"I mean shorter side by shorter side," Ruby replied, "the slope upwards is slightly steeper, so that it's shorter. Plus, the path's clear, though it's not technically a path. No trees, plants, rocks, or cliffs are in the way." She didn't bother to say that she'd have flown if she didn't have to take the group with her.

"Note the 'slightly' in her statement about it being steeper. My guess about the 'it's a path, but not technically a path' is that it's clear, but it isn't lined with anything for people to bother being like, 'oh look, it's a path! let's follow it!'" Alex said.

"That... Barely made any sense" Kiichigo said.

Brownie glared at Pez. "We're not aliens, we're alien mews. Major difference. Anyway, there are only two of us here. Remember, we drew straws, so that we don't all get bothered. We're not strong enough to bring a giant group at once, not just Ginger and myself. It would take several trips, and, most likely if any trouble came up, we would be so tired that we'd be no use to you." She summoned up one of those parasites (she still could when she was in human form, unlike the other alien mews), and started playing with it.

"There is no cliff in the way. I just said that," Ruby commented, frustrated. "Look, here's the deal. It's not a marked trail, in that most people don't know about it. But, it's not roped off, either. It's a dirt path with no rocks on the sides to mark it or what have you. It's perfectly safe and very easy to even sprint up." They had now arrived at the beginning of this said path. Other than the fact that it was plain dirt, and there were a few trees and shrubs around, it looked like a wheelchair ramp. "Everyone, let's go. If you don't keep up, you're not going to be able to help." She walked at a fairly brisk pace. Minto kept up, several yards behind. Ginger and Brownie kept about a foot behind.

Onyx nodded. "Ohh.. alright."
Onyx followed everyone, then Fisshu and Purin were trailing behind.

((-_- It's just my pet peeve. It gets on my nerves. I won't slaughter you if you do it. Well, I'll slaughter you if you do it in excess.

By the way, suffixes are OK. Because I'm pretty sure that most people know how they work, but when you use words like "sumimasen" or "daijoubu" I'm pretty sure you're using them incorrectly, it bugs me. I'm not fluent in Japanese, but it bothers me when people abuse their culture like that.))

"Okay, then why don't the halfies teleport us in small groups anyways? It's not like we don't have enough people." Pez asked. "If this path is so easy to climb," she said as she started walked up the path, "why is it the shorter side? If it's steeper, would that make it harder? And if it were steeper, then would we ALL get tired, rather than just the halfies?"

Leichi and Serori just walked.

"But what fun would that be?" Leichi asked in a whiny tone. "The more the merrier!"

"The more the merrier yes," Brownie said, "but when Squire's in a hunting mood, it's not wise to make her the tour guide... Not to mention that she does have a point, it would have been easier for her to just go up and come back alone... she could fly, first of all, and second of all, I could teleport her here and back - it's easy to bring one person."

"I'm just surprised you could hear her," Ginger muttered, "I didn't hear a word she said."
