Hmm... Dieing no, being cleared out of nonactive, yes.. From my view I see no commune between the GMs/RPers and the RPers till afterwords as the main prob.. Yoda said he has noted it and what not.. Its not only for the GMs to fix. The RPers can also lend a hand in communacating... I'm not much when it comes to guilds on here, but I've lead a few else where... With out informing the RPers of whats going on, its causeing noting to be going on.. I think that if (BIG IF) once a week a story line update could be sent to all active members it would help and also rekindel intrist in whats taking place. Yes this is a larg task, I know, that is why I've came to this... You will need 5 active guild members (or more) for this... Have Person 1 type the update. Person 1 sends it too Person 2, 3, 4, and 5. From there each of the 5 have a assigned groupe of people to send to. The 5 go about there duties once a week and all who recive it reply with breaf questions on more confusing points. With there reply they also state Active or Inactive so you always have a current up to date guild roster. This will also help with creating story lines by knowing who is still willing to pretisapate or not.
Also I think a thred or what ever its called should be made for Q and A between the GMs/RPers and RPers. This will be keept clean of nonsence such as... (Exampel) "Q: How many hits can the blue monkey take off the blue water bong? *Dose the blue bong smoking blue monkey dance!*" ect.. ect... ect...
But hay this is just what I think about it...
Also I'm active I just chose not to post Id like to wait till I get an instructor befor I really start into it..
I know this is off topic but I couldnt think of a better place or time to sujest this then now, when peple are speaking of it.. Also I figger this will be seen sooner here.

I also have a suggestion; a mule is created for the NJT and add every member from the memberlist to the friendslist of the mule, then use the friends@gaia option to mail everyone on your friends list with the updates... ninja

Kyia_Kerosevi I also have a suggestion; a mule is created for the NJT and add every member from the memberlist to the friendslist of the mule, then use the friends@gaia option to mail everyone on your friends list with the updates... ninja that would work but.. it would be alot to ask of one person. the mule would have to be on a lot and if he wasnt no update would be sent..the reason i said 5 at the least is so there is a backup.. maybe a mule as a back up for all 5 (or however many would be slected)?

I think what Kai was saying was that the mule account would bellong to all of the crew members, they would all have it's username and password so that they can all access it. that way when any new information is thought up it can be given straight to the members by any one of the crew.
That makes sense to me, it means that only 1 person needs to send 1 pm rather than 5 sending 140 between them.

If you don't, then are you truely smart enough to be in the guild? Do we really want people like that rping with us? No offense meant there, but seriously... why would you not read the updates thread?

The simple fact is the GM/RPs are not on enough for this...That is why I suggested multiple accounts in what was origanely said... I suggest, that maybe finding the time zones witch people live and taking one from each and assign them to send the update to people in there time zones.. If you have the GM/RPs all conspiering Id think to be working on the next update while sending the current one... The over all is that no matter if its one or five accounts doing this, they will have to be relieabl.. That is even a diffaculty for the GM/RPs cause not all can go as needed in a day to finish it right... Thats the trouble I've not been able to work out..

I agree with Viola.... you don't check the updates... I don't want you here. It's there for a reason. If an update is coming grandfather puts it there. We haven't even gotten past the last update so why are we doing this?

to nova: we're discussing this because... erm... gimme a sec lemme check the posts...
ah, its because darsh thinks theres not enough comunication between mods and members, something I agree with btu its not updates that I think need conveying better. updates are fine. I just joined with the updates ideas because 1. someof the ideas being said we're idiotic and some werent being understood and 2. because I was bored.
the thing that needs comuning better, imo is the details of whats happening to the characters themselves, and, in some cases, why things are happening. I also think that members should be more involved about the future developments but thats totally just because I like being the centre of attention in rps... as you probably noticed.
