was smiling slightly, liking the sound of Ancelin's laughter. It was quiet, warm. As long as things remained quiet, Jan wouldn't startle.

Ancelin began picking at the sides of the clothe with her fingers, and once she found the edge she began pulling back gently. Her other arm gently slid under Jan's stomach, lefting her up so she could remove the bandages more easily. Once off, An rolled them neatly around her fingers and set them to the side, all the while staring at Jan's chest.

An's face grew red, she hadn't seen Jan's chest naked since they where small children, basically before her breast developed. An was deffinately in a different place mentally than Jan. She again leened over top of the younger potato girl and looked at her face longingly. She gently took hold of Jan's ribs and resumed kissing along her collar bone, letting out a soft bird like coo.

Jan shifted, a low sound starting in her throat at the kisses, the touching. Almost gutteral. She wasn't thinking anymore, half-asleep now. It all just felt so good. She was still that skin-hungry girl she'd always been, and it had been ages since she'd been touched for more than a second or so. Body warming beneath Ancelin's hands, her breath began to come a little faster, harder.

Ancelin had no idea that Jan was so close to slumber, and intended on taking this as far as she possibly could. Her eyes gazed upward at Jan's face, taking in her expression. Her chest burned, and felt like it was under intense pressure. That incorperated with the dizziness and underwater feeling from her head put her in a state of complete euphoria.

Her lips traveled farther and farther still, until she stopped and let her tongue stroke in a small semi-circle. All the while she kept herself aware of Jani's reaction, incase it wasn't favorable and she wanted her to stop. A soft moan rippled from An's lips. It felt so good to be so close to her.

A gasp came from the blonde at the feeling of wet heat on her skin and she felt something melt inside her as Ancelin kept going. Jan's own hands had slid up to grip her pillow, her brow creasing slightly in surprise. Still, she didn't move away, or cry out, or anything negative. She just looked a little confused, a little flustered... But it felt amazing. Oh, gods, but it did. All that Jan was at the moment was a collection of physical sensations.

An's fingers began to gently undo Jan's pants, unsnapping buttons. She then slide her fingers under the sides of her pants against Jan's hip, and began sliding them slowly down to her knees. Her lips kept working Jan's chest, kissing, biting, sucking. All the while her hot breath panting against the blond's skin.

"mmm.." An mumbled as she moved from one side of Jan's chest to the other, her blue braids falling and tickling at the girls ribs. Her ears where in exstacy from the sound escaping Jan's lips, and she tried her hardest to keep those sounds coming

And now the moans were starting and Jan's body was shifting, her fingers bunching the pillow beneath her head, gripping tightly as her breathing turned almost to panting. "Mmmm...." Arching her back slightly to press closer to the other girl, the blonde mumbled something unintelligible under her breath, all want.

"Jan.." Ancelin mumbled as she kissed down the middle of the girls sternum. She slid Jan's pants lower and lower until she managed to slide them off of her feet and toss them to the floor. Her hands then traced back up her long legs, pausing to squeeze every now and again. Ancelin then slid her body between Jan's legs and let her hands massage up and down her thighs, before her tongue started to run along her rib cage.
"You're body is so beautiful." She whispered, looking up to the teens face while her plump lips kissed Jan's navel.

Jan's eyes flickered open for the first time. Her brown gaze was dark with heat and her fingers slid from the pillow to reach for Ancelin, pulling the girl up so that their lips could meet. A moan started mid-kiss, and she pulled away slightly, so that their foreheads were touching. "Thank you." She mouthed the words more than actually saying them, then closed her eyes, giving Ancelin another long kiss.

Ancelin's face was a flush pink from all the excitement, a plush that seemed to travel all the way down her body. She closed her eyes and returned Jan's kiss passionately, her tongue twisting out to playfully flick against the other. Her arms moved upward to cradel Jan's ribs, while her hands gently caressed the girls chest. She let out a soft moan, letting her clothed body lay against Jan's naked one.

Jan's buzz had begun to fade, causing her to be more alert, more awake. She was just as aroused, but without the alcohol clouding her judgement, she could control herself. "Anny..." Her arms moved around Ancelin, fingers gripping the other girl's shirt, and she turned her head to the side, brow creased again. ".... Anny..." God, the other girl felt good against her body. Jan found her hips aching to move, to press against the blue-haired girl. Fighting it, she closed her eyes tightly. "..... Anny..."

Ancelin moaned when Jan called her name. When Jan had turned her head she had resumed kissing along her neck, leaving little bites here and there.
"Jan.." She moaned, her hands moving behind Jan's back so she could squeeze her. Even though Jan resisted thrusting upward, An still began to grind her hips against the younger girl. She was beginning to sweat slightly, overheating from arousal and too many clothes.
"..You taste so good, Jan.."

