Of all the places in a HUGE field for my hand to land while doing a cartwheel, it had to be on a BEE. It was the first and only time I've ever been stung. It didn't hurt at all though. I was at camp, and I went to my counselor and said, "Hey, I just got stung by a bee. Can I use someone's credit card to push the stinger out?" (because I'd read that's what you were supposed to do.) And the counselors were all freaked out because I was so chill about it. One of them said, "Um, why aren't you screaming and crying right now?" I said, "I know, it's supposed to hurt, but it doesn't. Weird."

I'd much rather get stung by a bee than wasps.
A couple of years back I was picking weeds out of the yard and up rooted a huge underground wasp nest. One of the most unhappiest days of my life... I could only imagine what the neighbors thought about a kid running around the yard slapping at himself and taking his clothes off lol.

I was digging for fossils in the rural hills of Malibu, and I broke open a rock to reveal a nest of scorpions.
If there's one thing I fear more than anything else on this earth, it's scorpions.
honestly, they're scary from all angles. Hairy claws on the front, stinger on the back, set of too many little beady eyes, YUCK. I hate them.
Just thinking about them makes my skin crawl.

I've never been stung by a wasp, but a couple of years back a wasp nest showed up in our dog's dog house in the backyard, he kept getting bumps and we didn't know why until we checked his pin. :/ We obviously felt awful as soon as we found out. This summer he had similar bumps, but they ended up being due to an allergic reaction to hot dogs.
Mr. Sanity's story is more interesting. XD
I've never seen a scorpion besides the one at the zoo [we have an arachnid area, across from the giraffes and lynx]. But I had one of those Zoobook magazines when I was younger, there was just one picture of a scorpion and it scared me so bad that I couldn't even look at it until I was like 10. For awhile I kept a Post-it note over it.
Miss Req's is more frightening.

I was at a wild anial show in Florida, and the nature guide pulled out this scorpion and it ******** GLOWED IN THE BLEEDING DARK and he shoved it in my face and I must have blanched because my friend across the table suddenly jumped up and said, "I'm gonna go to the bathroom, you're my buddy, let's go." And she hauled my a** out of there before I burst into tears alongside the gator pit.
Seriously, what dire consequenses would there be if all the scorpions in the world just DISAPPEARED?
Do we REALLY need them for ANYTHING?

Think positively, love! They may freak you out, but if you see one glowing, you won't accidently step on it.
o3o;;;
I dunno. Just a theory?

Found my Senior Yearbook....
I look naked! D: But I mean, we were wearing drapes... and my photographer pulled mine down really low. Ick.
And I hate my quote. :/
I was voted Most Unpredictable, with Joey Bailey.

I think my last quote in a yearbook was in 10th grade, and it was from Simon and Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence." Last year, my grade had a group quote. We were told to come up with something inspiring and profound, and we submitted, "How many Juniors does it take to come up with an inspirational quote? Obviously more than 16."
There are only 14 of us, now.
Wonder what my quote should be. "Don't dream it, Be it"? "There's a knack to talent. It isn't being GOOD, it's being better than those around you"? "Breaking Free since 1989"?
I'm sure Miss Gummi's tired of hearing how pretty she is.
