Well I already found a way to make profit for this event so I'm happy ^_^
(thats alright, now that I'm out of the speedo i have some of my self respect back) what are you doing if I may ask to make your profit? and it's ok to show team spirit no matter what team your in smile . Go demonics where ever you are, but know I am rooting a little exstra for Derum demonics wink .
Muhahaha i joined some other teams with my mule and won their prizes! Then sold them at overly priced prices!Well that is one way to do it I guess lol. Hey was one of them Derum? hehe at lest if Durem wins you'll win too. wink I am at over 380 pumps and let me tell you I'm not even among the highest pumpers. lol.. My goal i to get at lest 500. smile
Sadly no, it was Alkea, I accidently clicked Alkea instead of Duren. But I don't care, the prize will be just like any other event item, cheap quickly on the market 3nodding

I picked Durem over Aekea because: 1) My kid asked if I would, 2) I thought many of the demonic would(guy in demonic horns = demonic's), 3) I thought it would be the kind of group most my family and friends who were on gaia would pick.. anyway. So over all it came down to Family and Friends...

Its the fault of the mass flamers in Durem who gave it a bad name, not saying if you went in Durem you were bad or anything. All the cool people were in barton by the way =p

I never left my teams forums.. yet I seen all the bad mouthing we got from the other teams how? Point being the other teams came to our forums as well to bad mouth and flame us. Some where down right nasty..
Do I blame the teams they were on or the people who did it? Do I say such and such team were @$$es over all because more members from that team was seen doing such.. no.. From the moment Durem pulled out ahead so early on, things just wint down hill from there... It would be to hard to explain the social indication for such a reaction. Besides it might be better suited for the debate forum anyway lol.
Barton just wasn't my thing ... This is kind of how I seen the town teams thing, an maybe I wasn't the only one that seen it kind of like this..
Barton = prepy, cheer leader, jocks and all those goodie goodie types...
Gambion = Beach bongo, surfing, bleach blonds and richy stuck ups..
Aekea = gansta, tech trendy, scean kids and peach parkers..(just think color and snap snap snap flare hehe if your wondering what a peach parker is..
Durem = biker, heads, rocker, freaks, and out cast...

If I'd picked Aekea it would have been for the Tech trandy, peach parker

I never said you did those things Jek, I'm saying that most Durem people did. As we know there is an abundance of flammers and spammer in Gaia, now they all had to choose a town, majority of them Durem and thats just the way the cookie crumbles so its just unlucky on your part.
I actually judged the teams on the characters of the majority people (Yay for mule!)
Alkea- The punk types, cocky (not so much that its bad) and more street kind of people.
Island de Gambino- The more care-free easy going people.
Barton- The old fashioned more kind moral based people, the kind of people who seem to be simple in what they do but to it with a sense of being familiar and sophisticated. (Reminding me of the beloved aristocrats but with a simpler living)
Durem- The "popular" people, where all the "cool" kids go, in other words the majority I hate both in real life and the internet.
That was my view BEFORE I joined a team.

I guess each had their own pre-cog (or stereotypical) idea of what teams would attract what types of people. Just goes to show just how deep our idea's of stereotypes are set in. They can cross over any vener from our home and school life, to the our internet and even over the phone. Not always a bad thing, our idea's of stereotypes can also protect us from harm you know. smile
