Startled by the voice, Selene looked up suddenly into a face like her own only slightly paler. She stared wide eyed feeling the connection between them instantly.
"I... uh..." was all her mouth could manage.

As soon as the young woman turned around, her jaw dropped, and she was speechless. 'This has got to be a dream.' Alex thought to herself as she dropped to her knees, and started to cry silently.
Numerous moments later, Alex looked up, her face still showing the evidence of her tears. She slowly got up and sat down on the bench next to her long-dead sister.
"Long time no see, Selene." she said in a voice just above a whisper, a hesitant smile on her face.

Selene watched as the lady that shared her face feeling the same but not knowing why. Even more strange is when the lady spoke her name.
"How do you know my name." Selene paused, "I feel as though i know you but yet i do not know how."
Selene mind raced and she looked down to see the piece of paper. "Are you of the this family?" she asked handing over the paper.

Alex immediately took the paper but didn't look at it. 'She doesn't remember me.' she thought sadly, her emotions showing clearly onto her face. 'After all this time, she doesn't remember me.' Inside her mind, she was crying.
"You really don't remember me, do you?" she said aloud. After a moment, she finally looked at the piece of paper, and saw their last name there.
"Yes, I am of this family." Alex replied, the had a short debate on weather or not she should reveal their relationship. "And so are you." she finished, deciding to tell her after all.

"I know that this is the family I was born into, but then I don't know them or," Selene paused, "you. All I know is what Gamsi has told me. She said in this city was my past, my family, and my future" Selene smiled weakly hating to see this new found family member in pain.
Digging around in the bag she had been carrying she offered he new found family a handkerchief.

Alex took the handkerchief, and dabbed at her eyes. She then called upon the calm from her plant friends to regain her composure and to steady her emotions. And while doing so, her plant friends offered her their unwavering support in way of thoughts and feelings.
A minute later, she looked at Selene and smiled. "You mean you lived with Gamsi, the famous healer?" she asked, surprised.

A soft smile crept across Selene's face. "Yes" she said after a moment of recollection. "She was the first thing I remember. When I awoke she said i had been sick and now was to stay with her. She was my teacher and friend. She died leavening me but this name and instructions to find my family in the city"
Selene looked at the distraught face of the girl. A feeling of guilt crept in on her. "I'm sorry i don't remember you." She placed a hand on top of the girls feeling a power full force shot threw her.

Alex thought a moment on what Selene had said. Selene had been sick 13 years ago. But she never did see her die. Her mind raced back in time to the day she last saw her twin.
Alex, 10 years old, stood and watched as her mother carried Selene in a blanket, wrapped up tight. Selene was asleep, but you could see that she still suffered thru the high fever and convulsions. Every few minutes, Selene winced in pain, and their mother would try, unsuccessfully, to soothe her eldest twin.
'Mama, where are you taking her?' Alex asked.
'To the healer's place.' Alaine responded. 'To make sure she gets better.'
Alex then held tight to her mother's dress. 'I wanna go too. I don't wanna leave her!' she said sadly but firmly.
Eric took his youngest twin, pulled her off his wife's dress, and pulled her aside. 'You can't go, darling.' he told her. 'We don't want you to catch what she has. And besides, you have your lessons today. We don't want you to miss them.'
'Don't worry, Alexandra.' her mother said to her now crying daughter. 'When we come back, Selene will be all better. We promise.'
So Alex, tears in her eyes, watched as the three of them left the house, not knowing that would be the last time she saw her twin for 13 years.
Coming out of her memory, Alex felt Selene place her hand on hers, and felt the jolt of energy rush thru her. And seeing her twin's face, the same happened to her as well.
Alex let out a grin and a laugh and pulled her sister to her feet. "Come, I want to show you some photographs." she said, leading Selene to the house, hands joined tightly.

Selene smiled and followed. "Um. Pardon me for asking but... what is your name?" the moment she asked she felt rather silly asking it.

Alex stopped for a moment and turned toward Selene. She smiled when she said "I guess you wouldn't remember. My name is Alexandra. But everyone just calls me Alex. Shorter and easier to remember than the more formal Alexandra."
As she started walking again she continued. "That is, everyone but Mom and Dad call me Alex. Especially when I got in trouble. 'Alexandra Michelle Soreno!' she said, mimiking her father.

Mei Mahou Alyssa looked at the woman and smiled. She was suspicious as to why the stranger had put all the papers away hastily. Calib came over, wondering what in the world his sister was up to now. "Hi! I'm Alyssa, and this is Cal, er Calib. I was wondering if you might happen to know a Fire guru... or something like that." Calib had his doubts at asking a total stranger, but his sister had whispered in his ear earlier that this stranger was trustworthy. "Good Morning Miss Alyssa, Master Calib." Marra gave a polite inclination of her head, a bit relieved. The would not have asked about a Fire Guru if they were suspicious of her work, unledd they wanted her greenhouse burnt down, and she doubted that. Fire Guru?" Marra repeated the words. "I'm sorry, I don't. I'm a visitor here, and I don't see the Gurus much if at all." Marra thought for a moment before smiling a bit inwardly. She may not know the Gurus, but that didn't mean she didn't know anything about them. She prided herself on her research, and after her time here, she could probably be a tour guide for this city. She bet she knew things the Elementals didn't. "I can point you in the right direction though, if you'd like." Marra reached into her satchel, pulling out a blank piece of paper and a charcoal stick, making a rough map and circling several sections. "You'll most likely find them here, here, or here." She illustrated each place with a tap before handing the paper over to Alyssa. "I hope that's helpful."
((Mei, I'll be out for the day until late evening EST. Feel free to move your characters on if you'd like.))

Will sighed as he looked up at the sky again to make sure his merlin stayed up there. It shrieked so I could find him and then swirled off in another direction. Will returned his gaze to the town. He looked at all the buildings around and just picked one to enter. Not going to get anywhere just standing around. He walked over to the doors and went inside.

Kamikaze Pixie Alex stopped for a moment and turned toward Selene.
Selene laughed at her sisters joke. Earlier when she and Alex touched hands she saw a fleeting image of them as children being torn apart.
While her sister talked on the way to her home Selene thought. Mom...dad... these words meant little to her. Gamsi always mad it perfectly plain during Selene's child hood that she was not her mother.
Deep in thought Selene didn't notice her sister stopping in front of a rather cute house.

Will looked around. The place looked like a resteraunt-bar styled place. Everyone seemed a little relaxed but he felt uneasy in a new place. He strolled up to the bar and sat on a stool. He looked at the bartender, "An ale please. Nothing particular." Will watched the bartender grab a glass and pour an ale that looked cheap. Nightbane didn't mind, he was just thirsty.
The bartender put the glass in front of him, "4.85 please." Nightbane fished in his pocket until he found some change. She took it and walked away as he sipped his ale.

When Alex reached her house, she opened the door and turned to her sister.
"Welcome to my home. And," she added, "your home, if you'd like to stay with me." She ushered Selene inside and to the living room.
"Have a seat." she offered. "But be careful of the couch. it's a bit worn down." Alex then went to a closet in the next room, and grabbed a few photo albums and brought them back in with her.
"Would you like to take a look at these while I finish up the dishes? Or shall I stay with you while you look at them?" she asked her sister.