"Ah, god..." Jan felt herself flush with heat instantly and moaned. The biting, the thrusting, it was just too much for her. Overpowering. The things Ancelin was saying to her! The poor girl was losing control, quickly. "... Ancelin..." The blonde's back arched again as their hips rocked together, her words almost getting lost in her fast breathing. "... Anny, shoul' we stop...? Mayhap..." Jan groaned again, her fingers tugging at Ancelin's tight shirt. "Maybe we shoul'...."

Ancelin felt her drunken stoobur nearly clear in a second as soon as she heard Jan's words. Her eyes buldged open and she let her lips released from the younger girls neck. Her body had stiffen, but then relaxed again. Maybe she head heard her wrong? Ancelin squeezed Jan's body lovingly, before she nuzzled her nose against the blonds cheek.
"Why should we stop..? I love you.. I want to be close to you.." she whispered softly, before she rose her left hand to stroke Jan's cheek. "... I want to make you feel good.."

Jan was finding it hard to resist that. She shifted around, liking the feeling of their bodies brushing together. Still, her eyes were shut and she mumbled, still ragingly aroused. "But... wha' 'appens af'er? I'm not.... sure wha' I wan'.... 'n tha' doesn' seem fair to ya..."

Ancelin's lips formed to a frown and her eyes filled with hurt disapointment. The girl slowly sat up on her knees and hugged her arms around her stomach.
"Y.. You don't like me..?" She asked as her eyes focused on random things in the room. She then closed her eyes and lowered her head.

"I just want to be with you. I want to make you happy." She said, choking on her words. Ancelin had risen really high in her passions, and now she was taking the long fall back into reality.

"Ah... God... Anny... Don' cry..." Jan sat up, groggily, forgetting her nudity in the face of Ancelin's distress. "C'mere, baby..." The tall blonde wrapped her arms around the other girl's body, pulling her close and nuzzling her hair. "Anny... I... I jes' don' wanna mislead 'r hurt ya. I... like ya... I do." Jan shook her head slowly. "Or we woul'n be en this situation."

Ancelin kept her eyes closed as her body laid against Jan's chest. She didn't resist the girls embrace, but she was afraid to return it. Instead she just nuzzled her cheek against the taller girls chest, letting her tears get rubbed off of her cheeks.
"Then.. why? Why don't you want to be with me?.." Ancelin asked, feeling like an ignorant child for having to ask such a question.

"I... just don't understand.."

"Wha' do ya mean, 'be with ya'?" Jan's voice was low, soothing, and her hands idly stroked Ancelin's body, seeking to calm her.

"... To be your lover..." Ancelin answered softly, bluntly. Her eyes opened partway but didn't really focus on anything. Before her arms unlaced from her stomach and gently held onto the arm closest to her chest.

"Ah, Anny..." Could Jan do that? Become Ancelin's lover? Lovers weren't the same things as girlfriends were. Jan couldn't be her girlfriend, not right now. She had too much going on. She was discovering too much. It wouldn't be fair to promise anything more than that. Closing her eyes, Jan sighed, breathing in the scent of Ancelin's hair. It was nice. Lyrus had a lot of lovers, didn't he? There was nothing wrong with that. "... Mayhap... mayhap we could be tha'..."

Ancelin was naive when it came to the things Lyrus and Onii did. Having multiple partners just for sex. Lovers and girlfriends where exsactly the same in her mind. She looked up towards the younger Sin above her, and rested her forehead against her chin.
"If you would be mine, I'd do everything in my power to make you the happiest woman alive, Jani.."

"Anny... I... Don' say things like tha' righ' now, alrigh'? I'm not ready fer tha'.... Just... slow..." Jan shook her head. "I need t'be yer frien', first. We've got t'regain tha'. Ef y'wanna be friends 'n lovers, I migh' be able t'handle et. I canna commit righ' now." The blonde was probably the most honest of the sin'aeis. Her brown eyes met the other girls. "I want ya a lot righ' now, but I can't do et ef we're not on th' same page 'bout et."

Ancelin nodded her head slowly and remained silent for a few minutes, running those words threw her head. She took a deep sigh and nodded again before moving out of the potato girls arms. She slowly moved to the edge of the futon, her back to Jan, while she fiddled with her hands slowly.
"I think I understand.." She finally said, not looking back. She then stood and looked down to Jan, before rubbing her eyes.

"I can wait, then.. If we.. did that right now, I'd get too attached.. I'm gonna go sleep on the couch instead, tonight.. If that's okay?" she didn't trust herself to sleep in the same bed as Jan. Not with how she felt.

