"I am well aware of who sails these seas and who the most feircest and dangerous pirates. I have memorized the list of top 100 bounties that are still in effect. The Captain of the Vampirates though is a small fish compared to some of the sharks that patrol these waters. His bounty though to you would seem rather high, which is 13,000 gold. There are some with bounties of over 500,000 gold though. Just wait and let me show you what I am speaking of."

Unfamiliar to the pirate life, she felt it only proper to respect the captain and see what he meant. Yet, she still was uncertain about the other crew. Continuing to listen, her thoughts often interrupted. Well, you seem to know what you're doing, so I'll let you prove that.. On the other hand, that would explain why you didn't react to what I said earlier, but there's no doubt I'll join in on the battle.

Maria sighed and turned to the captian. "Vampirates are not to be ttaken lightly. Not with me abord anyway." She smiled. "I know the captain of the Vampirate ship. Don't let anything fool you." She knew what she said was true, but no one would head her warning. She went into the sleeping corridors and pulled out her bag, straping it ito er shouder and pulling on her cloak, then she went back on deck.

Lilla watched as Maria went and came back from below deck, but kept her determination on wanting to get a closer look at what Maria seemed to know much about. Lilla's instincts told her there was something different about Maria when she first saw her, but as usual, she wanted to give everyone the benefit of the doubt before judging them.

((sorry, I didn't know you already sent the signal...I guess it was supposed to be sent when George went back down?))

Jarek couldn't wait any longer, he had the perfect shot.
Just as Scott came down to him, he fired.
Kwomph! He neatly dislocated the bottom half of the rudder from the other ship.
Kwomph-Ckrashk! He bit the mast half way up and watched as it topled upon itself, flipped a 180 and fell straight down towards the enemy ship.
!#@%#@#%!!! There was now a decent sized hole in the top of their ship, it didn't go all the way through.
"NICE SHOT!!!! ... but you missed that guy over there..." George said pointing.

Takes a moment to recover her emotions and calm down. Turning, Lilla saw Maria and immediately, yet almost casually, turned away realizing she was beginning to stare. Instead, she looked down at the flooring of the deck and contemplated over a few things while she sealed her thoughts from all others. Reaching into her suede bag, she pulled out a notepad-looking object and a clear stone. Using the stone as a sort of thought absorber and writing device, she placed thoughts from her mind onto the notepad-looking object's face. Only she could see the actual contents of what was on the 'page' (so she thought), but always liked to prevent it from getting into unwanted hands. Lilla had several of these objects with her -each with there own purpose. All she had to do was place them back into the bag in a particular fashion for them to be safe from everyday activities, out of view (just in case anyone figured out how to see their contents), and out of reach (to prevent any chance for anyone to unravel its mysteries).

“Vampirates hu…..” tramer said as he watched the other ship taking cannon fire that would explain why I saw nothing in the man’s mind…… tramer thought to himself “this is going to be interesting” tramer said just inching to get aboard the other vessel and start the fight tramer turned toward the captain “permission to on the boarding party” tramer asked not knowing how pirates went about such things

Maria was staring out at the other ship. She hoped she would never see him again, but there he was. Don't recognize me. Please dont recognize me! She looked over at Lilla. She had something in her hand that almost looked familiar, but she couln't quite place it. Maria walked over to her and looked over her shoulder. "What's that? If you don't mind me asking." She said, looking at the clear stone.

Feeling a presence closing in behind her, Lilla quickly gathered her thoughts onto the object using the stone and began to put both items away when a realization came to her and she resumed what she was doing. The presence she felt approaching seemed to be looming right behind her. Pausing, she wondered what it was up to. Almost as soon as she paused, a question could be heard that sounded like it was directed to her.

With an impulsive twist of Lilla's wrist, the flat object's face was pressed against her body to hide the contents she saw on it, and a firm grasp was retained on the stone in her right hand as she turned to see who it was. Maria stood right behind her looking at the stone in her hand. Turning the rest of the way to face her, Lilla looked at the stone and tried to recall where she obtained it. Only when she remembered (a moment later) could she try to answer the question. However, not knowing who Maria was completely, she didn't think it wise to say too much.

"Honestly, I don't know... All I know is it helps me organize my thoughts.." she said with a look of failure upon her face. All theses years not getting much closer to figuring out what exactly the items were, caused her to feel as if she failed her self-assigned mission. Realizing she was still in the presence of someone, Lilla quickly recomposed herself and launched an analytical gaze toward Maria observing her reaction to determine if this is someone she might be able to trust with at least friendship. Curiosity struck her as she added, "Why do you ask?" seeing the interest in Maria's expression while she looked at the rock as if she'd seen it before.

"Oh, I thought it was prety. It reminds me of something, but I cant quite place it." She smiled. "Can I see it?" She asked, hopefully. She wanted to remember what it was that she couldn't.

Looking at Maria, Lilla was about to hand the stone over, but a force within told her no one but her should touch it. She looked at the stone and could feel a warmth emanating from it's core. It always got warm the more she used it, but this time it was different. This time it told her not to hand it over - to anyone. "Well," she began while trying to think of what to say without sounding rude. she's only curious, what harm can it do to just show her? "You can see it, but.. I can't allow you to touch it." Placing the other object in the bag, she switched the hand that held the stone and stretched it out steadily while opening her palm. Lilla focused on the stone and the air surrounding it. Slowly the stone rose to about half a foot about her palm and began to spin as if on an axis slightly tilted toward her body - similar to the way she learned Earth revolved around It's axis. Retaining a firm clamp on the stone with her mind, she allowed Maria to look at it. As soon as she had the stone the way she intended it to levitate, she could relax a bit without focusing so much while still being able to retain control of it.

Maria nodded in understanding. She longed to touch it, but if it was not allright, it was not allright. She watched as it twirled, like the earth. a sort of warmth seemed to come from it, but not in her own direction. It went twards Lilla. She smiled. "Thank you, for letting me look." Maria pulled something out of her bag. "Would you like to see something?"

Lilla looked at Maria as she looked at the stone, and nodded in response to her thanking her. That'd always been her way of saying 'You're welcome" since she didn't really enjoy talking much. The telekinetic force was severed as the stone fell into Lilla's palm. About to put it away as well, Lilla turned to Maria when she asked the question. Then, with a questioning expression written upon her face, Lilla nodded as she replied with a childish, innocently, curious tone, "What is it?" Lilla's fingers fastened over the stone as her gaze shifted repeatedly from Maria and her bag.

Maria smiled and opend her hand, revealing a tiny egg. "I don't yet know what it is yet, but it is alive!" She whisperd, smiling.

Lilla looked at the egg Maria held in her hand while she listened. It's alive... what is it? It's so tiny.. Lilla tried her hardest to contain her excitement, but couldn't help but smile as well.
