Meroko nodded. "Yeah..." she said and looked down again with a small smile. "Unless...there's someone coming to take your soul. That's why I was so intent on getting this book." she said. "Because I don't know what I can do to stop them. I could turn them into ghosts, but then I would just get in trouble. I can't think of what to do. That's why, you need to have the surgury as fast as possible." she said then looked at Mitsuki with a smile. "Don't worry Mitsuki, you're not going to die anytime soon, not with me around anyways."

Sora smiled again. "Ditto." he said.
Takuto grinned from ear to ear. "Thank you, Meroko, Sora..."
"You're so lucky, Mitsuki... Having future sight." Sora said quietly and stared at the floor, still smiling weakly.

Meroko looked at Sora, then at Takuto, then at Mitsuki. She smiled. She was glad that she had found Takuto and Mitsuki again, and she was glad that she had met Sora. A tear of hapiness ran down her face. "So Sora, does the book say anything about a shinigami?" Meroko asked, realizing that they still didn't know if Mitsuki was safe yet.

Mitsuki Leaned on takuto's shoulder.
Wakaouji-sensei walked into the room. "Mitsuki-chan it's time for your opperation." He said.

Sora looked over the book. He squinted hard. Then, without warning, slammed it shut and put his hand over his eyes. Then, very slowly, Sora said, " ..... There will be a sinigami coming but it doesn't say when..."
Takuto looked at Mitsuki, then at Dr. Wakaouji(who can't hear Sora).
"But Mitsuki will be having the operation, so, for all we know, it could be when she gets old..." Sora said reassuringly. He didn't bother to mention all the other possibilities, no sense in worrying her with things that probably wouldn't happen...
Takuto relaxed a little and gave Mitsuki one last hug. "Don't worry." he said and stepped away from the bed.

Wakouji-sensei called in the nurses and wheeled Mitsuki's bed out to the surgery room. [ bleh idk... ] After a few hours the opperation was a success and Mitsuki was sleeping soundly. The Nurses wheeled her back into the room and let Mitsuki rest.
After an Hour Mitsuki woke up to find Takuto asleep in a chair by her bed Akiko slumped against the wall, & Meroko & Sora gone.

Takuto yawned and opened his eyes. He gave Mitsuki a tired smile. "Hey." Takuto stretched and yawned again, looking slightly more awake now.

Meroko had been sitting ontop of the hospital. Sora said that there was a shinigami coming...when could that be? She stood up and went back into Mitsuki's room and noticed that she was awake. "Mitsuki? are you ok?" she asked, concerned.

Mitsuki Smiled Brightly. "I'm Fine!!" She said in a hoarse voice since her throat was still healing from the surgery.
Akiko woke up and rubbed her eyes trying to get the sleep out of them. She looked over at Mitsuki who was Smiling Brightly. She walked over to her bed and asked "Hey sweetie you okay?"
Mitsuki's smile got bigger and She nodded her head.

"Great." said Takuto. "Huh?" he looked around. "Where'd Sora get to? Ah, well, guess he left..."
Suddenly, a white arctic fox walked into the hospital room and hopped up on Mitsuki's bed. In it's mouth was a small bouquet of nadeshiko and sakura blossoms.

Mitsuki giggled as she took the bouquet. "Thanks Sora-kun" She said soft but sweetly as she petted his head.

Meroko smiled as she watched Sora bring Mitsuki the flowers. She then realized that she had to go back to heaven for a bit. "Well, I see that Sora has things under control for the time being. I have to go, but I'll come back to visit as soon as I can, I promiss! If you need me, just call out and I'll come." she said with a big smile. "Oh, I almost forgot," Meroko said as she gave Mitsuki a pink chain with a feather on it. "Take care, Mitsuki." She snapped her fingers and turned back into an angel. Then she spread her wings and flew up, back to heaven.
