Better than I could ever do.

Of course, that's not saying much.

Yep it's really not too good, but what i'm concerned about is the description. Apparently the artist never played Suiko II? Either that or he never transferred data.

Well he certainly doesn't give up, and DOES care for others, but he is much darker and more depressed in Suikoden 2. His picture no longer has a smile, he spends all his time fishing alone in silence, and you can tell he suffers through the little exposure he gets in the side quest.

@Chiriku: I know all too well about the closed minded friends ignorant hatred of Suikoden... One friend is an FF7 nut so judged it on terms of graphics crying He never played with any of the sound and skipped like half the dialouge. I'm trying to get another friend who moved to South Dakota to play, but since he's so far I can't lend to him, and it's rare as balls offline now.

Well, given that the Heroes usually have no established personalities, I always imagined Tir being a just a tad scatterbrained. Not so scatterbrained that he never pays attention to things, but just enough to float off to his own little world during meetings or have strange daydreams. You know, like JD from Scrubs.

It carried over in Suikoden II, but it was more of him not paying attention to the villains half the time ("Hey! You're Neclord! Didn't I already defeat you? I did! Why aren't you dead?!"). He was also more sarcastic (especially with Riou) and he didn't beat around the bush. He may have also been psychic.

Lol, why Psychic? Not that he couldn't be, but that just seems completely random. In Suikoden 2 I sort of imagined him being more serious and quiet. His stance in battle is relaxed and calm, his 'in pain' animation is strangely cool, and the scene when you get him to help in the Inn he says nothing. Only gives a few gestures.

One of the conversations I imagined Tir having with someone, he basically said this:

"You know, I've always thought that Luc is like a time bomb. He'll probably end up trying to destroy the world one day. It's always the quiet ones."

It was before I had played Suikoden III, mind you.

Ah, I see. Nice guess man xd Although Humphrey was much quieter than Luc. I always wondered why he went with Futch on his quest of all people.

One of the Dragon Knights (Joshua, IIRC) told him to.

Is that all? He seemed really friendly to Futch though... I guess that would explain why he wasn't in 3.

On a random note I love that game with the 3 dice (It's referred to as Chinchirorin in Suikoden 2 I believe, but it's just a rename of an existing game in real life). The more money you have the luckier you are in it (in the original). I only wish you could bet the crazy moneys you could in Suikoden 1 (3000 potch don't cut it... Needs that quick scratch!)
