Hayaharu stiffened and stared down at her knees for a few moments in which time her jaw grew tight. The accursed maid had done it again and here she was sat in scarcely anything and he walked in, there was no solace anywhere in this household with a little demon for a maid!
"You will never be a geisha!" She howled in fury as she leapt to her feet and darted passed Koniryu and into the corridor, "I will make sure you are a maid until you die!" She shrieked as she continued up the stairs and soon grew silent as the loud 'splash' of water could be heard - she'd evidently entered the refilled bath and was in no way prepared to come back out.
"Well," The maid smiled courteously as she appeared through another door and motioned to the teapot, "Tea?" She enquired as she turned her gaze towards Koniryu, the mischevious glint still in her eyes.

Seeing that she was still wearing the same thing as before, he looked vastly uncomfortable and looked away at once. THis... was seriously getting on his nerves. Twice he had appeared before this woman in various states of undress and he was rather proper minded in things like this. Hayaharu's howling frightened Reika and Yue, who huddled together, the Elysian's eyes huge on her little face as the Geisha hurried past Koni and then up the stairs. Seems it was time for her bath finally.
His ears flattened in irritation as he sat down in a chair close by Reika, stroking the top of her hair to show her it would truly be all right. Sooner or later. Why it really going to be this difficult to just find out more information about Shoichi? Geez. As Chu returned, he gave her a careful look before he nodded finally. "Aye.. tea will do fine. And perhaps a bite to eat?" He was starving and he knew Reika only had a little snack so she had to be as well. Yue.. well, Yue was always hungry.

"But of course." Chu poured the rest of the tea into the cups and then excused herself once more to prepare the meals, it would take her quite a bit of time to make something suitable for both Hayaharu and his tastes considering that she was unfamiliar with his likes and dislikes but she would do as she could - nevertheless, she still maintained that infuriating grin, it was only a matter of time before the geisha lost some control.
Alas, for the time being the Geisha appeared to be unavailable and every now and then only the small patter of feet could be heard upstairs as she appeared to navigate her way around the upper floors to both dress herself and fix her hair accordingly - she couldn't make ornate styles but she could at least braid it behind her head...

Quinn trotted quickly across the choppy waters, her chocobo 'Wark'-ing in consternation at being out in this weather the entire way. She was deposited rather unceremoniously on the Gambino side of the ocean and her chocobo dashed into the barn, letting the door slam shut.
She stood, tapping her foot and swishing her tail impatiently, waiting for Therin and the rest of the group to make it over safely.

Koni wasn't a picky eater, not truly. There were just a few things he wouldn't eat. His own or a lot of meat. He ate some but it wasn't truly his favorite this to snack upon. Picking up his cup of tea, he took a sip even though he knew it would be really hot. It was just something he wanted to do because that searing heat made him feel less tired. At least for a little while. His eyes focused on Reika and Yue, who were now drinking from their own cup of tea. Seemed they had gotten over Hayaharu's shouting. Though he could understand why she wasn't exactly happy with her maid. She's a rther sneaky little thing. He'd have to keep a better eye on her.
The sounds of movement abovestairs made him glance upward a few times. Probably working on getting 'prettified' as Akiya liked to say, that Hayaharu. Ah well, she was trained in her arts like he was trained to be how he was. It wasn't like he faulted her for it, so he had no other choice than to just get used to it.

[hayaharu]
She wans't actually getting 'prettified', has she spent that long in doing such a thing she would have been up there fore hours. Rather, she was simply slipping on a loose fitting kimono of an emerald green with simple gold vines woven into it - alongside this she wore matching slippers and her hair was no more ornate than a long braid that reached to her waist.
Other than this, she made no attempt to apply any make-up and instead she simply gave a nod of satisfaction towards the mirror before descending the stairwell and once more entering the lounge where she soon reclined on one of the pillows with her eyes planted on the cup, seemingly thoughtful - what to do with her little maid, now there was a question.
"Forgive the dishonourable acts performed by my maid, she is a girl of few talents."

hearing her come down the steps, his eyes shifted over int hat direction. He wasn't overly aware that she was lacking in materials needed to make herself up as she had looked in the tavern, but he was pleased to see her as she was. He couldn't help it. He felt more at ease with people who were more natural in both inside and outside appearances. "Tis fine... she's a rather sneaky thing.. but mayhap she was bored..." Or just a scheming little imp. He wasn't sure which yet. "Are ye feeling more refreshed after bathing?"
Reika thought Hayaharu looked really pretty this way too and was curious if there was anything she couldn't look good in. Wow, some people were just so lucky. "Yer maid went off to make some food..."

Rising up easily into the air like a helium filled ballon, Mirror and Therin flew against the rain and wind just a couple meters above the churning waters of the pass. He didn't want to be too far up in case of lightning and he didn't want to fly too low in case of large waves. So he stayed a little under the middle.
For Mirror he could feel his mind tiring as they travelled across the waters and it almost seemed to take forever. But soon enough, the bright lights of Gambino soon blazed in his goggled eyes and he scavenged the shore with his sight for Quinn and the others.
Um...Not there...Not there...There! There she was. Mirror gave a tiring smile and descended gently to the sandy ground. Therin was let down upon the ground, his fur dripping wet, and Mirror had just let himself fall from the sky and to the group once he was a couple feet away from he ground.
Landing with clumsy footing, the Al Sylian straightened himself up and began to rub his temples. The muscle on Therin weighed more than he thought! That creature was strong alright, a good companion for the druid.
Giving a smile, Mirror replied to Quinn, "Safe landing, m'am."

