*Maximillion pushes up his glasses nonchalantly.* Ah... vous avez entendu ma offre... *He doesn't even seem to notice that he's slipped into French, and then shrugs.* Allow me to guess... your interest was piqued by something you heard?

*She looked at her, then she looked to him.*
"Yes...it did catch my attention....this whole business of...going back...and also of this...changing status...not that i'm interested in doing it, but...the concept confuses me....i've never heard of such...things you could say."
*she took a swig of her bacardi and turned to the woman.*
"Drinking is how we survive. Murder is surviving well....but it is no longer murder for you are no longer human. I do not preach the morality of my killing...though i somewhat still think like a human and bare guilt...we have been damned and are what we are. Embrace your fate my friend...unless there is another way..."

There's a reason you haven't heard of it: it's very, very rare. Generally, there is one escape from undeath, and that escape is true death. Reason being... only in extreme cases can a vampire regain it's full living status. Those circumstances generally are... divine intervention. And since vampires are considered by the Christian God of this world to be the damned, He generally wouldn't raises a finger to help them. But I am not from here... and my god, my Master, cares not for Heaven or Hell, blessed or damned. The only obstacle for him is that he does not have his full omnipotence outside his realm... beyond that, he has the power to restore a vampire's mortality. If he wants to, that is...
*A light shines in Maximillion's eyes as he speaks... a sort of zeal. He believe quite strongly in all of this, apparently, though whether or not he is simply mad remains to be seen.*

*he nods slowly, his expression a thin, wry smile.* Aye. Unlike some gods, my Master is all too eager to demonstrate his existence. He has granted me power... and he can do the same for others, if they pledge their allegiance to him. *He sees the doubt in her eyes- how could he not? It is a fantastic claim, after all.* Shall I show you? Only a small thing.

*Maximillion raises his hand into the air, turning to a small, dim electrical light in the corner of the room. It has been left on and it is, for the most part, the room's only source of light. His hands goes limp and his eyes unfocus. Suddenly, he balls up his fist, and the light grows bright- very bright, so much that it was putting out about three times as much light. He holds it for a while, his fist and the light trembling and flickering insanely. Then he pulls back his fist, and the light... moves. It is... pulled out of the lightbulb, a spark of light floating in the air without rhyme or reason. Slowly, with a growing calmness, Maximillion pulls his fist back as if he were reeling in a fish, and the light floats towards him... until he unballs his fist. The light hovers in the air for a moment, then winks out entirely. There is complete darkness for three seconds, and then Maximillion snaps his fingers. The lightbulb is back, and all is restored as it was before.*
...nothing big... but it's something to show.

"Ahh. Intriging, yes. What is to say it is not merely magic?...I wonder." *she looked at the lady.*
"Why are you so against...the natures of yourself...killing for instance..?...Oh my..where are my manners..." *She slightly bows* "My name is Kaei Aubrey D'Ancanto. But you may call me Rogue if you like."

*he chuckles* I suppose it is, of a sort... that was not difficult. There is no practical use in moving light around, like that. I show you that only because it is a relatively simple- and nonthreatening- application of what I can do. If you like, I will give you a more convincing demonstration... on the morrow, perhaps... Kaei.
You have a choice... you can move on, if you wish, Rein. I offer a deal... you need not accept it. The offer is open to any who wish it.

-She took an uneasy breath.- "I'm not so sure about this...frankly it sounds rather to good too be true." -She said gently hoping he would understand. She crouched and set his pen of the floor softly.-
