Are we songing? If we are--
"Girls make boys cry." -- Mayday Parade
even though I totally like this one better. Yay for subliminal quoting! "The world's getting smaller." "The world's the same... There's just less in it."-- Pirates 3

"Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness, concerning all acts of initiative (and creation.) The moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. A whole stream of events issues from the decision. Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it."

I like Jordan Already! hehehe. So I was walking down the stree, wearing a halter top and miniskirt, and this total babe drives by. And ya know, I was feeling a little antsy. So I lean over to his window and ask, "Wanna have fun?" Just for the hell of it.
And get this: He actually stopped for me! We drove to his place and soon we were like, "Uhh!Uhh!" I totally banned him like a Gong-- If you get my drift. Then I couldn't believe what happened next!
He got out his wallet and started paying me!

"I roamed the countryside searching for answers to things I did not understand. Why shells exist on the tops of mountains along with imprints of plants usually found in the sea. Why thunder lasts longer than that which causes it. How circles of water form around the spot which has been struck by a stone. And how a bird suspends itself in the air. Questions like these engaged my thoughts throughout my life."

"I wanna fly away kotae wo motomete.... Kiduita yo ayamachi mo kuyashi sa mo hane ni natte Karadajuu kaze kanji soshite ima te wo hiroge Taiyou no mannaka he ima ore wa toberu darou Kanashimi no yoru wo nuke ima yoru mo toberu darou I can fly away...."
Translation:
I wanna fly away and find the answer I discover that my mistakes and frustrations have become wings I feel the wind all over my body and stretch out my arms-- Right now, I could probably fly to the center of the sun, Right now, I feel I can escape from the depressing night I can fly away!
Taiyou no Mannaka He (To the Center of the Sun) by Bivatchee
I've got a million of 'em. My favorite is FLOW!
In case you haven't noticed, Japanese music rocks. They are better rockers, better rappers, and they're just so cute. And look at their lyrics? Yes, almost all of the songs are like that. Some are jazzy too. <3333

OMG, Kirby! I love those songs! Tip Taps Tip and Flow are amazing. But Shounen Heart by Homemade Kozuku (or something like that) is my favorite.

I never like the ending themes; for some reason, I never liked songs by girls, not even Japanese girls. I guess it's all about subject matter, plus I'm straight. FLOW is my favorite, I just LOVE it when they rap! <333

I like female vocal artists, mainly because I sing along to all the songs I like when I think no one is listening. blaugh
"A young girl in the middle of the street suddenly stops walking in order to point up at the sky. "Look, an angel!" she yells. The people of the city continue to pass by, laughing a little at her foolishness. "You fool," they say to her. "That is only a cloud." Determined, the little girl continues to point. "I saw her." But the people wouldn't listen. How wonderful it would be to see angels where there are only clouds, and how sad, to see only coulds when there are angels." -- Icon

"If I am going to do something that could be provocative or artistically relevant, I have to be prepared to put myself in a place where I feel unsafe, not completely in control. I have no fear of failure whatsoever, because often out of that uncertainty something is salvaged, something which is worthwhile comes about. There is no progress without failure. And each failure is a lesson learned: Unnecessary failures are the ones where an artist tries to second guess an audience's taste, and little comes out of that situation except a kind of inward humiliation."
- David Bowie
