I think Metal bands who act like brainless monkeys hsould put down their instruments. They only playing music the same reason Ozzy is on TV, to get famous nad have more money. If you only do it just for money, sex, drugs, and fame, then your not a true musician.

If you only do it just for money, sex, drugs, and fame, then your not a true musician. i strongly agree, I think that a musician should want to do it for a cause, for doing what they love and showing it to others. They should write lyrics that really hit the heart and to make an impact with there music as a whole, while having every aspect and instrument of the band play and stand out to its fullist

I think metallica should just stop playing music if there going to come out with crapp like sant anger. that was metallica at its worse, that wasnt even metal. they should go back to kill em all and master of puppets

Metallica of course, also that wont happen because they are sussposed to be releasing an album in 2006 unfortunitly. But the band that need to quit above all others is...
Circle of Dead Children. No talent, same riffs and drummin patterns, overall its pure s**t.

I'd say all the countless hardcore bands that are flooding the scene with the same riffs and the same songs as everyone else. I'm not against hardcore at all, its just that music is meant to have a meaning or at least attempt to, yet all these cookie cutter bands are the new boy bands of metal. Is it just me or does this society nowadays seem to be running out of ideas? Music is taken from past hits, to insure sucsess, movies are starting to get to the point of every other movie is a re-done classic or a pre/sequel. The thing that pisses me off the most is that there is a ton of original art and music out there, yet it gets overlooked because people want success, now.

I agree, Metallica should kick the bucket. Deffinatly Ozzy...He's had is day, Now he's a deliquaint geriatric who can't sing to save his skin. I don't know what you're all talking about, Superjoint Ritual isn't so bad...Six Feet Under I think has had it. All of their songs sound the same...Ughhh, I think Cannibal Corpse is done in as well. They're getting very repetitive.

Midoriku Broken Angel Yes, Metallica and Aerosmith, they both have enough money, and they are both full of old people...they need to stop...as for Ozzy, I have much respect for that old tatterd body of a man, being able to do the things he does live, at his age. He can stay as long as he wants. yeah you got a point there, but still now hes just around to make money, not for the music.

Bands full ov old people that continue to go on....Age is apparently not the stopping mark for bands. Look at Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Iced Earth <kind ov>, and Morbid Angel.
All old, but having no intention to quit! But it certianly shows when you are doing the music for the money, and not the essence ov metal.
The Metal Spirit is apparently dead for a lot ov bands out there; it would be the money all the new bands look for. Kind ov a sad realisation, isn't it?
