At Dion's complaining about the ball, she The Lady chuckled and gave him a mockingly charming smile, "Look at it this way, you'll have a fantastic date." She chimed and flipped her hair back in a girly movement again.

When the Elemental returned with the dress, Kelbora looked at the gown of emerald and jade with a scrutinizing look. It was indeed a lovely, nd very old, dress...green...her favorite color as a human, however she was far taller and much more...matured in the bust area then the Elemental. Would such a dress fit her?

"First of all, I am not going anywhere near a city at the moment. I'm in my more human state, and since my vampire appearence was exposed, I can't risk both getting out. And to you my dear..." She added, turning to the Elemental, "A charming gesture, my dear, but would this artical of clothing fit my...figure?" She asked skeptically and turning to look at Bartz and Dion for approval.

She didn't know why she was acting so feminine all of a sudden, but she guess it was because of the excitement of carrying out a mission in the open instead of the shadows for once. Ironically, the last time she'd just waltzed into the front door before a crowd of people was litterally waltzing with her last ally as a human eons ago. Which reminded her...

"...Question, do either of you...Faer and Dion...know how to ball room dance?" She asked in a tone of curiosity as well as seriousness. It may have been ages, but she remembered every movement and graceful melody of movements. It was required for her...unique, line of work.

Dion looked at her like she was speaking another langueage. "Err.... I can't dance..." Dion said, looking ashamed. Though he didn't mind hte fact he was going to be going on a mission with her, even if they were supposed to be on a 'date', the fact that there was even the remote chance of dancing, well Dion was now wanting to get out of it all... Despite all his skills and abilities, dancing was at a dead stop, due to his lack of need for it. But Dion looked at the dress, and then at Kelbora, and figured it would indeed fit. "As for the dress fitting you, I think it'll do just fine, and not from a purely male point of view." Dion said, still unsure of what she was wanting out of him completly.

Kelbora looked at him thoughtfully for a long moment in silence, seeing if there was anything left to get out of him...and then frowned. She should have known an seasoned soldier like Dion would know little to nothing of higher society living. There really was no need for the information on a battle field, but Kelbora's former line of work intailed espionage...and therefore versitility in all settings was required. Whether she was stuck in a jungle, a desert, a city, or in a palace fit for the Emperor himself...she could handel using her surroundings to the best of her advantage.

"...Well...now that's a problem that could make some question our authenticity." She said and sighed as she uncrossed her arms and legs, swinging forward and sliding gracefully off the table turning towards Dion, "Alright then..." She then held out her hand in a bent manner towards him, a lady like manner that a female used when enticing a male to take to the dance floor with her. "Shall we get started?"
PostPosted: Fri Jul 27, 2007 5:43 pm

Dion looked at ehr hand, like it was a snake rearing to bite, and slowly grabbed it, gently, unsure of how to do it, and looked at her, wondering what he was supposed to do. He had never even tried to dance before, unless you consider drill a dance, so this was all new to him. Give him battle operations, or overall seige tatics, and he would do it in a snap this... this he had to take his time on, and that wasn't something he was used to doing. Much less dancing with a woman!

As soon as Dion decided to get over the fear of her hand and acctually grabbed it, she waited, staring at him and raising an eyebrow before snorting in frustration.

"The male leads, dear. A very sexist perspective of things, but if we're going to impress and fool those vampire nobles, this'll have to be the way of things." She said...but he still looked confused. She closed her eyes and shook her head before looking over to Bartz, "Honestly, do none of your men know how to dance?" She asked rudely before yanking Dion forward and having their bodies nearly spooning against each other.

She wasn't bothered by the action at all; Dion may have been a male and a stranger, but he was her Pomme de Sang, so close contact was not uncommon for them. Without another thought on the matter, Kelbora grabbed the hand he was holding and pulled it behind her to rest on her lower back before taking his other hand and holding it at shoulder high position to the side of them.

These clothes really were inconnvenient, but oh well...the offical dress rehersal would have to wait. She had one week to make Dion a world class dancer or they'd have to scrap the best plan they had...and that to her, was not an option.

"This position means that you're in the lead, the male role, now," She said and rolled her shoulders back to stand in a straight posture, "The elure of a dance is to give the illusion the pair are gliding across the floor. All movements as graceful, fluid, and perfectly in unison. We are one soul in two bodies that mirror each other flawlessly." She instructed and suddenly took a step back with a long leg moving behind her and pulling Dion with her as her boots came to set together, "The male must be in the completely dominating role, meaning you have to instruct me as to where to go. First back, then move right, back to the first position, then left, and finally push me away before reeling me back in with a spin. Understand?" She asked as she looked at him quizzically.

