There was one place where workers could go for a break, other than the prize room. Not even all of the employees knew about it. It was a room hidden right beside the stage, marked "Workers Only". This is where Yami went, and to his immense relief, the room was empty.
'I'm such an idiot...'
He lay down on one of the few couches, staring up at the bare ceiling. He really did like Yuugi, and not just as a passing amusement. The boy was interesting... but Yami felt he had gone too far with him. Yuugi was obviously sensitive... and the card dealer had made the boy so nervous...
And then there was Otogi. A friend of his... who had been a friend for awhile. Yami had no idea what to do about him. Was Otogi's flirting just flirting, or did it mean something? How was Yami supposed to react?
He groaned and laid an arm down over his eyes, letting out a sigh.

Otogi, of course, needed his cigs.
He'd won twenty dollars in his game with the dice, which he kept, since he'd won it. It wasn't very much, but, hey, twenty bucks was just that: twenty bucks.
He sighed and opened the door to the room Yami was in. Otogi always hid his cigs in between the couch cushions. They were safe there and no one would take them.
When Otogi saw Yami, he sort of frowned. He even gave a thought to just leaving and forgetting about his cig and having a nic fit, but he decided against it. Just because Yami was being an a*****e today didn't mean that he couldn't have his break.
He came in and closed the door, he didn't say anything to Yami.

At the sound of someone entering the room, Yami moved his arm and spared a glance over to see who it was. Seeing Otogi there, he was surprised. Had he come to say something? By the way he was staying silent… it seemed that the answer was no. Yami remained laying down and watching Otogi for a moment before sighing heavily and righting himself on the couch.
“So you’re going to ignore me now, are you?” He asked, leaning forward, his elbows on his knees and his hands dangling between his legs. He didn’t sound angry, but rather defeated.
