I'm having trouble figuring out the formula for accuracy mods. I'm not sure if it's just saying 'Yep... the strength mod up there is all I got....' or something.... For example....
Melee Attack Strength Mod: 1 Accuracy Mod: 1 [Should this be just equal to strength mod plus Zanjutsu mod?] Zanjutsu Mod: Total: 1

The basic formula for let's say a one-handed zanpakutou, is d20 + Base + StrMod + Zanjutsu Skill Bonus
Example: Lvl: 1 Str: 12 Your Str Mod is 1.
Zanjutsu Skill level: 10 Your Skill Bonus is 2.
Thus, your formula would have to be d20 + 1(base) + 1(StrMod) + 2(SkillMod)
Or basically d20 + 4.
If you have a two-handed zanpakutou, it'd become d20 + 1(base) + 2(2xStrMod) + 2(SkillMod)
Or basically d20 + 5.

Fina Xanth I'm having trouble figuring out the formula for accuracy mods.
The moderators work like this.
Say you have an 18 Str.
Your Str modifier should be 4.
So, in Melee Attack, your modifier for Str would be 4.
Melee Attack Strength Mod: 4
Accuracy Mod is determined by level, and number of attacks you have. So at level 1, you have a 1 accuracy. At level 6, your accuracy becomes 6/1. This signifies you have two attacks, and the accuracy bonus for your first attack is 6, while the accuracy bonus for your second attack is 1.
Accuracy Mod: 1
Zanjutsu Mod accounts for when you have ranks in the Zanjutsu skill modifier (every 10 ranks = 2 modifier. So at 20 ranks, you'd have a modifier of 4, etc)
Zanjutsu Mod: 0
So, keeping these numbers in mind, the total for your attack wouldn be
Melee Attack Strength Mod: 4 Accuracy Mod: 1 Zanjutsu Mod: 0 Total: 5
And when you roll your dice to hit someone, the roll would be 1d20+5.
Example: 1d20 = 13 13+5 = 18. Your total roll to hit someone is 18.
Hope that made a little more sense.

Actually, I guessed that the number for the level was the base after the first explanation by Shunketsu, but I didn't know how to add up for the accuracy of the multiple attacks. So it did straighten out another question I had. Thank you ^_^
Edit: On a side note, I've been holding back a question because i've simply been looking up information on Wikipedia as well, and have seen that there are Melee Zanpaktou types, and then there are Kidou types, and then there are element based types, such as the ice ones and whatnot. My question is this.... since i've done what I know will be my last alteration of my profile for this... Would it be allowed to have a 'Melee/Kidou' type? Instead of just one or the other? Figured I should check to make sure those two types aren't strictly seperate types before going and RPing only to find out i've done somethign that isn't allowed. It was 'Melee' before the change.

Yo. Newbie here. I've had a chance to review a good portion of the information for this guild, so I'm fairly confident in building a shinigami. My question is for a ryoka, however. It appears to me that, unless you're building a quincy or bounto (who's systems aren't finished?), there is no specific system up for it. Does that mean we have to, pretty much, design our own for building a ryoka without specific rules already attributed or built?
I do understand that anything created would have to be approved. I see no problem there. I might have to take a few days to study how you build technique requirements.
Also. What is the traditional shinigami garb called? I've seen at least two or three different references to it's name...

Well by Melee, I think they just mean like a physical shikai like Madarame's and a kido type shikai like Yumichika's. I can't answer this question very well, you'll have to wait for Dischord's reply, but I think you can get a good idea with those examples. RufusRex Yo. Newbie here. There is currently 0 players roleplaying there simply because there aren't many ryokas due to the fact that the system is not done. And until Kenkaru decides to work on the system I don't think Ryokas will be useable. And your question is answered above me.

Thanks for the answer on the shihakushÅ.
Ah. So there is going to be a more extensive ryoka system. Sounds fun. I'll keep at the ready for that. Thanks.

I'm a bit confused, I'm trying to make a Quincy, but it says technical stats are basically set at 8, and then when i look at starting stats for quincy, its this Staring Status: Every character have the following stats no matter their clan, race or ability. To those basics stats you will distribute 40 extra points. for example if you add 2 points to strength then you will have a strength total of 10 and 38 points left. All character starts with 4 + intelligence modifier X 4 Skill points. Example: Le say you have an intelligence modifier of 12 that's a +1 modifier. 4 + 1 = 5 X 4 = 20. Meaning you have 20 skill points to distribute along your four combat skill. Te following are the basic stats that you start with before distributing your points. Staring Stats: * Hp: 10 + vitality modifier. * Rp: 20+ reiatsu modifier. * Strength: 8 * Agility: 8 * Vitality: 8 * Awareness: 8 * Intelligence: 8 * Reiatsu: 8 * Dodge Bonus: 10 * All Skills in 0. And i read a couple of the questions above, am i not supposed to make a quincy/ryoka yet?
EDIT:Okay, so I'm just wondering, just because in the anime quincie's use bows, can mine not use swords? Because i was looking for a suitable picture and one popped up and it showed swords, can i use both? only one? only bows?
EDIT2: So, I read a little more and i realized i made a mistake, sorry, my question about stats is gone, but now....can i make a quincy/ryoka?
edit3: i just kinda realized i can distribute about 20 points -.- wow im really stupid, but i still need to know if i can make a quincy or not before i continue D:

Because of what Quincy are, exactly, they can only use their spiritual power with bows. Shinigami/Arrancar/Vizard do the sword. Just like how Bount had their dolls, things are different.
Until Quincy is finished, there's no real way for you to play them, I apologize. The system will be finished as soon as the guild captain finds the time. Cardia_123 why is the academy locked? Please read through some of the past role-plays, and you'll see that no one can access the academy right now, as it's closed due to Seireitei recently being under siege, and the teachers being busy with the defense of Soul Society in general. You can only role-play in the threads that are open, presently.

What you can do, right now, is go to the 4th Division sector (Inside the Inner Seireitei) and chat it up/fight it up/etc...
I don't think I've seen a quincy use anything other than it's own energy to create an arrow...so I'm going to leave this one up to Dischord-domo.
