Temari gave a satisfied nod and grabbed an over coat. Will I look too casual? She thought with a loud sigh, she walked back over to her closet and pulled out something that was more for work, but still conciderably casual. A nice purple blouse and black skirt would do. Quickly changing into that, she didnt bother to look at herself and headed back to the other two.
Knocking on the door, she pushed it open and waved. "Starting to eat without me? How rude." She grinned.

"Just getting things ready." Chouji said and pointed to a box. "Those have the egg rolls you like in them." He pulled a bag over and two two bottles out. "Hmm, soda or sake? I don't think it would be a good idea to get drunk before the meeting, though a little won't hurt."

Lee stood there patienly, while Naruto talked to the new worker, who was apparently named Gaara. He put off on commenting that it was proper to give your own name before asking someone else's. Lee never judged people on looks, but Gaara was... interesting. His eyes ere vey dark around them, which had to be either a love for lots of eyeliner, or this person had not slept once in their life. Lee figured it was the eyeliner.

" I'm Uzumaki Naruto, and this guy here is fuzzy brows, I mean Lee. Well I'll see you at the meeting then." After taking his leave of Gaara he asked Lee " Should we go to the meeting room now or...wait we still have to tell Sakura-san. I have no idea what she looks like so you'll have to tell me when we find her."
" I'll just have a small glass of Sake. You know I don't hold liquor well....but I guess I'm not as bad as Lee. You remember that one time." he said as a smirk spread across his face. The memory of that night would never be erased from his mind. He didn't know if that was a good or bad thing.

"I try not to." Chouji muttered. "He just added to the list of things I never wanted to see or experience in my life." He poured Shikamaru some sake and handed him the cup. After doing the same for himself, he poured a small amount into Temaris cup in case she wanted any. He grabed the nearest box and scooped out some pork fried rice onto his plate then snatched an egg roll from the box beside Temari. "I heard another kid joined us while I was gone. Was it a blond boy? I saw him earlier."

Lee followed Naruto, and said "I will come with you to tell her, though she is not hard to miss. If I am correct... she still has pink hair. Green eyes."

Gaara blinked as the pair left. That blonde was rather rude about the eyebrows boy... Gaara figured he'd rather have thick eyebrows than no eyebrows at all. Shrugging, he went inside his room, shutting the door behind him. He figured he'd unpack the little stuff he brought before he headed off to the meeting.

Temari looked at her cup for a moment. "You know this stuff tastes like s**t, right?" She shuddered, remebering the first time she had the clear liquid. Giving Chouji a joking glare when he snached an egg roll, she pulled one out herself and got chicken as well.

" Yeah, his name is Uzumaki Naruto. You remember the Uzumakis right? They were friends with my dad. Well they all got wiped out in a massacre just a few days ago. The only one left was that kid so dad decided to give him to me as a birthday gift. He's a nice kid...a little dim witted...but nice."
Naruto made his way back to the lobby where he saw a girl with pink hair and green eyes. He went over to talk to her " Hey, you're Haruno Sakura right? Shikamaru wanted me to tell everyone that there will be a meeting at 8 in the meeting room so...yeah..."

All throughout Naruto and Lee's conversation with Gaara, Neji had silently been watching from his comfortable place leaning against the wall. Lee he definitely knew from a number of previous missions, but he didn't recognize Naruto. Then Neji remembered the news about the other new member and was able to place Naruto to the description he had heard. The boy looked younger than he had imagined.
Neji nodded to show his understanding of the news about the meeting. Casually he checked his watch. It wasn't so long until 8:00. There was still plenty of time for him to pick up a notebook and have a small snack in his room, which he decided to do after his company had departed. By then it was ten to 8, so he then headed down to the meeting room.

Shino smiled at Akamaru's antics. "Oh I guess so. It was the first one I found availbe in this part of the city. You wouldn't believe how long I kept looking." Shino lossened his shoulders and open one of the larger siutcases. He got some casual clothes out and then turned towards Kiba. "You don't mind if I take a quick shower right? I haven't had the chance to all day."

"If you don't like it, don't drink it. Here," Chouji said as he grabbed the bottle of soda and set it next to her. "I know this sake isn't the best, but I didn't have enough cash to get the good stuff and all this food." he shook his head a bit and looked at Shikamaru. "So, have you found anything useful for him to do or is he just your errand boy?"
"Oh, no, go ahead. Kiba said and headed out to the living room. "I'll just wait here and make sure Akamaru doesn't tear your stuff apart." He sat down on the couch to wait. "You should have told me you were looking for a place to stay. I have an extra room..."

Temari shook her head, "No, you've got it all wrong. I just meant I don't like the stuff. I'm not a huge fan of alcohol either way." She shrugged, opening her soda and taking a sip. "Besides, I wouldn't really expect you to after the gifts you brought." She smiled, taking another bite out of her egg roll.

Chouji blushed a bit. "What can I say, I like making people happy." And yet I'm with a business that isn't exactly legal. Sure the hotel is normal, but what we actually do isn't. "I don't drink too often as I get drunk easily, but it's nice to forget once in awhile. I just wish that worked that night with Lee."

" Yeah, I'm sure we saw enough of him that night to give us all nightmares for the rest of our lives. I think he's the only one that doesn't remember it. Anyway, this new kid Naruto, I'm sure he has some potential since he is the son of the 4th generation boss of the Uzumaki clan. He wants to prove himself so I think if I pair him up with someone really good for this next mission he will work his hardest and we can see what he can really do. I could put him with Uchiha Sasuke or this new kid Gaara seems to have a lot of potential as well. We might have to watch out for him though. He seems a bit...unstable. I know if I just have Naruto do errands he will tire of it quickly and start annoying me so I'm going to give him a shot. I have everything worked out...I just need to place everyone on teams. I'll figure them out by 7:59."
