Hiru had just heard the commotion as he was heading back home after leaving the Mizukage's office.

He saw most of the people he knew running towards the hospital, seeking refuge, so he assumed it would probably be wiser to follow. Nevertheless, he still had no idea what was going on yet.

He ran inside the building and looked everywhere for a familiar face. The only one he could find was Midori, that sweet girl from his class he met earlier. He ran towards her, panicking a bit.

"Midori! What's going on here? Why is everyone grouping in here?", Hiru asked, somewhat short of breath.

Batosai ran across the village as fast as he could. He took no time in anything as he sprinted through the streets of the village. As he approached the hospital, he took no time in slowing down as he ran through the entrance doors and almost tripping over himself. The accident put Batosai at a complete stop. He looked around hastly as he was trying to find the others. He turned to see Hiru and Midori standing nearby. He quickly walked up to Midori and Hiru then asked, "Are you guys ok?"

Outside the defending ninja stared at horror as their teammates and friends who had not been lucky and quick enough to escape Rain's control marched upon them like a group of zombies. Their eyes were glazed and it was clearly not them inside but they looked so much, in fact they essentially WERE their friends, neighbours and family that the Kiri guards felt sick just looking at them. Sensei less so though. Not having friends (except Batou, but he was being a selfish a** with Despada in the Witch Market and not coming to help) would have that effect...

Through another door civilians were beginning to stream in. Fortunately evidence of Rain's mind control was quite clear since well, whoever was the enemy would try to kill them. The waiting hall was full and so were the rooms, whether in the outpatient or inpatient department. Everywhere there were sounds of crying babies and cries of pain. A few people had light scratches from falling over and stumbling along the way, others were not so lucky and had broken some bones (from the stampede). Some even had horrible gashes across their limbs or back or stomach. It was a horrible sight.

Hiru immediately got to work on patching up the injured civilians who kept flooding into the hospital like armageddon was underway outside. He panicked a while until he realized that if he was to save anyone, he'd have to get a grip and start saving one life at a time, there wasn't much more he could do. He joined one of the doctors who was treating a very badly injured civilian. At the sight of the massive hemmoraghe, Hiru simply froze in place.

Once he got his grip back on reality, he tried putting into application the very basic training he had received. He simply put both of his hands over the wound and started trying to close the wound by regenerating the skin over it. The doctor stopped him immediately, there was no use in closing the wound so soon if there was so much internal damage under it. Hiru was a bit dissapointed but was really determined to be helpful.

After carefully examining the injury this time, he saw the damaged tissue and focused on healing as best as he could this part of the damage while the doctor did most of the work. Hiru was obviously, at best, keeping the wound from getting worse; but it was somewhat helful to the doctor who thanked him after closing up the wound, moving on to another patient. Hiru, quiet pleased, was taken by surprise by a loud deafening discharge coming from the outside and ran inside a room to hide until things calmed down. In his panic he tripped on a lifeless body on the floor and banged his head against the wall, completely losing consciousness.

Batosai watched as the doctor left him to attend to the other wounded. Batosai done the same as he seemed useless standing around and doing nothing. He approached the next person he seen. "Are you alright." Batosai asked. The man replied, "Yea, I'm going to be okay hopefully. Just those bloody bastards got me in the arm pretty good. I guess I wasn't fast enough. Can you patch me up? I got to get back and help my squad out." Batosai nodded as he pull out the shinobi's arm. It seemed that he got hit by a couple of kunia in his upper arm. Batosai immediatly grabbed bandages and started to patch him up. "There you go." Batosai said as he finished. The man looked at it and said, "Thanks kid, I owe you one." And without hesitation, the man got up and ran out of the hospital to rejoin the battle.

After putting on a pair of glove Hikaru looked around for someone to help. He then walked across the room to see a tall man leaning on a bed. "Hello, how can I help?" The man glanced at his left arm and rolled his eyes. Hikaru walked to his left side and rolled up his sleeve. There was a small cut running sideways across his bicep. He quickly slowly went to a counter holding medical supplies. He looked over them and grabbed, bandages, and tape. Hikaru walked back and Hikaru reached for this roll of bandage and covered the cut with a thin layer. As he did Hikaru grabbed the roll of tape. Tearing a small amount of with his teeth he applied it to the underside of the man's arm. The man looked at his arm and then back at Hikaru, "Thanks" he then smiled and walked out of the hospital. Hikaru then looked around for another person to help.


