He looked at the excited people around him, what was he getting himself into?
*Alright, let's go. And we're heading west, into the woods.*
He began walking, saying nothing about the pace. He was walking slow enough to allow everyone to keep up, though. As he walked, he spoke to Shaydra.
*We're going to the outpost to get away from the mage, it's the closest place that's safe. Anyway, I need to meet someone there, I have a few things to arrange.*
With that, he was silent. He wasn't one to talk much on the march.

Shaydra nodded but kept on staring straight ahead. She had expected something like that. She also needed to do something in the town. Something important.
She sauntered on, keeping up easily with Sigilos in the lead, though she knew he did it only so her and the others could keep up with him.

Lex walked behins, happily. She was so excited to go on an adventure! Her wholw life had been just about surviving, now, its about surviving but its fun! She nieghed somewhat quietly, knowing Siglos would get mad if they drew attention.

Shaydra kept on sauntering on, just looking around alertly. Suddenly, she saw a shadow flit between the trees. She kept her eyes on that spot, but the shadow had dissapeared. She quickened her pace, straying ahead of Sigilos.
Then she noticed that the forest had stopped making noise. Only the solitary wind rustled the leaves. "There's something following us," Shaydra said. Her voice sounded loud in the forest silence.

Lex stopped and morphed quietly into a tiger, a huge tiger. Her bengal tiger form was her favorite, it was the fastest and strongest and had the sharpest teeth. She flattened her ears and bared her teeth, ready.

A small monkey jumped out of the branches, landing on Sigilos and sitting on his shoulder.
*Hello, Momo. This means we're almost there, a few more moments and you'll see the outpost when we get to the ridge.*
True to his word, a minute later, they came to a large ridge, a wall of logs and stone surrounding a few buildings at the top of the cliff.
*From here, it's up. Anyone here that can't fly? If so, then hang on to my tail.*
He Shifted his claws, making them harder and longer. He stepped close to the cliff face, and dug his claws into the stone, waiting for anyone to grab on.

Lex stayed ready, just in case. She then morphed into a hawk and wait for further instructions. She circled the group below her and eyed them, waiting.

Shaydra loped next to Sigilos and looked sideways at Luxran and Zinc, sizing them up. She could carry one of them if she had to, but she'd rather go by herself.
She directed her gaze to the top of the cliff. She was hoping to meet someone there, and she also had to talk to a certain person. Hopefully they would be there when night fell.

Shaydra snorted. "You people are so loud! Zinc, pipe down." She lifted her wings, and with one wing beat became airborne. She drifted leisurely up the side of the cliff, circling until she spotted a ledge a little distance away from the town.
Scrunching up her wings, she thudded down onto it, making the ledge tremble and crumble. "Come on, Sigilos," she said, scaling the rest of the cliff upwards.
