Ichigo shrugged a shoulder. "I suppose anything older than me is old, since it's older than me," she rambled, taking another long drag. It was almost scary how content she looked.

"Well, I'm definitely older than you," the man mumbled through his cigarette, exhaling smoke around it. "You gonna disappear on me now because of that fact?" Daisuke asked, watching her with both eyes arched.

She looked to him, laughing softly. "Idiot. Tell me." She took a final drag off her cigarette, dropping it to the floor so she could stomp it out.

"I'm twenty-eight," he sighed around the cigarette, exhaling more smoke as he did. Daisuke shook his head. "I never really felt that old until now. Not that I think I'm very old or anything," the man rambled. "But you're just a kid. Of course..." he trailed off, looking to her with a chuckle. "You look much older, and if you keep smoking, it'll get worse."

Ichigo glared at him, kicking at him with one of her white boots. "Watch it, old man," she growled, crossing her arms over her chest. Did she really look that much older than she was?

"I bet you smoke a whole bunch, right?" he laughed, taking the cigarette from his mouth and letting it fall to the ground. "By the time you're my age, you'll look about fifty." Daisuke stomped at the cigarette a few times before turning his attention to her. "But you really know that I'm kidding, right?" the man went on more seriously.

Ichigo made a face, about to start whining when he told her that he was kidding. She sighed, shaking her head before punching his upper arm with force. "Don't do that. It's mean to tease girls."

"Maybe I wasn't taught anything like that!" he exclaimed, rubbing his arm. "Not that you act like a girl... or hit like one for that matter." Daisuke grumbled something under his breath, still rubbing his arm. "I wouldn't say things like that seriously to somebody I liked anyways," the man went on. "And I obviously like you or I wouldn't be following you around."

Ichigo stubbornly pouted, hands on her hips. "Yeah, well..." she threatened, her voice trailing off. "Don't do it again." She glanced down, trying not to smile. Did he just say he liked her?

"Don't do what again?" he groaned, unfastening his coat and pulling it from his arms in order to examine the extensive amount of damage he was sure the girl caused. Daisuke sighed lowly upon noticing a mark that was barely red before he pulled the coat back over her shoulders. "What are your plans now?" the man asked, looking to her as he fastened the article of clothing against his body.

"Don't joke around with me. And come on, what kind of a man are you? I barely tapped you," Ichigo muttered before spitting into the street. "I don't know. I guess I'll just find somewhere to sleep."

"But it hurt so bad," he pouted, stomping towards her. "So bad. I think you should kiss it better." Daisuke leaned down to her, dramatically pouting in her face. "Your tap is a tap of steel, did you know? And now I'm gonna bruise. What are you going to do about that?"

"Kidding about what?" he asked loudly, taking a step back and standing up straight as he crossed his arms. "What if I wanted to sue you for assault?" Daisuke went on. "And why do you keep calling me an old man!?"

"You can't sue me for assault!" she shouted, pressing her nose against his as she narrowed her eyes at him. "Because I didn't do anything to you. And you can't prove I did anyways. I can say you assaulted me." Ichigo's gaze softened, and she didn't say anything further, but she kind of chuckled.