[hayaharu]
"Don't eat the Oysters..." Hayaharu muttered abruptly as she glanced between Elysian and summoner before offering a small, yet demure smile towards the man (or almost man) before her, "And I am sufficiently refreshed regardless of the chaos caused by a certain welp." She muttered before shaking away the disapproving tone - she was at least a little bit pleased to say that he seemed to appreciate the manner in which she presented herself this time.
"And I hope that regardless of the slight issues, you are feeling refreshed as well?" She persisted and shot a vicious glare towards the doorway from which the maid promptly left - it seemed that she was fishing for more things to belittle the geisha.

"I dinnae like them much anyway, so ye have nothing to worry about when it comes to oysters." Though he seemed a bit amused at the warning, taking another sip of his tea, a smirk twitching his lips. The maid was so asking for more trouble than she would know how to dig herself out of later. It made him wonder how on earth she would wish to do something like that. "I am pleased to hear ye are feeling that way... and aye, i am feeling rather refreshed now that I'm warm and not chilled and wet."
His nose wrinkled a bit in distaste before he looked over at the maid as she headed out in a hurry with Hayaharu's stare. "Some dinnae know when to quit, I suppose..."

The rain was getting rather annoying and the wind as well, but he did his best to keep moving, his large wings beating as best they could. it wasn't a struggle to get from the Tavern to where they needed to be, just a bit of an annoyance since the wind was rather strong. He wondered what was up with it.. the weather hadn't been this bad before...
Trying not to think about it too much, he followed after Mirror and when he went down, he went down with him, landing a bit away. Since he didn't have anyone to carry, it might his trip easier. Sometimes, in such conditions, it was hard to navigate with another body. Shaking out his wings, though it was a stupid move cause they just got wet again anyway, they tucked back in and disappeared once more. Letting down his hair again, he looked around the area. "Seems we made it okay so far... now to wait for the rest of them..."

"WARK!" The blue chocobo nearly tripped over a whitecap, wings flaring to the side as he tried to keep his footing on the wildly uneven water. Odilen huddled on the bird's back, her arms wrapped tightly around the two familiars and the reins as well. "Come on, you can do it!" she urged the blue chocobo.
"Kweh..." The chocobo lowered his head and charged forward, leaping in great strides, jumping waves and side-slipping down the crests of foam until, finally, the beach was ahead of them.
"Oh, thank goodness," Odilen said under her breath as the bird's feet hit sand. "Thank you so much!" she added, much louder, getting off the chocobo with wobbly legs, patting it profusely on the beak. She put BoCo and Spark down (the familiars immediately darted to shelter under her cloak and skirts gain) and fumbled a large handful of damp greens from her pouch.
"Kweh!" The chocobo gobbled them eagerly, then walked up the beack to curl among some bushes, obvoiusly not interested in going back to the tavern just yet. It had waterproof feathers, it'd be fine.
Odilen adjusted her cloak again, smoothing the waterproof fabric down, then ran to join the others. "Let's hurry before we all drown in our boots!"

[hayaharu]
"You have no idea." She muttered darkly as she flicked her gaze towards the doorway, in her opinion the kitchen was far too silent and it was only after a moments debate that she finally rose to her feet and approached the door...as she pushed it open there were innumerable scuttles as the girl tried to get out of sight.
"Chu-chan," The Geisha paused and her expression became rigid and almost imperialist in quality. Her lips were pursed lightly and she resembled more of a statue than a humble hostess, "I wish for you to take a message to the silk merchants in Durem, take your coat and hurry along - let them no I wish to pick up my kimono tomorrow at the latest." She smiled coolly at the look upon the girls face and congratulated herself on the mental triumph - it was obvious that the girl would have to stay out of the house for at least two hours to make it seem like she had actually gone to Durem.
"Run along then." Hayaharu dismissed, her gaze sharp as she followed the girl through the kitchen and towards the door - moments later the door slammed shut and the patter of feet could be heard as the regal geisha appeared through the kitchen doorway once more, sandwiches in hand...the maid hadn't been cooking at all.
"There are reasons for it, I assure you - it is an endless battle." She mused as she lowered herself onto the pillow and set the tray down, "I apologise for the inconvenience and I hope you like coselaw..."

Mirror turned his wet face to Akiya and tiredly grinned up at the big man. Looking at the Al Sylian, anyone could tell that the little body was partially drained...Mirror was wobbling a bit on his feet on the sand.
No one really knew...But Mirror had a deathly fear against bodies of water. (Which was one of the reasons why he was stranded at Turtle's Paradise.) But because of the urgency of the situation, the Al Sylian forced himself across. Shaking slightly, Mirror was glad that he was wearing goggles otherwise the others might see the fear in his eyes.
"Akiya!" Mirror drawled in a dizzy manner, "Who's left in getting here?"

Quinn did a mental head count and turned back to the Al Sylian, mounting Therin as she replied, "Zayn hasnt arrived yet, but I'm sure that fiesty Summon of his gave him a hassle at the door. He'll be along, I'm sure and he knows where we are headed... Come, it is past time we were off."
With that, she goaded Therin in the direction of the glowing lights of the casino.