".... Ancelin..." Jan felt like she was going to cry. Had she ever cried in front of the other girl? No. Never. Except for that very last fight when they were kids. But now she could feel the tears welling up at Anny's words and she nodded mutely. "Wha'ever ya wan'." Jan pulled the blankets up over her body, now self-concious and a little ashamed about her lack of clothing.

Ancelin bit down on her lip as her eyes looked at the bed. They darted upward towards Jani, over to the side, and back again.
"I'm sorry.." she said, before she turned around and walked back into the living room. She laid down on the couch, not even caring if she had a blanket or not. She didn't think she could sleep quite yet, but at least it would give her a chance to cry and keep it hidden from Jani.

Jan simply laid back down and turned over, really glad that Neme wasn't home tonight. A few quiet moments of crying later and the already exhausted girl fell asleep. She'd deal with all this in the morning, sober.

Ancelin groaned and went to roll over, used to sleeping in a queen sized bed. Too bad for her she was sleeping on a small sized couch. BAM! There she went, falling onto the floor.
"Ooooooow my heeeeead." Ancelin groaned as she laid on the floor grasping her forehead. Why was it hurting so badly? Why was she on the floor? Why was this carpet a different color than hers?

It was then Ancelin realised just where she was, she was still at Jan's apartment. An felt a sudden burning in her chest when she remembered what all had happened last night. The pheasant girl quickly sat up, managing to knock her head on the coffee table.
"!!" An let out a lound grunt of pain, and then fully sat up rubbing her head. She glanced around the room, had Jan woken up yet?

No, she hadn't. The last week had been a long, hard one for the blonde, and she was catching up on sleep. In fact, she'd probably sleep until someone woke her. Namely, Ancelin. The tall girl was sleeping on her stomach, stretched out, still nude. The blanket, luckily, covered everything from the waist down, and she clutched one of her pillows tightly, face buried in it. Jan had exhausted herself, with the working, the arousal, the drinking, and then the crying until she fell asleep.

Ancelin had slowly made her way to Jani's door to see the blond still asleep. She frowned, she felt terrible for what she did the night before. And she was bound to do something, no matter how small, to make it up to her...

And that was make breakfast. Ancelin made her way into the kitchen to assess the situation, and see what all her options where for breakfast foods.

Jan woke up, groaning a bit and rubbing her head. She felt a little sick. Sad, too, though it took her a moment to remember why. Kicking off the blankets, she got to her feet and headed into the small bathroom attached to her room to wash her face and brush her teeth. That done, the tall blonde put on underwear, some shorts, and a tank top. After a moments pause, she also grabbed one of her smallest t-shirts and a pair of pajama pants from when she was a kid, for Ancelin. They should be the right height for the shorter girl. And more comfortable.

Jan eased open her door and headed down the hall almost timidly, an expressionless look on her face as she carried the folded up garments. Where was Ancelin...? In the... Kitchen? Jan blinked.

If Jan peered inside to see An, she would of seen a bottle of asprin, a half empty glass of water, some egg shells, a package of cheese, and potato peelings out on the counter. An was currently standing in front of the stove, working a frying pan.

Her hips swayed from side to side as she muttered, apparently mouthing a song that she had stuck in her head. She didn't even notice the other girl behind her, she was too preoccupied not burning the food.

It was adorable. Without thinking, Jan set the clothing on the counter and moved up behind Ancelin, silently. Wrapping her arms around the other girl's waist, she hugged her from behind, murmuring against her hair. "G'mornin', miss. Wha' do ya thin' yer doin' en my kitchen?" Ancelin had really thought of a clever way to cheer the blonde up.

Ancelin jumped a little with the sudden contact, but when she realised it was Jani she relaxed. Somehow feeling the blonde against her body soothed the burning in her chest. She turned her head and smiled, before holding up the frying pan.

"I'm makin you breakfast. It might not be very pretty, but I promise it'll taste good." She said, showing Jan a rather unnatractive omellete. The blue haired girl then scooped the egg dish from the frying pan and put it on a plate, which was sitting next to a bowl full of hash browns.

"... Thank ya..." Jan took the food, and grabbed some juice from the fridge, and headed for the table, sitting down and starting to eat without hesitation. Jan was the superior chef of the two of them, but it still tasted good, and was thoughtful. "I brough' ya some clothes. 'N case y'wanted t'take a shower 'r summat...." Tossing the blue-haired girl a grin, she pointed toward her bedroom with her fork. "There's a bathroom en m'room, ef y'wanna use et."

Ancelin looked at the clothes and nodded. That sounded like a good idea. An felt dirty, and well.. everyone knew how much An didn't like being dirty.
"Thank you." She said softly before she picked up the clothes, eyeing them.

