In a way, he did know exactly where he was going. Thing was, he had no clue where she would be in the forest. Then the search would commence. He sighed and shivered lightly, wishing that he had thought of bringing Tristen earlier with his x ray vision. They probably would be looking all night just in the forest now. Yuki kept sylve close, not to thrilled at the thought of becoming seperated himself. He never thought about what he would say to malloren...he just wanted to see her to get the chance to.

"Mall?" Sylve hesitantly called out. She wasn't sure if her voice could even be heard over the roar of the wind. Hopefully, Mall would hear them and come out and not run away.

As they moved into the forest, he looked around carefully, looking for any signs of his sister. But it was impossible to tell if a few broken twigs from a bush was from her, an animal, another pae or even the wind. He cupped his free hand around his mouth. "MALLOREN!" Yuki cried out into the wind, his call being swept away in its wake. Indeed, the female wasn't too far. Her ears twitched at the name but she only curled up tighter, crying harder. He didn't really care. Yuki was the selfish one, wanting both her and sylve. Couldn't he be happy just with her? Was she for some reason now, not good enough? She buried her head into her arms, wanting to dissapear.

As Mall's name was pulled away by the wind, despair flooded Sylve's senses. Her mind fumbled with the emotion briefly, trying to understand its origin. As always when she caught these flashes of emotions, she was unsure whether they were hers or not? She was quite concerned yes, but she didn't think that her worry was quite as powerful as what had just overcome her. Looking over at Yuki carefully, she didn't quite feel that same emotion either. Why would he being despairing, they would find her sooner or later and everything would be made right again. Right? So that could only leave...
"Yuki" she said softly, quite unsure of what she had even felt, "I think Mall might be over in this direction." The ghost pointed to the left.

Yuki slowly looked at her and nodded, moving to the left. He didn't know if she really was this way, but it was either left, right or forwards, why not left? It was then as he walked that he caught the glint of something yellow. The bell. "Malloren!" Her head instantly snapped up, tears still coating her cheeks as she looked down, only a few feet to the right of her. "Go away!"

Sylve hung back after hearing Malloren's voice. Everything she had been thinking of saying to the female feline flew straight out of her head. The ghost couldn't help but feel a little bit sorry for her and she felt awkward with the two siblings even though it was her fault the situation had even arose.

"Mall!" Yuki called again, a bit sharper as he lightly squeezed Sylves hand. "Just...just come down and talk to us. Please." She shook her head, looking down bitterly at them "No! Just leave me alone Yuki." He shook his head slowly. "Please mall. Come down. Please. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to push you away." "..." Slowly the female climbed down, dripping wet to stand shuddering in front of them. "Then get rid of her." Yuki deeply sighed and shook his head again. "You know I can't do that mall..." "Why?!" She snapped back, close to crying all over again. "Aren't I good enough?" "No, no thats not it...I just..." The feline spoke softly, looking at her. "Then WHY? Why not yuki?" Her fists clutched at her sides, yelling into the wind "Because, you KNOW that I love her!" The instant the words left his mouth he wished them back, daring to glance at Sylve. His face was slowly becoming redder and redder. Oops. He did not...he didn't....he... "I...I-I..." He couldn't even begin to try and cover this one up.

Sylve's heart swelled. Could he..could he really mean that?? She hadn't dared to hope...well she did but... could it really be true? She'd known for a long time now that she longed to be something more than just friends. She wasn't sure what to say. Should she tell him how she felt too? But what if it had just been a heat of the moment declaration?? And all this in front of Malloren of all people!! What to do what to do! She was sure she was standing there with her mouth hanging wide open in shock. Oh and poor Yuki looked so embarrassed. Was he already regretting his words? A million thoughts flittered through her mind all at once as she still stared straight ahead at Mall, not really seeing her at first as the shock overcome her, but became dimly aware of her shivering. This could wait until later...they needed to get Mall inside and dried off.
Squeezing Yuki's hand with her own, she reluctantly released it and turn to face him. Flashing him a smile meant only for him, and hoping he could somehow read what she felt in her eyes and knew without needing to be told, she pulled the raincoat from his arms and moved slowly over to Mall, half afraid of being attacked. She slipped the raincoat over the female's shoulders saying in a soft voice "Here." She gave the girl a weak smile.

