"Ah" He continued with the breadcrumbs. "I just don't like castles, everything looks the same to me."

"I remember hell... They didn't like me there."

Erica chuckled giving Thorn a glance back. "You don't want to go to Hell, at least not in a nun or priest costume with bibles and phamplets." Her head tilted in keen interest. "did you just say library?"

Erica grinned, "it was. We'll have to dress up again."

"Erica Soltari." The voice echoed from within the walls.
"You've brought friends."

The cloaked figure stepped out from the wall, as if it were not there.
"It is less than wise to enter a place like this, where the rules are unknown to you." The figure continued walking, looming over the gathered. "For instance, ill falls upon those who do not pay tribute to the lord of the realm."

He raised one arm, the hand hidden under the cloak. A black orb appeared, the core shifting and moving with a murky light. "Did you not know that little Ora believes you dead? Or, at the very least, that she would have means of tracking those who have entered her room without her permission? Honestly, how you entered is a slight mystery."

"The pieces long to lose. If she tracks you, hiding will not be an issue, but this is a pointless venture. I care not if she kills you, nor if you are aware. What I do care of is your entering here, and your leaving."

Upon hearing her last statement, he decided not to forcibly evict her. Instead he laughed.
"And what would make you so sure to this claim? She would never admit to loving either of us as parents, but she seeks my approval, and merely your acceptance."

"You may know more of her childhood innocence, but you fail to comprehend the time she spent with me. Her age is not an illusion. I raised her, taught her, gave her the skills and abilities she has now. My apprentice is more my daughter than yours. Now leave this place."
