She swayed a bit as she watched Musei. He was so cute when he was curious! She chuckled a bit and shook her head. Ah to be young and curious about the world..And that soon caused a sigh. Before you knew how the world..really was..
Her thoughts where torn as she heard her name being called out. She looked to Tsuzuki..then Musei. Side to side before she leaned back to look to the side then the other. She blinked as her gaze settled on a heavy garbbed person. She squinted a bit then blinked. Sliding from the door she stepped back outside and just..stared at the figure. No..way..She clenched her teeth. That was NOT who she thought it was..was it? It was. Taizen. Oh good grief has he chased after me to chew me out? Yeah..that was her first thought. Cringing up she looked off to the side, making sure to hide her wounded face.
"T-.." No..He was a general now..Probably just here on war business. "Master Taizen..what are you doing here? Business in the fire nation?" Her heart was pounding feverishly in her chest. She was..happy to see him. Terrified and happy at the same time. But she just could not bring herself to look at him. She still, even though she had thought it was best for him, felt like she had betrayed him by leaving.

Taizen had a smile flicker onto his face as he was acknowledged, "Niima! He called, running to her, the heat seemed to be absolutely nothing now that he could see Niima, his vision immediatley cleared, and things he though he wondered were real, could now be placed in the world of fact. except of course, a flash of red that vanished as Niima turned her head. "General? That's how you treat me now...?" Taizen asked, teasingly, using lots of self-restraint to approach her without breaking into a full sprint. "Why would you think I'd have business with anyone, after you just took off like that!" Taizen scolded as he reached her, howeveer, his body became rigid, and his eyes traveled across her face, she expected to hide her face? From him? he could see... just a bit of cracked skin, a tinge of red far too red to be from merely excitement.
"Niima, your face!" Taizen all but shouted, he reached out to grab her, he felt some sort of need to shake the woman. He wouldn't but, if anything he wanted to simply touch her, to somehow make contact on the mental plane through the physical. This of course, could not happen. Taizen felt releif, happyness, anger, sadness, frustration... With Niima, came that onslaught of emotions with which battered Taizen's insides, spreading the fear that there were no hope of it ending...

"N..No..It's just ..proper." As he got closer she felt like shrinking away but she held her ground. It was only when she was grabbed that her head turned to him, her good eye raising up to him. She nearly started crying at the mere sight of him. Her eyes searched his face as she mumbled. "It's..just a spar wound. Was going to go get it healed.."
She literally shook in his grasp. She was struggling so hard not to cry. She felt so guilty..but so happy..She yanked from his grasp and her arms went about his neck. She hugged Taizen with all her might. "Taizen..." She didn't know what else to say. Sorry just did not cut it. She knew she hurt him. It hurt her just as much. But....he knew the reason why she was sure. But..he searched for her? He came to find her? She wasn't sure why but she was still happy to see him.

The angry glare on his face shifted to suprise, and then tender concern as she hugged him. He listened to her story, ignoring the comment of 'proper.' His eyes scanned the inside of the hut, the hut looked like a tiny portal to his home, though he did not really hope to enjoy the view. His eyes glanced between the firebender, and the water bender. Taizen closed his eyes, exterminating the anger attempting to start in his gut with releif. "You know how sparring usually hurts you..." Taizen said, gently removing Niima's arms from his neck, he brought his hand up to her uninjured cheek and lightly carresed it. "Thank you for atleast having the decency to look after yourself... But... Can I heal you...?" He asked, his voice soothing, and the sadness in his eyes expressed that he wished only for her best. Normally, he'd threaten her to let him heal her. He would have healed her against her will, still the urge to do so layed barred deep inside him. Taizen's right arm held Niima close, as though afraid that if he let go, she'd take off running. Was this why he asked if he could heal her...? because he thought she was prepared to run away again?

