Gabriel laughed a bit. "No, he'd be proud." He said standing up with her in his arms. He walked her out of the garden, heading toward the pagoda.

Flying down from the roof, Katha landed in the garden and retracted her wings. Her heart was racing, and she was finding some trouble breathing. Sure people before had told her they loved her but that was usually do to Katha manipulating their minds. This time it was genuine and it scared Katha to no end. Being the demon that she was, she had never known the emotion that is love in its full glory. Now the half-dragon Travis had said those three words that she did not know how to handle.

Katha walked around the garden until she came to the area of the garden that held the four statues; one a beautiful woman, one a man standing tall & proud, one of a Dragon who looks regal and ancient, and the final one... the one Katha walks up to and gazes at...

This statue, this image before her is of her and her two siblings, Cole and Emerbis. It was a statue of Cole's younger days. A small smile came to Katha's lips as memories of those days came back to her. Walking to the statue of the woman, Katha gazes up at the woman, Cole's Mother. Upon the statues base, much like all the statues, was an inscription:

Loving Mother & Caring Soul
Forever Shall She Be Missed.

Katha smiled at how much Cole cared for his mother..

Cole truly cares and loves you. From when you walked this realm and even now he cares and loves you...

Walking away from Cole's Mother, casting one last glance at the statue, Katha moved to stand in front of the statue of the Regal Dragon. The cause of all her minds turmoil at this moment was being caused by the Half-dragon... Katha sat on the bench near this statue and gazed up at it. She sat their in contemplation for a long while, trying to sort out her thoughts and emotions...

Shaking her head slightly, Katha looked down at her feet, her hair falling over her eyes. Beren had once again taken on a form that reselmbed her younger brother. A moment of mirth crossed Katha's mind at the fact that this cat was named after her brother; his elven name.

"What do you or Travis truly know of me? True that in the time you've known me I may not have comitted any evil acts... yet what about the centuries before that? I have lived now for over 4 millennium, done terrible acts of evil in my earlier days. I am a creature of evil... my only ties to the world of light in Cole... without him... I would be lost to darkness forever... how can any one love or care for one such as I?"

There was a deep saddness in Katha's voice as she spoke. In her mind, everything she said rang true. To her, she was evil, vile, a thing of darkness never to truly be loved are cared for... a tear fell to the floor as Katha began to cry for the first time in her entire existence...

Her looked out pain and saddness vanished within a heart beat as she turned her glare upon Beren. A look of anger and vile darkness was directed at him...

"You must not have had many encounters with demons before, or you would know better then to say such things to one... especially me and the state of mind I am in..."

Katha stood up and walked away from the dragon statue and stopped in front of the one of her and her siblings, she looked up at it and scoofed...

"Do you know that we never shared a moment like this when the man whose name-sake you carry was young? Happy sibilings... what a lie..."

Katha hung her head and hugged herself as if trying to ward of some dark thought...

"We've never been a loving family... we're barely a family now... we are what we were born... demons... heartless, vile, dark, evil creatures and we will die alone... look at Cole, every woman he's every loved has either passed away or was taken from him... Alex may be the only one of us with a chance of happiness... even then it is slim... what chance do I have?"

Katha whirled around so that she was looking at Beren, tears running down her face freely...

Even if I were to show love back to your master... our union would never be allowed... dragons are not as forgiving as your master... they have never travelled with my brother... I could never openly show affection if I cared for him..."

Katha fell to her knees and began sobbing into her hands... she truly felt alone in this realm... to her, sometimes being in the light was harder then being in the darkness and allow what came naturally to her to rule her judgement... every step into the world of light was a struggle for her... and it was finally catching up to her...

Katha sank to her knees and began sobbing into her hands. Was she truly being selfish? Was feeling as if her kind was not suppose to love being selfish? At the moment in time this was all too much for Katha. No one had ever loved her before now. The only exception to this was her brother Cole but that was the love a sibling; it was not the love that she faced now... It seemed to Katha that her world was falling down around her. She vanished from the garden... from the entire Pagoda in fact... she did not know where she would go, but she knew she needed to be away from this place for the time being...

to the gardens he says, follow me he says..... this is very lovely and all but how is this helping me? am i suppose to wander here forever in an endless cycle of confusion? what are those statues of and why are they here? why am i here? when do i sleep? I am sooo hungry right now..... I wonder where the kitchen is?

The sudden smooth voice interuping my train of thought made me jump and give a little yelp

EEP! you startled me, and i seriously think that ALL I seek will be revealed to me....if it was then i guess i would have no choise but to promptly passout and i really don't feel like hitting my head.......again........on solid earth, but if you promise then i will believe you......what about you Talon?

I look up at the human with a face full of pure innocence and happiness while waiting for his responce