"I'll try not to take too long." She said before she went into the living room to grab her purse. With that in hand (and toothbrush inside) she walked off towards Jani's bedroom, and then entering the shower. Showers where always the place Ancelin could best clear her mind, and she needed to do just that. Okay, maybe this was gonna be a long shower.

Jan took her time eating, then cleaning her dishes, and then picking up the clothing and bottles from the night before. Afterwards, she returned the favor to Ancelin and made the other girl breakfast. Waffles, eggs, bacon, and sausage. She'd estimated that Ancelin would take an hour in the shower, so the food would still be hot when the pheasant was ready to eat.

When Ancelin finally emerged from the shower she was towling off her long blue hair. It now currently went to her mid-back when it wasn't braided and hanging free. The clothes Jan had given her where nearly a perfect fit, just tight in the chest.

She walked into the living room and glanced around, sniffing the air. Something smelt good.
"Jan?"

"Hey, Anny. Take a seat." Jan gestured to the table, setting down the place and utensils before getting the girl some orange juice to drink. It wasn't until she brought the glass back to the table that she froze, staring at Ancelin. She hadn't seen her hair down since they'd become kids. It was gorgeous. A rich blue and long. Jan shook her head, hard, then smiled, pulling out the chair for the other girl. "Go on 'n eat, alrigh'?"

Ancelin blushed a little when she saw the food. She didn't realise Jan could cook, and relaised it was probably silly of her to cook someone who was perfectly cabable a meal of lesser quality. Still, she sat down and took in a deep breath threw her nostrils. Her mouth watered.
"Thank you, Jan. It smells great." She said, before taking a bite of one of the waffles. It tasted great too.

"Yer welcome... So..." Jan sat in the chair across from An, running her long fingers through her blonde hair as she thought. "Do ya wanna talk 'bout last nigh', 'r shoul' we jes fergit 'bout et?"

Ancelin swallowed as Jan asked her question. She then began cuting the susage, thinking it over.
"Well.. I guess we should talk about it so that it wont leave the other wondering about eachothers feelings." She said, before sticking a peice of sausage in her mouth. She chewed for a few moments and then swallowed, before turning her attention to Jan.

"How DO you feel about me?"

Jan's smile was sad as she watched Ancelin. "I loved ya so much, Anny, 'n all y'did was 'urt me." The blonde really didn't know if she could ever get over that and move on with their relationship. "I love ya. I always 'ave, 'n always will. I jes' don' know ef I kin 'andle a relationship. I can't righ' now, I know tha'."

Ancelin's expression grew sorrowful as she stared down at the plate. She regretted nothing more than the way she treated Jan when they where children. Ancelin took in a deep breath, trying to remain calm, before she began overturning a peice of bacon with her fork.
"I'm so sorry Jani.. When we where little.. I didn't realise you felt that way. I didn't know any better.. And when we got in that fight, I was just so jealous. I never meant to hurt you.. I was stupid and naive for not being able to see the way you felt about me."

"I can't be anyone's girlfrien' righ' now, Anny. Not even yers." Jan shook her head, brow creasing. "I'm too messed up en my head, yanno?" She understood that Ancelin was sorry, but it didn't change things, and Jan had a lot she needed to work out with herself before she could be in a relationship.

An shook her head, overturning the bacon again.
"That's fine. If I had to, I'd wait until the day I died to get you to love me like you once did." She said, before she finally picked up the peice of bacon and stuck it in her mouth, taking a quick bite.

Jan didn't exactly know what to say to that, and so said nothing, just nodding and drinking her own glass of juice. "So, I'll see ya 'round? Yer still welcome over 'n stuff."

An bite by bite consumed the strip of bacon, chewing slowly, and then swallowing. She nodded her head and smiled, before she looked back over to the other girl.
"Yeah, I'd like that. I think I might have found a nice place near by. I just gotta secure my job and do the paper work, and I'll be set." She said, before downing another big bite of the waffle. She covered her mouth as she chewed, so she could still speak without being too rude.

"I 'ound a 'ob ah seh peh sore S'eve worhs aht."

Ugh. Steve. Jan didn't like Steve. Still, she just frowned and didn't say anything, nodding her head. "I see." Jan rubbed at the back of her head, then stood. "I've gotta run some erran's fer Neme. Y'kin stick 'round 'ere long as y'like. She won' be back 'til tonigh', so feel free." Jan smiled. "Y'got my number, call me if ya need anythin'."

Ancelin blinked as Jan got up and said she had to go. She then looked down at the food. She really wanted to finish it before she left, so she nodded. She swallowed and looked up to Jan, before her body and her expression relaxed.
"Same to you. Don't be a stranger, alright? I really miss talking with you."

"... Alrigh'. Bye, Ancelin." With that, Jan slipped on her flipflops from by the door, and disappeared outside.
