"I don't really care what Zabuza may try on me." Shino nodded when he mentioned the human girl. "I came here to see if you knew where Zabuza was. I thought you were very up to date on the happenings of the forest?"

"Yeah, I am and may know where he is, but it will cost you." Shikamaru said as he thought of a price. While he honestly didn't care what the others did with themselves, it was always good to know what was going on. "Are you willing to pay?"

"Nothing difficult at all. The last time I heard, Zabuza was over in the western part of the forest. In that section of forest is a flower that only grows there. What I want is for you to bring me back some of them, with the roots and preferably some of the soil. That's all." Shikamaru said with a shrug. "If you're going there anyway, it won't be any trouble."

Hinata's cheeks felt like they were burning as she started blushing. Her skin became a bright red on her cheeks. "K-kiba-kun?" She asked softly. Yes she was happy but she was also confused. Hadn't he told her he liked Shikamaru-san?

"I'm sorry...actually I'm not. I wanted to do that." he said with a bit of a smile and brushed her cheek with his fingers. "Is something wrong?" Kiba asked with a frown.

Hinata shook her head and smiled. "N-no." She gave him a small hug and nuzzled him as she hid her still red face. "T-thank y-you K-kiba-kun."

Kiba took her face into his hands again so he could look in her eyes. "Hinata, you know me. There's no reason for you to act nervous around me, okay? I won't do anything he don't want me to do and if I ever do, feel free to hit me." He gave her another kiss, this one a little harder and lasting longer. "We're friends before anything else, right?"

Hinata nodded. "We're always friends before anything else." She said. "And I'm not being nervous. I'm happy." She smiled as she said this. "See? Happy." Her cheeks were cooling down and becoming a lighter shade of pink. "I wish you could come home. Daddy said you had a resceptful clan."

Hinata laughed and nodded. "But I kinda convinced him of that. I told him that you're better then Naruto...and you are. You know I'm here. So he said that if I stopped talking about naruto as a husband then he would let you be one of the people who I could marry. If I wanted to."

Kiba felt himself blushing now at the compliment. "You really said those things about me? Thank you for sticking up for me with your father." He looked down at one of the flowers, his heart beating a little faster. "If...If I had asked you, would you have said yes?"

Hinata also blushed but nodded. "Y-yes...I-I think..." SHe shook her head. I think I might still... Hinata was playing with a stem of grass as she watched the flowers too.

Kiba was starting to feel a little hungry but ignored it. I don't want to ruin this moment. He leaned over a bit to rest his head against Hinatas and took one of her hands into his. "How has everyone else been doing?"