eek She stared at yuki for a bit, eyes wide before they slumped forwards as Sylve put on the raincoat. She had lost. She had lost. "I know yuki...I know." Her eyes shifted away as she walked forwards, gaze unfocused. Something had...switched off in her mind. She didn't want to think right now. What had he done? Sure, NOW sylve seemed fine with it, but she could just be in a state of shock like Malloren. What about later? Did she feel the same way? What if she didn't? Would she shun him? He had wanted to wait until he was sure that she returned his feelings...if she ever would...if she ever could. Oh, what had he done? The male let his eyes settle on sylve's in a sad sort of hope as his sister shuffled past him. Did he see a glint of...? No...no she couldn't. "Sylve...I..." He softly sighed, eyes lowering before he turned and walked after his sister.

What had she done? Malloren seemed...broken almost. Was Yuki loving her really that terrible a thing? And why did Yuki seem so devasted? She didn't understand. Didn't he know? Then...he really must not have meant it. Her heart broke at the thought. Life had seemed so wonderful, so full of hope just moments ago.
She watched the retreating figures in front of her, the wind whipping her hair about her. She sighed. "Me too Yuki. I always have loved you."
"And always will."

He immediatly froze, ears twitching as he slowly turned towards Sylve. The blush was back, but softer then before. "What...did you say?" Did he hear right? Malloren stopped and sighed, shaking her head. "Just...go to her already yuki..." She should be...happy...for yuki...right? Then why did it hurt so much? Flashing a small glance at Malloren, the feline walked back towards sylve. He wanted to comfort his sister badly but...he had to make sure. "What was that?" He stopped an inch away from his dearest friend.

Sylve flushed her entire face turning beet red. He'd heard her!! Oh good lord she'd forgotten about his cat-like hearing! She looked around almost in a panic as he came back to her, looking for some way to escape. But there was none! She fumbled with her hands turning them over each other nervously. What to do what to do! Her head dipped forward and she hide her face with her hair. Should she deny it? No she couldn't, she couldn't lie to him. And if she said no she'd break her own heart just as much. But did she dare tell him...what if he really did love her back? Could she risk losing that chance to be happy with him? The question had barely slipped free of her thoughts before she already knew the answer. No she couldn't. She had to know. But what if it ruined their friendship a whispered voice in the back of her mind lamented. She'd never be whole again if she lost him as a friend...but...but...She'd just have to be strong and brave it. You can do you can do it she told herself encouragingly. She took and breathe and...
"That I umm...that I err... thatIloveyou" she rushed out as quickly as she could and in the tiniest voice possible. The girl chanced a glance at him under her dripping bangs.

She didn't look at either of them as her brother walked away. Just stopped moving to stare at the ground before her. She focused on the sound of the rain as opposed to the sound of their voices before closing her eyes from the world. A very...very tiny smile touched his features, sharp ears catching her rushed words. "Thank the gaurdians." With the soft words his heart raced, thundering as he leaned down. His lips brushed against hers gently, sweet and warm.

Sylve's eyes grew..."thank the guardians" he had said...what did that mean?!?! But then he leaned in and pressed his lips against hers and all thoughts flew from her mind. Shyly, she pressed back against his lips, a warmth filling her that she had never know before.

His blush increased slightly as she kissed him back, but his heart settled as he relaxed. It felt...right. His first kiss...with the girl he loved. What a noval idea. Slowly the male broke it, tail swishing quite contently. Again that tiny smile appeared, shy and innocent. "I don't think you're cold at all."
