The nails sunk deep. Time seemed to slow as the orc screamed and convulsed in pain. Already showing signs of surrender, it's massive green body stiffened and flailed distressedly. But it did not matter.
You were a machine.
RRRRIP! The blood made a wonderful spray effect, painting all of the walls a beautiful black-red. It hit your face, and you drank as deep as you could. Nothing could exceed such an ecstasy. You ripped hard and repeatedly, grabbing new hunks of flesh, bone, and vein with every lightning-quick stroke. Laughing maniacally, you decided that the neck was through. It lie completely bare, a pristine white and red fountain of a spinal column, hanging from which were a few tendons and veins...but nothing truly important. You released your grip, and he...simply stood there, in full-body rigormortis. He would never hit the floor - a warrior to the end - but his life ended here. You ended it. You were the victor.
His body...disappeared? Hm. Well, no harm done in that really-
A bag was left behind. A small, black pouch....

You've grown, little Spaz...

You could almost hear the air part as a smile crossed the woman's lips...
"Oh...see, now I'm fine with a...companion, you see...I could use the help, I'm sure...just as long as you're honest..."
The gun removed itself. The walked around to his front, heels clicking. She did not face him or say another word on the matter. Like the enigma she was, she simply curled on finger behind her and moved to the gate ahead of them.
The gate. More like locked double-doors, it was comprised of thick steel and gave no indication of the room ahead. Night turned to you, after a cursory inspection of the obstacle. Black cascades of hair veiled her ashen face as she stared you down.
"I'm drawing a blank. Got any ideas, here, sparky?"

Still shaken, Ezriel followed her with his eyes. He looked at the door for any sort of locking mechanism, at Night for anything she might have that could be of use, a way to bypass the door al together. Ez stared at the door intensely and thought... He looked at the guard that lost his head; perhaps he had a key...

Slowly she lowered herself onto her knees, staring at the ground. Why had it gotten so...cold....so suddenly?! She shivered. The clothes she had on definately weren't suited for this...
'I should set up camp...' she thought to herself, but made no move to do so. That man...if he had done that at the village, what if he had followed her? Or if he hadn't done it, where were the people that did?! She found her mind whirling with a topic completely opposite of setting off camp. She shook her head, attempting to clear her thoughts.
"Camp first...worry after..." She murmered, and looked around for any type of shelter. Tonight, the temperature would drop...Maybe setting up camp wasn't such a good idea. However, she could always light a fire or something...But she didn't know if she had any matches left either.
"Maybe I should continue..." she whispered to herself. "but then again..." Her mind was cluttered, she didn't know what to do. She shook tears out of her eyes. It wouldn't do to have her eyelids frozen shut. Being temporarily blind would definately be a bad thing...
She looked around again. What kinds of animals would be around here, if any at all. She was used to the animals of the south, having spent three months dealing with them, but up here....she hardly thought that they'd be able to survive in the harsh cold. Speaking of which...
"Oh good god there has GOT to be a sweater in this bag somewhere!" She cried through her chattering teeth, ripping it open and digging through her stuff. If she didn't put one on soon, she'd freeze!! And now would be a good time to look for those matches too...

Spaz thrust his fist into the air in a dramatic pose. After a moment or two he looked around angrily.
"Where the hell's my victory music?" He demanded, tapping his foot. Pumping his arm again, he hummed a satisfyingly victorious battle theme. "That's better."
Now that the adrenaline was wearing off Spaz realized how much pain he was in. His back was still raw where he'd been cut earlier, and his head was throbbing painfully. He thought he might even have a concussion. He ran his fingers over the huge knot on his noggin, wincing at the feel.
Eyeing the pouch at his feet, Spaz bent down to take a peek inside. Maybe it would have some beef jerky. If video games had taught him anything, it was that beef jerky could heal near-fatal injuries in large enough quantities. Hell, even a Slim Jim would do in a pinch, if you didn't mind a visit from Macho Man...
OH YEEEAH!!

