FE6: Fir, Older!Karel, and Echidna [I think that's how you spell it...].
I have not played FE6, truthfully, but I like the personalities and design of Echidna and Fir. XD
FE7: Guy, Karel, Erk, Nino, and... Legault. XD
Weird how they're either mages or guys with long hair... hmm...
FE8: Lute for the win. I also like Ephraim, Gerik, and Joshua with his funny hat.
FE9: Ilyana, Soren, Nephenee, Marcia, Rolf, and TIBARN. heart
FE10: Volug, I guess. XD [Never played it... .___.]

I based it on who I like using when I play the games because they are very useful, well for me anyway.

My favorites of the series are...
From FE 7, it's a tie. I can't choose between Hector and Eliwood. I just can't.
From FE 6 (what I've played of it), my favorite is Roy.
FE 8, I'd say my favorite is probably Joshua.
I have a thing for redheads...

Haar all the way. The lazy general turned lazy delivery boy is a lot of fun to play as, and its a lot of fun to listen to him complain, too.
