Kyo walked across the hall and into one of the team's rooms. He had soon rearranged the furniture and beds so that he had, almost literally, made a small fort in the far corner of the room. He arranged the fort so that it was impossible to see into it because the beds were flipped sideways on top of the couch. He quickly fell asleep on most of the pillows, right up against the wall, wedged into the corner.

Sukia's ear twitched as she was addressed. It was one of her teammates. She turned towards him and took in his appearance. He was like sensei in a manner of speaking, she could sense it in his aura and in the way he approached her. With a small smile, she bowed to him. Her silver locks rested around her bare shoulders as she stood straight up again.

"Sukia Yoshida, native of the Mist village. And you are... I'm sorry. I can't remember your name for the life of me."

Sukia tilted her head to the side as she continued to watch the young man.

Nice glasses though...

Tyson stopped about two steps short of the rail as he came back from his memories and started looking around. No one was in the immediate area, which means he could get some training in. Tyson dropped down and started doing one handed push-ups, switching hands after every ten, keeping track in his head.

Aca having walked off after Tyson started aimlessly wandering had snuck downstairs and was now poking around looking into the rooms. One room caught his attention so he entered it crawling towards the far corner where there was some sort of barricade or miniature fort.

When Kage left the room Taiki made his way onto his large bed closing his eyes immediatly. "It'll only take us one day to reach the Hidden Mist, but at least three days of travelling to reach our destination island. May as well get all the possible rest I can."

((When you guys are done socializing I'll skip ahead to the next part.))

Kage smiled warmly as his teammate bowed to him, and he admired the fact that she too had delicate silver locks of hair. It kinda made him glad that he came up top to introduce himself to her. In response, he too bowed before finally introducing himself.

"I am Kage Mikazuki, of the Forbidden Country. It's a pleasure meeting you Sukia." he said, still wearing the same warm smle as he arose. Now with his sunglasses off, his black iris' further examined his teammate, and secretly he had hoped that the scar upon his right eye wouldn't deter Sukia from further conversations with him.

"I assume your looking foward to returning to your village of origin then, am I correct?"

((BTW, if I manage to stay in this team long enough I'd be happy to illistrate each of your characters. I already have one of mine and I'll post the link for you in a sec. So if you're all interested just let me know.^^

Sukia stared at Kage for a second as he removed his glasses and continued to speak. His eyes were mesmerizing and almost completely made her forget where she was. She leaned up against the railing and broke her gaze with him. She also saw the scar over his eye. She wondered if she might hear the story behind it one day.

As Kage inquired whether she was 'looking forward' to returning home, a grimace replaced her blank expression. "Not looking forward to it whatsoever. I was happy when I was assigned to Konoha..." Sukia spat and turned back to the water below.

"So what about you? I don't know much about the Forbidden country. Why have you come here?"

((actually Sukia locks are actually locks. Like dreadlocks but I hate the expression so I just say locks. Nice art!))

Kage stood there for a ittle while longer as his eyes glided to and fro, observing her evenly tan skin to her almond shaped brown eyes. She seemed much like an oddity, especially with her silver dreadlocks. Regardless, her grimace had shown him that she too disliked the Hidden Mist.

"You sound like me....when I was much youner that is," Kage remarked as he took his place beside her, leaning upon the railing as he peered up towards the rising moon. "I was originally born in Konoha, but at the age of ten I was taken to the Forbidden Country for reasons unknown to me. I was there that my parents died and I recieved this scar. I hated the Forbidden Country....but as the years passed by I came to realize that there wouldn't have been anything that I could've done to change the past. Still, I do feel happy when I am in Konoha it has a much more peaceful feeling about it. Is that too why you were happy to be assigned there?"

Though it was a slight description of his past, he failed to mention to her that the people that killed his family were extremists from the Hidden Mist that hunted them down for possessing a Kekkei Genkai...

He couldn't help but grimace slightly as visions of the past had come to mind, but as he basked in the rays of the moon his mind calmed itself so that he could further answer his teammates question.

"Why am I here? You could say that I enjoy meeting new people from other countries. But in all actuality, I'm helping the princess maintain the peaceful ties with the other countries now that we have revealed ourselves to them."

((Thanks Ebony.^^ And just curious, but Sukia's a genin, right? Or did she change after the two year leap?))