She chuckled faintly. "How odd to hear you say that when you've volunteer me for spars in the past.." She felt a sob catch in her throat as he touched her face. It was..less then what she expected. A smack. A slap..something physical for her just..leaving him. And yet..he was caressing at her unwounded flesh and she found herself leaning into the touch. At his words she paused and looked over to the hut. "In..truth it is Musei who has looked after me. I had no real want to come here and get healed...After all I am unfamiliar with this woman."
Her eyes closed, letting the darkness of her fear and contentment capture her. Much like his grasp on her. He held her in such a way it was as if he thought she would leave. At the moment that truly was the farthest thing in her mind. "If..you want to.." She would not deny him and only hope the waterbender woman would understand..

Taizen had to smile at her words, it seemed almost unfair for her to bring that up... Taizen's smile remained kind, though he had to blink a few times to keep his own eyes from wetting. "Then, I'm glad you had family... to look after you while I was gone..." Taizen soothed, he was over joyed to have Niima there, in his arms, and wished he could express the joy in some way. He glanced back up into the hut once more, finding Musei, "Thank you Musei... For protecting Niima from herself for me." Taizen looked back to Niima. The arm that held Niima itched to reach for the skin of water, and heal her. "I Don't want to let go of you right now..." Taizen admitted, hoping that Niima would forgive him for putting her in an awkward position, the hand that had caressed Niima's face had looped around her arm to her shoulder, embracing her, while the other hand uncorked the skin of water to form a glove around his hand, he reached up and brought Niima's burned flesh into his gloved hand resting his head next to hers in the embrace. His eyes closed as he focused on the warmth... On the healing... On the love he had for Niima. The glove must have surely been glowing brightly, because Taizen poured subconscious energy into it. Energy that wished for Niima's well being, energy that was otherwise inaccesible awake.

She blinked as he confessed that to her. Okay..something like that coming from Taizen..even if a joke..Her face went red as she leaned against him, her arms wrapping about his waist. "Then ..don't.." It was so simply..so softly said. In truth she didn't want him to let go either. His warmth was missed. His presences. She enjoyed her time with Musei but she couldn't help but miss Taizen deeply.
Her eye closed as his head rested against hers. As the warmth of the water..of his healing caressed her burnt skin. For some reason it felt so..much warmer. So endearing. It caused tears to swell at the corner of her eyes. Fingers softly curled into the parka. She never expected this..she never expected to see him again. And yet here he was..caringly healing her wounds with such warmth that it tightened her heart.

Musei stood there. He wanted to reply, but he didn't know how to. They seemed so...calm and peaceful. It was that exact calm that made the air around them awkward.
Musei managed to slide past them, and sat outside the hut. He didn't know what to think...they had such a connection that the world around them melted into nothingness. Could Musei, too, melt into nothingness? Given time, would he become a backdrop?
He was happy for Niima. He truly was. He could tell how empty she seemed without the man, and the glow she wore on her face was...it was elegant.
He remained outside, and would stay that way until someone came out. He was going to leave the two to...whatever they needed. He needed to think as well. He wanted to protect Niima, but he didn't have a reason to now. Now...he was the kid again. The runt.

The water evaporated after moments of the healing, the shining brightly before dissapearing, leaving Taizen's hand resting on Niima's fresh skin, it was so soft... and warm... Taizen removed his hand from Niima's face, and held her more securely. Taizen opened his eyes to get a better look at the woman he loved. "Are you well...?" He asked, enjoying her smell, although, now, his mind began to think; they couldn't stay wrapped in eachothers arms in a doorway the whole day...
...
Could they?

She wasn't sure how to answer. Her heart was beating feverishly. Eyes closed one could think easily that she was in a peaceful slumber as she leaned there against Taizen. But eventually her eyes opened. The pain..the cracked flesh and burn..where gone. And those dual colored eyes could see. And the first thing they spied..was him. A smile touched her lips and she gave a nod. "I..am. Thank you, Taizen." Thank you for healing me..For returning to me. Wait..did he return to her. Her hands rose, fingers sliding down Taizen's arms as she stepped back. Her fingers eventually finding his. "But Taizen...Why are you here? I mean..you..your village..Won't they be mad? Or are you plan on taking me and Musei back with you? I..Don't understand.."
As she spoke his name, she looked off to where her little brother went. He was..sulking? Why? She thought he would be happy to see Taizen as well. Well not as happy as she but still. Hehe. Her eyes returned to Taizen, seeking his gaze that she found so..beautiful. But truly they had changed. They seemed..more clear. More crystal like..or has it been so long that she had looked to them that they just seemed so much more now?
Her cheeks flared in color as she realized how utterly corny that was. And she was sure if Taizen could read minds he'd be scolding her silly...

