FrozenPhoenix32 Nelowulf Speaking of which FP, after I come back, everyone's going to Geonosis, right? err yeah i guess. though im not sure what a bunch like us would be doing on an abandoned planet... Oh mother of pearl, that reminds me, i didnt update the Colosseum heros! im shure its not totaly abandond the genosisns probbaly still live there.

Okay, I know we ahven't used this in while, but here we go.
Anyone have suggestions for the month of October? I have a few, but does anyone else have any ideas for fun?
My ideas:
-Art contest, with me being part of it, giving everyone a chance to beat on me.
-Halloween party involving live music at GAT's house.
-Creation of a thread which has a "weekly topic" to debate on.
anyone else have ideas for the guild?

I concurr with the House party, but it'd have to be some time in the week cuz no one gets on on the weekend, and at a time that'll work for us all.
we can't havae it ON halloween, cuz Gaia has it's own party for that...with items and zombie hunting... pirate

I was thinking of a military strategy thread... every week or 2 weeks we'd bring up a new battle, like Geonosis, or Kashyyk, or Yavin IV, etc, and analyze them. What would be the advantage of the Seperatists if the Jedi were executed as planned, before the Republic could save them? how was the battle cleverly orchestrated by Palpatine? how could the small forces based in kashyyk defend the island from seaborn invaders so easily? etc, etc. we could propose changes in a situation, and the consequences of those changes, and the ultimate consequences (shifts in power, political consequences, you get the idea).
we wouldn't necessarily be bound to movie-battles, but they would be most accessable. we could do the rebel takeover of coruscant, or the Yhuzzan Vong takeover, and other book-based battles...

Actually, that is somewhat unique.
When I asked for suggestions, I basically was waiting for other people's answers to see how many ideas they had I was having.
Actually, while we have your "battle analysis" thread, I was kind of thinking of making sort of like a weekly debate thread.
I dunno. Would combining them be worthwhile?

I have a suggestion.
If we do the halloween party, we should do some kind of twist celebrating the new guild things.
Cheese Star, SOTF, BoV, etc.

Would combining them be worthwhile? i dunno. part of me thinks it should be weekly or bi-weekly, to keep things moving. and another part thinks it should be kinda like the galactic mysteries thread, where you bring things up as you think of them. problem with that is it'll be obviously less structured, so extended discussions will be difficult to maintain...

Well, my idea of a debate thread was geared towards having an issue, such as hypothetical situations about what would happen if this was or was not present. Since battle analysis relies on such things, it seemed to fit nicely.
It would be a weekly thing, but ah dunno.
sometimes the debate thing sounds almost like a colloseum match...
