great goddess arkaina movie_fanatic Alright, it was hilarious when Boone fell on the ground. That was absolutly pointless, but yet so entertaining lol. And poor him hasn't got his personality back.. maybe he should think about buying it back from Sawyer whee lol Hahaha, I know. I loved how sayid just gave him that demeaning look like "You're a total wanker" look. And just the tension when he said he'd take watch just cracked me up, Sayid just looked like he was doing everything he could to not laugh at the dork. And I loved how tough he tried to be with the spear and knife. Reminds me of that one kid in school, who you'd pretend to play hide and go seek with, but really, he'd go hide and you wouldn't bother seeking. He just kills me! lol xd I just watched it again and saw Sayid's look. lol! May be Shannon told him some wacky stories about Boone and he thinks Boone is more of an idiot now lol

More Boone Bashing from my recap: "Night at the camp, and the fires are glowing. Boone's got a sharp and tall wooden stick and he's not afraid to use it. Locke and Sayid are all ready to do sentry duty. Boone squats near a fire, stick in hand, and starts to nod sleepily. Oh boy. Then he wakes up, probably thinking, "Stupid, stupid Boone creature! No quiche or sleep for you!"" "This music underlines Boone's running through the forest, trying to make up for his little nap by finding who tripped the trashbag alarm. Typical of Boone, he trips. I laugh. Vincent comes out of the bushes. As Sayid and Locke come upon the scene, because --"Something tripped the alarm!", they are treated to the sight of...a fallen Boone, whose face Vincent is licking. Tastes like chicken! I emit another laugh. "I think we found another missing castaway," Sayid says with a playfully nasty tone. Anyways, a scream takes them out of the Boone Comedy Hour antics. They all run towards the sound." "Jack wants to try and track down Ethan again, or something like that. Locke replies that its "fundamental" to their plans to consider that Ethan has an advantage, and to him, the castaways are "just a bunch of scared idiots with sharp sticks." Like Boone."

Okay, this isn't making fun of Boone directly, but I loved the line "It's a footprint. Based on the weight and the distance between strides, I'd say... you've been following Boone for about an hour. Could be Charlie, I suppose."
Am I the only one who get a mental image of Boone wandering the woods in a circle? xd ... and now that I think about it, how the HECK could Charlie and Boone have the same stride? Boone's like a foot taller. xd

That scene was so funny! xd What were the guys THINKING in letting Boone help with sentry duty- he has yet to prove himself to not be a complete idiot. Heh, "like Boone". xd

MeriThranduiliell Okay, this isn't making fun of Boone directly, but I loved the line "It's a footprint. Based on the weight and the distance between strides, I'd say... you've been following Boone for about an hour. Could be Charlie, I suppose." Am I the only one who get a mental image of Boone wandering the woods in a circle? xd ... and now that I think about it, how the HECK could Charlie and Boone have the same stride? Boone's like a foot taller. xd Actually, and I found this kinda remarkable, Boone is only an inch or so taller. Check it out, end of 'White Rabbit.' We all just remember DM as a hobbit, so we automatically think of him as really tiny. And they always shoot Boone from below, so he seems taller. Don't know why...

It just seems that whenever Charlie is around other characters, he looks really short. I guess I just never noticed Boone's height around others. sweatdrop Or shot as he's spawled on the ground. wink

It's the least you can do.

I beg to differ. Charlie has screwed up a lot less on the Island than Boone has...and has so shown a slight bit more of intelligence-for example shooting Ethan.

More Boone-bashing from my recap:
"In the jungle, Sawyer's looking at tracks on the ground. What, another tracker on the island? Actually, no. Kate appears, informing Sawyer that he's been tracking the wrong thing. "You've been following Boone," she says. Boone! You're not even speaking in the episode and you still manage to mess someone up!"
"Yup, half of the featured survivors have killed someone. Kate killed the man she loved, Jack most likely killed the marshal, Sawyer killed a min, Jin came back home in blood, Sayid tortured and executed people, Walt killed a bird (and possibly his mother as well), and Boone...Boone probably killed his pet goldfish. Forgot to feed it while helping Shannon with homework or something."