Dion was shocked by her actions, but attempted to follow her instructions as best as possible. He got most of the steps down correct, they just seemed be more with a marching drill manner then the fluid grace she was wanting, however, when it came to pushing her and bringing her back, he was failing dismally. Bartz simply sat there, watching and silently laughing as he watched Dion attempt to dance. "To Answer you question Lady, no. Not one Wastelander that is here, nor at any other base, can dance. The base operating Wastelanders don't have hte time, nor the need to learn how to dance. But the spys and others we have hidden amonst the Vampires do. And I can't pull them back without arousing supsision." Bartz said, his fingers steepled.

The Elemental huffed at the dress. "I could always make it a bit larger in the bust, and the length is no problem. And i'm old, not stupid, of course I can dance, would you like to Samba or Waltz? Contemporary or Foxtrot? Jazz or... As much as I hate it, yes, I know Disco..." Her voice dripped with hatred at Disco, for she did not enjoy Disco. Laughing at Dion's attempt to dance, she went over and stood next to Bartz. "You'll never let him live this down will you?"

Bartz glanced over at teh Elemental, and simply smirked. "What do you think? Of course not. It's not often I find out something that actually embresses him." Bartz said, returning his gaze to the attempts Dion was making at dancing.

Kelbora could see that this was going to be very difficult. It took her years of practice to perfect the art of dancing, and Dion had one week to master not only the art, but obtain some grace and posture. He danced like a gazel with bricks on his feet while drunk on a mighty dose of firewater...and accompanied with this analogy was the fact he looked as unfitting the part of a ball room dancing nobleman as she would a Swedish Sumo Wrestler.

Dacing, or upper class eticate (which she would have to review with him next), was completely out of his element. This was going to test her patience as well as her resolve that he was the best choice for her Pomme de Sang. And after having his iron plated boots step down on her foot for the fifth time in ten seconds, she was seriously considering her decision.

Dion seemed to be getting the hang of the first few steps, but the push and reel were as jerky and unrefined as a ten year old questioning every move he made around a pretty girl in front of his overly religious mother. Suddenly a thought occured to her: maybe they should spend all of their practice time alone?

"Dion, stop." She said and stopped with two feet on the ground as she pulled her hand out of his overly outstrenched hand during a push move, "It appears to me that this and nobel mannerisms are not only going to consume all of our time this week, but that it must be done without an audience." She announced and put her hands on her hips as she looked over to Bartz and Faer.

"Elemental, I assume you're old enough to already be well schooled in these matter. And Bartz, I am more then confident you'll be able to obtain our invitations from a high class noble human pair within the week along with a suitable upper class tux to fit Dion." She said and crossed her arms as she looked over at the green dress, "...Once Dion has a suitable outfit, I'll try that on to see if it fits. Until then, I request Dion be left alone with me for the rest of the week while I prepare him for the mission. Have you any objections other than missing out on a rather amusing bit of black mail?"
PostPosted: Sun Jul 29, 2007 6:21 pm

Bartz nodded, knowing who to send for the invites. Problem was, getting into contact with them before the week was out, as well as getting Dion a nobleman's tux. Well, if the one he was thinking of was able, it wouldn't be too hard a problem. "Both Dion's tux and both of your invites should be here before the week is over, it'll just be a matter of what to do for the Elemental. It'll be nigh impossible to disguise her elmental powers in a room full of magically inclined beings, though, I'm also wondering how you'll get past whatever scanners they have. I'd think they'd have at least 1, maybe even 2 GS's before you even set foot on the ball room floor." Bartz said, thinking of how the Lady WAS going to get past the Gene Scanners. She was a Vampire, and they had a unqiue gene, be they bitten or born, that set them apart from humans. However, Bartz sighed. "And practice all you need, it still doesn't mean I won't have interesting blackmail on Dion. Not that I actually would need it." Bartz waved all three of them out, and turned towards the glass window with the landmasses of Earth etched into it, with the same zones glowing as what was being feed into the CRC's hologram.

A man was overlooking the location of what was supposed to be the Wastelander's command center. He had a rail-gun next to him, all ready set up. The man, well demon actually, was close to 3 miles away from the base, and with today's tech, still able to view the entire outer complex as though he was standing there. He had been sent by Chaos itself, and had been ordered to ensure the one who would most be able to defend the planet against them was unable to, PERMENTALY. The 2000 year old vampire known to the world as the Lady of hte Fallen. His last chance against her failed, and Chaos had not been happy with him. If he failed this time, he would never again see the worlds outside of Oblivion... And he did not want to miss on the pure, delightful mayham, sinful, and destructive ends of so many places. So this time, he would NOT fail. He put his eye to the scope, and began the waiting game. He would wait for as long as nesscary to shot the Lady with the rail-gun, and he would not miss like he did at the Lady Governer's mansion.