Sensing immediate danger, Bob made a small, fidgety, circular motion with his hands. He muttered frantically as the beast neared him. He shuddered and yelped, finally chanting the words,
"T-T-TORUM...TORUM EXGALLAAATCH!!!"
Huh? Was this real? It was as if you were stuck in a moment...a constant image...burned in your mind...
He had frozen time.
Bob's chest heaved...inhaling deeply, he righted himself and let his blurry form dance around you, inspecting his work. Finally, he, with some effort, pulled out a chair and sat down in front of you...
"Kid. I'm...uh, sorry. Didn't think you were gonna do that, you know? Heh..." he scratched the back of his head. After a little bit of an awkward pause, he cleared his throat and spoke. "Listen. You may not know me...but I...know you. In fact, I'm the reason you're here. I brought you to this damn wretched motel...
I've been testing you. The first? Throw a little fake skeleton in a room...a little amnesia...a test of temperament...see how far I could push you...
The second? Coming here. I didn't really beat my ******** wife, who do you think I am? You've got a good heart, kid. I trust people who trust their hearts...
Okay. Now, a little about me. I'm an experiment. Yeah, you heard me. A ******** "designer human"...You may not - do not know this, but a long, long time ago, there was this guy...by the name of "Kefka"...well, no, that's not his real name, but it doesn't really matter. Just listen. He ran these, these...testing labs, this huge Complex, you see? I don't really know how, 'cuz I booked it as fast as I could, but...he was manufaturing magic...making all the ******** folklore and tales of Lon - tales of magical creatures...real. Something to do with "changing the Life Essence" and other physiotomicacaca s**t. Whatever. But he was changing us. Humans. Making us...mutants. Well, little did we know that he though we would ********' love him for all this "big priviledge" and help him in some stupid plan. I mean, priviledge? Come on! I lost my identity, my family, my life...just because I was randomly selected..."
Shifting uneasily, he rubbed his eyes and faced you again.
"So, I bust outta there, see...I break a window, squeeze through some tubes...end up in a big river. Well. After about two hours of getting the ******** outta there, I...I don't know the odds of this one...meet up with some chick, goes by the name of Millenia...says she's gonna kill herself...she was a patient too, but...well, hold on. So, she can't deal with the stress. Knows she's better dead than alive. So she removes a...a collar...the one you're wearing...and perishes. Right before my eyes...just turns to ******** dust. God, the things you see in this age...
So, anyway, I've been long gone...and one day...whole ******** world goes up in smoke. Huge explosion - like a ******** warhead - wipes out a huge chunk of the planet. We're all going crazy. I mean nuts. And three, count 'em three days after, we get a "savior"? My God, you think you're confused hearing it, you should have lived back then...some guy...Johann Rozen...just kind of settles himself in...takes control of our anarchy by using...talents. Just like the ones us patients have...this guy takes over. You know the Rozen clan, right? Dictators of the goddamn world...yeah. They take over. And we live...alone and afraid. Can't leave your respective town, unless you've got transportation...the whole world's...dying.
You see, the explosion left this thing called the "Great Scar" right diagonally across the middle of the earth. Oceans are spilling in, magma boils up time to time...continents sink under melting polar ice...things ain't so hot. And for now, we gotta live in fear...while the Rozen clan knows everything. Problem is, you can't get there from America...no flights, boats...anything can take you past the Scar...and so we wait...
Now for your part in all of this. You know that collar? On the inside are two spells...
One binds, one finds.
I read them both...and I don't know if I'm proud or disappointed of that...as soon as I did...the collar became restless. People near me got sick, good children became real snots...nice became...evil. So I hid it in that Bible over there. That sure shut it up...holy pages and all, it'll definitely stop Succubaic toys like these...
The second spell ingrained your image and location in my mind. Everything about you, too. I was to find you...soon. Or I would die. Plain and simple...real hocus pocus s**t...so I found you. Not before doing some research.
You are a succubus. Yes, you heard me. The most violent, decadent tempress of blood...sounds nice, huh? Yeahh...well. You are. Come from a long line of...Lonarians.
Lonar is what most people conside our "Red Moon". As you know, it's broken into fragments now, but in my day...it was beautiful...and was rumored to be home to heaven and hell both. No one could ever seem to reach it, though. Yeah, we'd ******** travelled to Mars, but Lonar always seemed out of reach...you know what I think? God...or whatever, some...power knew that Lonar was not a place for us humans to go...probably just kill us with bewilderment...so they must have figured out a way...a barrier, if you will, to...keep things contained. On both sides. Hell made up the red exterior of Lonar, I guess to keep us from seeing the tempting pleasures of heaven...Worked pretty well too...only flaw was that...demons, taking the red, outer crust, had a plain view of Earth...and when someone "accidentally" released the heavenly hold upon the planet...some got free. You guys come in all shapes and sizes...Lamias...Wyvrinas...Imps...all with powers...magnificent abilities...
And you bred with us...*stupid, stupid us...*, spreading your..."magick" across the planet. Most Lonarians are powerful, but they have no desire to destroy earth...seeing as how they miss it so much...and with heaven unable to stop them, they still live among us. However, they may still be a massive threat to Earth as we know it. I think they might be in the Great Scar, but whatever...they're here...you're here.
Of all the demonic races, the Succubus is undoubtedly the Queen. With a fiery heart, tempting gaze, and unholy power, she could crush anyone...or anything...under her feet. I don't know what a fully-grown one looks like, but I sure as hell can do some picturing there...There are no recorded instances of male dominance, no princes or kings...but you...could be the ruler-to-be of all...all of the Lonarians. Though you're still green, and I recommend you don't go near them, it is still your right. They will fight you for it, but your bloodline...and I daresay you might be a cousin to Millenia herself...
Who knows what this all means. I'm just teaching you a little history here. We've got some training to do, too. Though I don't know any Lonarians, I do have powers myself. I can teach you...if you accept. Now. Are there any questions before I release this spell?
[You just got all of the History to Mental shoved in your face. Hope you like it. If you're confused....which I would expect...PM me.]

The bag...had some money in it... 60 dollars, U.S. Odd. Why would an orc need money? Oh well. A little green might help. Now, what to do next...
Catching his breath, Spaz thought of a plan. For once.

She couldn't have searched him...his pockets weren't empty...His holster sitll had a gunn latched in it...that was clear. It looked loaded. 11 shots out of...3209480b=x6k*90...20 shots total. He was lightly armed...a gun was his only defense, definitely not following standard...RPA Rule #14b). Follow the force continuum from soft hands upward...he was missing sever gradients....as for his pockets, a 13.5in-radius ring held 35, no, 36 keys. 12 were useless, one was...2130 standard Kyrus lock 35 twister...ah. A skeleton key...and...the others were for...ADTADTADT...oh. ADT home systems...definitely home keys. But you were sure the skeleton key would open the gate. It would have to.

Snap! "...Damn." Snap! "...Damn."
Strike...strike...............snap- "OH ******** COME ONN!!"
Throwing the matches to the blistered earth, you have to give up trying. You only have 3 matches left, and you might need them later. This really blows. Hard to set up camp when you're cold, hungry, and scared...pretttty hard, in fac-
HOOWWWWWLLL....