He then spotted a pale woman with dark red hair sitting up on a bed. He walked up to her and said, "Hello, I'm Odorkio Hikaru and I will be taking care of you today." The woman quietly groaned in pain, "Hello, please help me, my leg is killing me." Hikaru glanced at the gash on her leg and quickly began to apply the bandage. He then tried to tape it together. As soon as she stood the bandage fell off. "I'm sorry, if you could please sit back down I will try again."


The woman hoped back on the bed with one leg. As she sat Hikaru carefully took of the bandage. This could get infected! He then stood up and walked back to the counter and grabbed a jar of disinfectant cream. Hikaru walked back and knelt by the woman's leg again. "Could you hurry this up please?" Hikaru looked up and smiled. "I'll try my best" He then looked back to what he was doing. After opening the jar Hikaru dabbed his forefinger in the cream then smeared it along the gash. The woman jumped as the cream must have stung. "Get away from me!" She then raised her voice, "Can I get someone to help me who has some sence? This one clearly doesn't! Where do they train you people?" A doctor then came around the corner, "Please, come with me miss" as he helped her off the bed and walked away.

Hikaru walked back to the other side of the hospital. He passed many ninja who where bleeding and some worse. The attack on the village was inhumane and he felt it was unjust. This only drove him harder to acheve his goals so become a top shinobi. Hikaru then saw another teenaged boy sitting in a chair gripping his right hand. "Is there a problem with your hand?" the boy looked back up at Hikaru and simply replied, "I'm bleeding." Hikaru slowly moved the boys left hand from his right to inspect his wound. There was what looked to be a small hole almost completly through it. Maybe a senbon catch gone wrong. "Please, come with me." Hikaru said to the silent boy. He didnt even squeal. Hikaru brought the boy to a doctor. Who was apparently a medic nin. "Im going to heal his wound, then your going to wrap him" The doctor made handseals faster than Hikaru could see. Her hands then glew a teal color as she gently rubbed his hand. After only seconds of this she had finnished. Hikaru had never seen medical ninjutsu. It's so amazing. After coming back to the now Hikaru quickly bandaged the boy. Then with nothing he ran out the hospital doors...


Very confused, Hikaru walked around the hospital looking for someone to help. He returned to the first room of the hospital to look for new arrivals. Indeed there where numerous newcomers. There was a young woman sitting straight up in a reclined bed. Hikaru walked over to her, "Is there a problem miss?" the girl nodded at him and turned around. Hikaru was shocked at what he saw. There where three kunai lodged in her back. Quickly he reached for them. Attempting to pull then out without hurting her. At the correct angle of the one they where inserted. After Hikaru got the kunai out he placed them on the table next to the girl bed. He then grabbed his roll of gause and wadded it. Then taped it down to her back.


Just as Hikaru was placing the last piece of tape on the girls back, a medic came over to him, "Did these come out of this woman?" Hikaru a and the girl nodded, "Yes..." The medic rolled his eyes, "Please move student. This is not adequate..." Hikaru moved form the doctors way and observed as he removed the wads of gause. "You must clean the area, did you do that?" Hikaru shook his head no and looked away. "Well your going to, go to that counter and get some of that disinfectant cream." Hikaru smiled at that as he pulled the small jar out of his pocket. Even the medic smirked. "Good, now apply this to the outside of her wounds." Hikaru quickly did what the elder ninja said. "Ok, now what?"
Hikaru looked up in anticipation. "Ok, now when you had the gause on her back, it was all wadded up. You should fold it, that way it holds better. Then, you can patch it up with medic tape." "Ok, thank you Sir." Hikaru said with a nod. The medic ninja walked away to leave Hikaru with the patient and the work left. After patching the girl up, she sprung up and ran out the door.
