Sadly she couldnt tell him that a good friend wasnt what he thought of him as... She needed to get out before some one was hurt, before it was her fault again..

Darius growled and jumped over the stair railing landing infront of her."i said no! would you listen im here to help and im not letting you get hurt hear me." he said grabbing her by the shoulders.

"Stop IT! You dont even know how hard it is to stay here and not feel something. No one has treated me this way since.... " Kiro stopped herself and shook her head. She would try to struggle from his grip and run, but wasnt sure she could. "I dont want you hurt, i wouldnt care if it were me, but you, for me a stranger? Why? To you im only a child! What does it matter if im caught or hurt? Im a good friend? How? What have i done to earn that title?"

"Run from what? You? Why would i run from you.. Im running now to protect you, to keep you save...." Kiro couldnt understand. She thought everything he had said before, ment that she was just a random person. That there wasnt a way he cared... But now his voice shook, and he yelled at her in a different way. She didnt run from him, but ran from the people after her... She didnt want them to get him... Almost as soon as she calmed her breathing, she felt the pain in her leg and went to the ground suddenly. As a quick reaction she tried to get up and tried to get past him. She wanted to protect him, not hurt him..

"i said no!"Darius growled again and pushed her agaisnt the wall."your staying your in no condition to go any where." he shook his head."i can fend for us both trust me will you im not gonna get hurt." he looked her dead in the eye again something different in his eyes...a sence of kindness and caring now visable as his eyes reflected Kiro's image.

"But Darius... What if i die, the way she did... that will hurt you, no matter how many times you say it... And if you became hurt, i dont know what i would do... You mean so much to me..." She whispered, seemingly losing her voice by his power. His eyes, she couldnt look in them for fear they were a lie. If she looked in them, she would find hope and so much more that it would cause her to drop her things and stay. So she chose not to look and to close her bright, childish eyes. Yes, she was only a child to him.. Se repeated it in her head. Only a child... right?

Darius hugged her tight he didn't care if people saw him. "i need you." he whispered, then sighed"but if you choose to go i won't be able to heal but if its what you wish then fine." he let go looking at her one last time and walked back into his apartment

It was impossible for her to ignore her feelings. As soon as he walked away from her, she grabbed a hold of his arm.
"Oh please.. dont see me as a child because of this..." She held onto him tightly and started to cry. She wanted to be close to him... She really did. Maybe everything would be alright... Maybe. She would stay with him. As long as he would let her. He needed her? No it was more she needed him. She needed him close to her, holding her, and caring for her. "I need you as well..."

She nuzzled into his chest and wondered how long she would stay like this. She was tired of running but felt there was nothing else she could do... Her tears continued to fall as she finally let it all out. She wouldnt stop herself this time, she couldnt. She just needed to find some comfort and she found it in him. Why did she want to leave? He would protect her... Right? Yes.. He would.

Kiro didnt fight any longer, she just listened. She didnt want to fight any longer... she wanted him to be by her.