"A GC scanner? The thing could go haywire if they tried it on me..." She shifted unneasily on the floor, her heels clacking. "Should I even go then? If it jeopadized the mission I would not, it'd be hard to find a way to pass me."
PostPosted: Mon Jul 30, 2007 2:09 pm

The Lady's expression was devoid of expression as she looked lazily at Bartz, almost as if the thought of impassibale scanners was nothing but a trivial concern.

"GCs are nothing I haven't bypassed before. They are simply locators of the genes that indicate human from non-human, however, machines only scan what is there...and I am not know as the Lady of Shadows for nothing." She said and shrugged, "How do you think I've been so successful in my profession for so long? I'm invisible. Security cameras can't catch me, spot lights cannot see me, and scanners cannot distinguish between me and air; therefore, you may see me, but once wrapped wtihin my aura with only Dion by my side, the scanners will say human for that is what Dion is." She then grinned wickedly, "Vampires are rather arrogant and properly pompous species...they simply put the sensors around the doors to do mass scans of the guests approaching, they don't do individual checks for anything but weapons...which we won't need."

With that she looked to Faer and eyed her for a moment before deciding something, "And my dear...fear not, for you shall not be in the direct and filled ball room Dion and I will be infultrating." She then grinned and made a sweeping motion with her wrist, "You'll be...how do I say it, acting behind closed doors. You see, another thing about Vampire high society is there shamelessness about doing things behind closed doors. Passing you off as a human will be no problem so long as the spell I plan to cast over you is not disrupted, but you'll be in the stock group of service for...one-on-one purposes."

Seeing as how no one seemed to be getting her point, or maybe not wanting to get it, she shrugged again and crossed her arms.

"My dear, you'll be one of the young human ladies they place in the back rooms for viewing, feeding, and pleasurable entertainment. Its something the noble parties are known for; not just the granduar on the dance floor, but for the primal activities that go on off camera and out of sight. When each willing male participant enters the room, you'll be there to obtain as much information as possible through charm and seduction...before you kill the b*****d and destroy the evidence before the next sutior arrives." She then rose and eye brow and a smirk, "I hear the VCF commander of the States is going to be there...I believe you had business with him reguarding some children slaughtered at the warehouse? I also hear, he's got quite a taste for the young and beautiful...I have no doubts that should you run into him, he'll sing like a canary before you take your revenge. Is that not reason enough to try?"

Then she looked at Dion and Bartz, her expression serious again.

"While Faer is seducing, which by the way dear you're not obligated to engadge in any activities you do not wish to partake during your delightful interrogations," She added to the Elemental before turning back to the men, "Dion and I will be mingling with those having far higher priorities and morals...more or less. However, I have a particular target at this party I intend to take behind closed doors and assasinate personally. Oh...and I have to warn you of something..." She said, her eyes darkening, "The moment we're discovered or things get to hot to handle, we need to evacuate A.S.A.P. We'll need to demolish the mansion with as many of those monsters as possible once we're through accomplished or blown. For that...I turn to you Bartz, since Dion and I can't carry weapons on us, do you have an idea how to accomplish this without magical interference?"

Bartz simply smiled and put his hands behind he head, and leaned back in his chair. "Whatever do you take me for? A totally idiot? I'll have a whole bomber wing in the sky, awaiting your go ahead. Now, I would advise you to find something able to hide you totally, because, they'll be dropping more then just EXPLOSIVE bombs. There'll be UV ones as well. Just to be safe. Now, Dion would get a nasty case of second-degree burns at 2 miles, but you, if you were caught within 5 miles of a single blast without any protection, well... Let's say it'll hurt like a mother before everything you are, or more like WERE, will be crispier then over done chicken." he said, thinking of how to give them protection inside. "Tell me, miss Elemental, would you be able to handle being able to 'smuggle' weapons for our lovely 'couple' with your Void powers, just in case things get hairy?" Bartz asked her, as Dion squirmed at the term couple. Dion hoped nothing would go wrong, mostly so he didn't have to die early, but frankly, being coined the term couple with Kelbora, now that wasn't exactly pleasureable to hear, ESPECIALLY from his CO.