((Hm, I would love to be a chunin. Sensei can I be a chunin? 3nodding ))

Sukia continued to gaze down into the water as Kage talked. She had not noticed that evening was rapidly approaching and the winds were changing. Since Kage had opened up to her a little she decided it was only fair for her to do the same.

"I had to get away from that place. No way was I going to become the wife of the next Mizukage. I have my own mind, not the mind they wanted me to have. So they tried to warp me into what they wanted. They tried to take my mind but in the end they failed. My will was too strong." Sukia took a deep breath and calmed herself. She saw the small waterspout that was forming in the distance. She had to keep her emotions in check.

She spent so much time practicing her water weaving that she had been neglecting her genjutsu training. She made a mental note to get on that soon.

((I can't magically promote you so you're still a genin))

"It sounds as though fate can arrive in the forms of many shapes and sizes, eh? You could say that I am happy to hear that you were able to choose your own fate rather than withstand the fate which was organized for you....hmm, how bothersome." Kage said, spending the last few moments muttering a curse unto himself.

As time passed, Kages eyes were no longer irrate as they once were. The sun no longer bothered him and he was allowed to bask in the cool, peaceful air in peace.

"Sukia, may I ask you something? Earlier when you learned that you'd have to share a room with a teammate, was there any particular reason? Or...?" Once again the shadow nin's curiousity was getting the better of him...

((I can settle with still being a genin, for now. So until I get the chance to be promoted to a chunin, I'll be working on an advance profile thingy. ))

Sukia closed her eyes and took in what she assumed was a compliment from Kage. The night was rapidly approaching and Sukia began to wonder if she would be training the night away or actually get some rest. It would be best if she rested.

"Hm?" Kage's question roused her from her thoughts. "Oh, male companionship is not something I am use to. ...Plus, I wet the bed. Well that sounded bad... I water weave in my sleep at times. It's quite embarassing."
PostPosted: Sun Oct 14, 2007 7:31 pm

"You wet-....oh, I see...I'm sure it's not as bad as sleep walking...or in my case sleep training. I learned from my twin that my determination to become stronger never ceases....even as I sleep." Kage said, feeling his face flush in embarassment. Like it was more embarassing to sleep-walk than to sleep-weave. You'd figure it'd be creepy getting spied on by your own damn shadow.

Soon night would be upon them, and it would be the shadow nins peak of awakening. And it proved to be the best time to practice his agility training....

"Sukia, perhaps you should get some rest. We're bound to have a long journey before us tommorrow. And don't worry, I'll join you downstairs after I've finished my daily training. I'll make sure to awaken you before you start water weaving in your sleep." he said with a playful wink.

Sukia stood in silence and watched Kage. He was... flirting with her? Sukia was known to be oblivious but she almost wanted to kick herself for not noticing this one. He was even able to worm one of her darkest secrets out of her. That sly fox. He had suggested that Sukia go get some rest but she was now feeling playful. Besides, the moon was ripe and that always did wonders when it came to her manipulating the ebb and flow of the waters.

"Alright, good night Kage." She bowed and turned her back as if she was walking away. Before she had wandered too far away from him she conjured a sliver of water from overboard and whipped Kage on his bottom.

With a smile and a halfway backwards glance. she said "Watch out for the bugs up here, they get pretty bloodthirsty at night. They might find your flesh to be suitable..." And with that she disappeared to the other side of the ship.

(( crying Damn you Gaia, my post got deleted and I worked so hard on it too)) ((Guess I'll have to sum up what I remember then))

Aca had plopped down infront of the fort like structure waiting for something to emerge from it.

Tyson on the other hand had become so focused on his training that he hadn't noticed that it was getting dark. He was currently practicing basic kenjutsu and remembering all the battles his sword hadn't gotten him through.

((Well to try and beat the overall time skip I should speed things up about now))

The night went pretty uneventful from there on. When the sun came up Taiki did not join it so the squad was left to their own accord until finally the ship arrived at it's destination. With the sound of a horn Taiki immediatly awoke and led you towards Mizugakure. The setting as the name suggested was covered in a thick mist. The sound of water crashing against the land could be heard all around, yet as eerie as it was it gave a soothing feeling. "Oi, where the hell are you." Taiki suddenly called out breaking the silence he maintaned throughout the walk here.

"BRAAAAAA!" A voice that was all too familiar to Taiki and perhaps a little to Kyo.

"No...why is he the freaking contact."
