I don't think i've ever introduced myself!
Okay i used to be DramaticaBrightside but then I got a Damned kick and i changed it.
anyhoo most people call me Tic Tac, but Dram Dramatica, Grim or any other nickname you can think of is fine mby me^^
I like nicknames 3nodding
I've been on Gaia for a little over a year and i've like the Cure for er...
jee how long has it been now?....
10 years? No way...
i feel old......
anyway my fave cure album is The head On The Door, i could possibly pick one song, but fave video.... Lovecats (though i've seen it like, once) or Charlotte Sometimes.
Other bands i like:
Tears For Fears, The Killers, 0rgy, Duran Duran, HIM, The Damned, AFI, Jason mraz, many many many more
Other things i like: Anime, animals, Wicca, movies, art, reading
my fave author is Neil Gaiman
and my fave actor is John Cusack with Val Kilmer as a close second (he usurped poor Johnny Depp awhile ago..) and Stuart Townsend is definately in there somewhere.

i'm jenna. i'm 16. i love the cure & they were what got me into goth, which is now one of my favortie genres. my favortie cure song is probably "hot hot hot!!!" it is just so much fun.

OK, so I'm going to introduce myself and if you all don't like it, then don't read this!!! razz Anyway, I won't reveal my age because I'm too damn old. I've been a Cure fan for longer than many of you have been alive--scary thought, that is. How long??? About um...almost 20 years, gulp! I don't have one particular favourite album, but I have ones that are special to me--Disintegration, Wild Mood Swings, Bloodflowers, Pornography. My favourite song is Faith, live Rome 1989. If you haven't heard it, I highly recommend it. It's the most emotional version I've ever heard. I also love The Hanging Garden, Lullaby, Fascination Street--the list could go on and on. I've seen them in concer 3 times--front row in 96 at Radio City Music Hall and 2nd row at Jones Beach in 2000 on the Dream Tour. I actually got to touch Robert Smith's hand and got some awesome photos! I live and breathe The Cure and think that Robert Smith is God!!! whee Anyway, I guess that's enough of an introduction for now.

I'm OBSESSED with the movie SAW, so......YEAH. *Despite how happy and hyper I am, I'm actually a pretty dark 'Blood-and-Guts movie' person.*
AND HERES MY STORY. whee
One sunny day around......December 16-ish 2004, Me and my mom and my dad were like 'YAY IM HUNGRY LETS GO EAT FOOD'. So, we drove over to the resturant where we go, and my dad ran in to get the food while me and my mom sat in the car.
Then all-of-a-sudden, shes like 'HOMFG I JUUUUUUST REMEMBERED.' And she pulled out her new The Cure 'Standing On The Beach' tape she just bought. Then she practically tied me down and made me listen to 'Charlotte Sometimes.'

The rest of the evening practically went like this:

anyways i started hearing about The Cure almost 4 years ago and i got addicted by my dad i confessed and told him i love it and he took me to all kinds of places , bought me all the albums in vinyl ( * i dont have a record player yet .. iam buying one tommorow) and got me a bunch of posters pics for my laptop etc. and etc. and he turned as a huge mega Robert Smith Fan and the cure too.. he went to all kinds of places to see them live even To the U.K

*bows* ello, there. i be raven, your friendly neptunian pyro. heh, i just kid. well, not really.
anyway.....um. the cure. teh awesomeness, if youll pardon the phrase. first song of theirs i ever heard was boys dont cry, off of the greatest hits album. course, then i heard lovesong, and i was hooked. you see, im a bit of a hopeless romantic myself, and....er. yeah. lovesong just kinda made me stop and go "whoa. no WONDER my mum bought that for me." (my mum, knowing how varied my musical tastes were, picked up the cure greatest hits for me awhile ago.)
hmm. i feel a little awkward here, being that i havent the resources to listen to a lot of music by the cure. *is sad* but knowing how i am, id guess that in a matter of weeks, ill have gotten my inky little hands on most of the albums. ^^^;; heh.
raven can get kind of obsessive, yes she can.
wow. i need caffeine. or at least sugar. hmm. well, im off to find some pocky. byes.