Taizen shook his head in answer to Niima's question. "The village... Does not care so much that I have left. They know I will return soon, and the exact date is to be left unnanounced." Taizen said, assuring Niima that his villages need for him was not as great as it seemed. "Niima, you left without a word... And I was angry..." He admitted, a sullen look on his face as he followed Niima's gaze to Musei, and then back into the two orbs of distinct color. "I... Do want you to come with me to the south pole... But, perhaps, after the war... I want you to be safe..." His gaze returned to Musei, "I want you, and Musei, to be safe. That is the main reason I'm here..." Was it? Taizen had to look away from Niima. He was torn between his tribe, and Niima. He hadn't cared naught for his tribe! It was Niima he truly loved! But, to turn his back on his village... That was something despicable, something irreputable, he wanted to show Niima the world he'd grown up in, she'd shown him some of hers. Taizen didn't want to bring Niima anywhere, he wanted to be with her wherever she was.

Tsuzuki looked up towards the new arrival. This was different even for her. She didn't want to break up the reunion or anything but, at the slightest mention of the war, her hair stood on end. Despite the firey pain in her muscles, she raised her arms and lowered herself into a defensive possition. She usually wasn't like this at all but the waterbender made her nervous. "General, because of the delecate state of our nations, I'm going to have to ask you what you're doing here," she stated rather than asked as she was implying. It was obvious what he was doing her Niima-wise but she was hoping that there wasn't any alterior motive that she wasn't aware of.

The word "General," brought Taizen back to his senses, the ones of the world outside his bubble of him and Niima. He looked up to the voice, it was the firebender, it took half a second for him to realize that he was still in enemy territory, and that "Friend of my friend" Didn't always quite work. His eyes narrowed. "I'm here because Niima is here... Hopefully, that is enough for you...?" Taizen ansked coldly, his eyes which had lit up and filled with joy at having found Niima, darkened, and seemed as solid as stone when he set his eyes on Tsuzuki. His body had become rigid, and his hold on Niima became a bit tighter, he glanced towards Musei, would she attack him if she deemed him dangerous...?

She found her cheeks growing warm at Taizen's words. He did come for her! For her and Musei. She almost squealed out in sheer joy..until she heard Tsuzuki. Her head swayed to the side as she attempted to look at Tsuzuki, kind of hard to when Taizen was holding her so protectively. "Miss Tsuzuki it's alright. Taizen means no harm. He's just ...returning to me and Musei." Her eyes lowered and she turned to look up at him. "Taizen..she's been very kind and protective to us since our arrival. Please..calm down." She whispered playfully up to him, oh yes she was going to tease him..now..of all times. "Plus I need to breath."
He was squeezing her a bit tightly but it was said in quite the playful gesture. However, she grew serious as she looked back to Tsuzuki. "If you plan on attacking him then Myself and Musei shall take Taizen and leave the fire nation now.." Her eyes then turned to Musei, asking with her eyes..was that okay with him?

Tsuzuki relaxed and smiled warmly at them all, "No, I wouldn't attack anybody without a good reason. It's just this war stuff is really nerve-wracking, you know? And I have to keep up appearances for the Fire Nation as well as keep relationships between myself and foreigner friends good. You know," she nodded towards Taizen, "as much as I do that being in charge isn't always such a good thing."
She didn't want to mention that she was technically the commodore of an elete section of the Fire Navy. It felt weird for people outside of her nation to know who she was and how much power she actually held.
