But while she dwelled on recent events, Eileen was also watching the glow. "...it should be our duty to go there and investigate...but we're too weak right now. Hopefully the marble nuke effect does what I want it to do, and before whatever's at the heart of that light hurts anyone else..."

Almost there, Zen was halfway through these old streets already, a little further and he'd be at the light emmiting from the fountain.

Adam darted through Old Barton and a whopping 30 MPH footspeed. He was going fast as hell. He was being chased by a collapsing world, a tornado, and fire...
no s**t he was going fast.

Aiolo's tornado full of *Flaming* department store crap came first. Then Aiolos. Stay close. Oh s**t it's- Velocity 7 (65 yards in diameter): Think everything the twister could hold before, and add a tank.

This world was going to hell in a handbasket? That sucked. Jacknife really wished he had his jeep. He hoped that it wasn't smashed by a falling rock or something. This was worse than the Petals of Chaos.

Xallen hobbled back into Old Barton. It looked like he was back already. He continued along, hobbling, this time not bothering to move subtly. They were in a hurry. He called to the people there, "Umm...you might want to head to the fountain. There's a giant ******** tornado behind us."

Well DUH.
Man, this was even worse than Broken City, and Aiolos didn't even know what that meant.
He and his flaming tornado went forth, sucking the old dojos and hangouts and clubs and whatever other crappy building there was.
To the fountain. Right.

Anji grimaced softly as he tried to move his arm, pain shooting up through his body as if to tell him that was a big no-no. He heard Eileen mention duty to investigate the light and nodded, though he also heard her reasoning as to why they shouldn't go. Sighing softly, he stared at the light intesely for a few moments before turning back to Eileen. "If it's our duty... then should we at least try? I know, I can't do much.... but, I will protect you... I will protect... my friend...." he said softly, not wanting to push her, yet also wanting her to know that he would follow her no matter what she decided....

HOSHIT! A giant TORNADO?? Jacknife quickly scanned the area for flying monkies, or at least a few lions, tigers, and bears... oh my.
He didn't see any, but a tornado was bad enough by itself to warrant getting the everliving ******** out of here. He dashed in the direction that everyone else was going, towards barton fountain.

He sped-hobbled along with Aiolos toward Barton Fountain, if that was even possible. He should be fine as far as the tornado went, and they would move forward into chaos at the Fountain.

Zen followed behin Aiolos and the tornadoe into Barton Fountain where everyone and their ******** mommas were.

He called to the people there, "Umm...you might want to head to the fountain. There's a giant ******** tornado behind us." Eileen heard the warning, then saw the flaming tornado. It was the sturdiest building in the area: The Forum Building. She slammed the doors shut, and yelled for everyone to head into the basement: A bar known as the General Discussion. God have mercy on their souls. Meanwhile, she dropped the emotion armor, and hurridly snapped in the smooth oval stone into the Red Wing on her AMP Bracelet. Power erupted in her. Eileen rushed to stairs, and like when she had first arrived in this mess, she threw all of the energy she could find into a shield that covered the entire floor and sealed the entrance to the bar. The tornado would tear through the front door, carrying with it flames and everything it could pick up along the way...she hoped the shield would be enough.

The Bitchslap from on high came down, and Eileen took a moment to be relieved that the marble was unaffected. She nodded to Anji. As soon as the tornado passed... She gasped, and the barrier flickered for a second. It was doing it again? She redoubled her efforts, though without the marble, this was straining.

That tornado seemed to waver, like it was going out of control. Then Jacknife realized that his marble had disappeared. It stood to reason that Aiolos' had also. That would be why the tornado was going nuts.
"Aiolos! Catch!" Jacknife shouted as he threw the Moralizer to the tornado driver.
He then popped an attacker on himself. Then ran full tilt to the fountain.