Bartz began to think about what ball would possibly be coming up in a week, then it struck him. "Tell me Lady, would you mind if I added a certain 3 targets to that list of yours? If the ball i'm thinking your talking about is the one i'm thinking of, then we may just be able to either kill OR capture the 3 lovely daughters of our 'friend', The Emperor. Which means that security will be much tighter, guards will be more alert, and all of them will be Vampiric Assassation Force members..." Bartz said, rubbing one of his hands across the chin in thought. He just hoped this was teh right ball, because there wasn't any others going on in the next week or so... Other then hte Anniversry of the final victory of the Vampires over the last of the old Earth powers. That ball was to happen in 1 week, and nearly every single Terroritory leader would be there, only the highest ranking Section leaders, and the 3 daughters of hte Emperor himself. Thankfully, the Emperor wasn't going to be there... Bartz know of who was going due to one of his more, in-depth, spies located as high up as a simply quick searched human could go. Terroritory Leader bleeder... And Bartz only had one out there....
PostPosted: Mon Jul 30, 2007 7:42 pm

Kelbora frowned at the thought of dropping UVs on the mansion...after all, 2000 years old or not, she was still a vampire with a high allergy to the sun, UV, and light in general. No, she wouldn't be over done fried chicken, she'sd be ash. But she kept her comments to herself, after all, UV was an excellent idea considering they obviously weren't planning on her cooperation at the event when they set this shindig up. Figures...

She did however sense Dion's anxiety and discomfort over the matter, and it made her chuckle inside. It was clear Dion had a long and deep standing grudge against vampires from both the war and something a little deeper, and being considered the partner, date, or more personal Pomme de Sang to one was obviously a loathsome title for him. She felt only a twing of pity for him before she reminded herself why she picked him: a little payback and insurance to keep Bratz, who she didn't completely trust yet, in line. Not to mention...his blood had marvolous side effects...well, at least there were no unpleasent ones she had discovered yet.

The moment Bartz spoke of the three daughters attending the ball, a detail she had not over looked, her frown deepened to a scowl as she glared at unseen phantoms with enemse hatred. The direct blood line decendents of that dispicable monster and the b*****d who gave her this damnedable eternal life. She hissed when she spoke, her elongating fangs making it sound almost snake like with venom pouring from each word.

"Bring me within two miles of anything carrying the blood of that man, and I assure you there will be no thoughts of capture, only a one way ticket to hell for them." Her tone low and dangerously proclaiming her promise, and the anger seemed to radiate from her body in waves of sufficating heat, "If you want them alive, best leave Dion and the Elemental to their detainment and obstraction, least you only recieve headless corpses for prisoners. This I promise you."

She hated the Emporer and everything and anything that belongs to him. His brother, that sadistic demon was the very creature who bit her more then 2000 years ago and gave her the added after effects of his power. Ironic that she had acctually meant to die after he bit her, thrown from a tower with a sword in her chest, however that last and brutal attempt to tourture and break her completely before she died had backfired terribly. She'd wounded him as he had her, and when he pulled her close to bite her, his blood spilled into her open wounds...completeing the last of the blood ritual needed to spawning a vampire. From pure blood to death bound human...her transition was completed before she even hit the ground.

She was glaring into the ground, her eyes could have set the floor ablaze and she would never have noticed. So bitter, so fresh, were the memories and resentment even after 2000 years...even know as she remembered waking beneath the full moon as a demon of the night the two old puncture wounds in her neck, beneath the leather collar she wore, burned and flared with pain. Whenever she lost control, or was completely consumed by the memory and reliving it, the wounds bled free and covered her quivering body in blood. Even after so long...a bite from a vampire of Valcros Deshtenzex's magnitude, second heir to the Throne of Demon Lords and brother to the Emporer himself, the echos of that agony returned full force when she least wanted it.

She quickly shuck her head to rid herself of these morbid thoughts, the skin on the left side of her neck was dancing with a tingling sensation and burning in two cicular spots. She had to regain control before she lost it all and she really showed these humans something terrifying.

"...Anyway, other then that, keep me as far from them as possible. The vampire who turned me was of their blood line...so they'll be able to sense me in close quarters. They're young by my standards and can't feel the presence of my blood from a long distance, but direct contact would be the end of everything." She then smirked, her expression of anger from before melted into a mask of bitter humor, "Its against royal etiquet and decree to turn a human under any circumstances, so seeing a human with the aura of a relative vampire would raise serious questions. But no fear, other vampires can't sense foreign blood lines. We're safe so long as I'm not around them."

A cold glint entered the eyes of the Elemental in the room, and a cold seeped into the room like that of the Lady Vampire, only it eminated from Faer in waves, creating ice on the floor around her feet and frost in the air. "I think i'd find that most entertaining. Especially because i'll castrate the b*****d before I kill him slowly and painfully." She said this all with a feral smile on her lips.

She then turned to Bartz, and about his question of the Void. "I can store anything in the Void, if you want an armored tank, i'll take that. If you want a nuclear bomb, i'll take that. Anything you give me, I can store."
