"Please! Before you go... could you possibly pass some magic knowlage down to me? An extra spell perhaps, if you by chance had one on you... And also, which underground bunker is it in? The ruined city? or the actual Coastal city??"

Without answering any more questions, she vanishes, staring at the city on the coast. If what she said was accurate, the military complex underneath it will soon be overrun, as will the rest of the city.
What is your course of action?

You have some hassle getting into the city, but not too much; the city may be on high alert, but the demons have no known way of changing their appearance, so it's easy to tell you aren't hostiles.
And so you are left with the whole wide city before you. All you know about the complex is that it is underground, and likely a restricted area. The streets are thick with guards and soldiers, and archers line the walls.
As for interesting features, you see a few. Two wizard towers, one large and likely a community and one small and likely private; the warehouse district on the docks appears to have been commandeered for barracksing the extra troops, and the harbor is thick with warships; a large palace slightly off of the center of the city; a group of townspeople apparantly being trained in basic milita tactics; and a lively entertainment district bustling with offduty troops and nervous townspeople.

"The palace would be a good place to start our search, they would have any records of this bunker and how to get into it there."

Perhaps we should claim we have been sent as reinforcements to the underground facility and ask for directions. In this chaos I doubt they will think twice about it.

"Well lets try just getting in ther first without lying or speaking to anyone, but if someone asks, then yes we can use that excuse! But quickly, lest we have demons on our asses the whole time!"
Gerbo said as he continued to run for the palace.

You arrive at the palace to find it, like every other area of importance, heavily guarded. You don't think you'll need to ask around for records of the bunker, as you see six large rectangular trap doors on the ground. Two of them are open and have troops moving in and out from the ground, and the other four are shut.
Your chances of being able to sneak in unnoticed with everybody so on edge are rather slim. Further into the complex, behind the first two trap doors that are opened, a man dressed in mage's robes is seen arguing with a soldier wearing a plumed helmet, ornate armor, and a cape. The men are walking and moving towards the front of the palace complex where you are, and as they pass soldiers by the soldiers stop to salute the officer.
Even further beyond them you see a bank of two dozen ballistae being assembled by a team of engineers, and a team of crossbowmen checking their equipment.

"Sir Mage!"
Gerbo screamed running towards the important looking people.
"Which one of you are in charge here? I have DIRE news about your fortress here and its destruction! We have travled far form the world above the water and have spoken with one who weaves the destinies of mortals with the fabric of time!"

"Agreed"
Regal said whispering back to Firu.
"Let the fast talking gnome baffle them until they give us the airship. If not, in the chaos of trying to arrest him, if that be the case, we can sneak in without them noticing..."

The mage, who seems to be at wit's end already from arguing with the soldier, gives Gerbo a confused and exasperated look.
"I have no idea about anything that you just said, and I don't have the time to figure any of it out. As for the fortress, ask Jerrar here how impregnable it is!" He throws up his hands in frustration and glares at the soldier.
"That is exactly right, and I refuse to release the crystal to you and your arcane lackeys! Security for this town and all of its assets are my responsibility, and I will not play this petty game of bureaucratic turf war with you!"
With that the mage fumes back up, opens his mouth as if to speak, but instead storms off towards the exit. He attempts to shove his way past Firu and Regal, spitting the words "arrogant twit" in reference to the soldier, Jerrar.
Jerrar watches him as he storms off, then takes stock of Gerbo.
"Another mage, eh? You lot are quite excitable, it seems."
