"Now Charcoal, use Blast Burn!!" Neko shouted, trying to use his most powerful attack while Ruishi was distracted.
The chocolate colored Charizard gave a flap of his large wings and powerd up the attack, opening his jaws as wide as possible, a blast of scolding hot fire shot in the Dragonites direction, at a fast pace.

As soon as the smokescreen was cleared, a red blast of fire knocked back Ruishi. The dragonite cried out in pain as she fell down. Flapping her wings as much as she could, so the crash landing wasn't as painful. She layed on the floor for a few moment and then finally got back up.
"A blast burn eh...? Well then, we can also use our strongest attack. Ruishi, use Hyper Beam!", Angel commanded.
Ruishi started flapping her wings once more to lift herself into the air. Gathering energy, a sphere of yellow appeared infront of her. As soon as it was big enough, she sent her attack at Charcoal.

"Counter and use Flamethrower, try and overpower the Hyper Beam!" She thought this was a desperate attempt, but if Ruishi didn't get the blow she was trying to get, then while she was recovering Charcoal would be able to get his own attack in, maybe cause some more damage.
The Charizard sent out the fire attack, it's heat and speed sending it halfway to meet head on with the female Dragonite's own. It was powerful, and he was having a hard time fighting back. This girl was strong, and he was impressed.
Watching closely, Neko was getting the impression that this would be a losing battle.

"Come on Ruishi!" Angel shouted as she watches Charcoal counter the hyper beam.
Impressed with the Charizard, it has been a while since she faced a strong Pokemon. She continued to focus on pushing her attack through the flame thrower and into the target she was aimming at.

The attack was pushed backwards further and further, his strength was spuring him on, but it didn't seem to be enough. The muscles in his body strained against Ruishi with all his might, but with every push, he was sent further back untill the Hyper Beam was so close, he could smell it.
"Try and move away, NOW!!!"
Stopping the Flamethrower, he moved to his right, diving downwards to the ground. The blast burnt his tail, and he cried out in pain. But he skept going, and landed on the floor once more. Panting hard, he gave a wiry grin at his opponent.
"Charcoal, get ready to attack again, just rest a little!" Neko suggested, they wouldn't win if he was way too tierd.

Ruishi was surprised that her attack didn't fully hit her target. The dragonite grew more and more impressed with Charcoal. For now, she was recharging, her eyes locked onto the charizard.
"Ruishi, get ready to use a Dragon Claw attack!" Angel commanded once more.
The dragonite held up her claws as they started to glow brightly. She was going to charge into Charcoal as soon as he made any signs of movement.

'Hmmm, what attack should I use next?' Thinking slowly, she watched Ruishi, thinking hard about the situation. 'I know!'
Charcoal meanwhile felt much more rested, those few minutes had done him wonders and he was ready for more. Lifting his head, he got ready for the Dragonite's attack.
"Charcoal, use Dragon Rage!!" Opening his wings, he windened his mouth, and charged up the Orange ball making it as big as the attack would get. Electric sparks zapped around it, and then he let it fly!

"Try to dodge and charge into the Charizard!" Angel called out as she watched the Dragon Rage fly towards the dragonite.
Ruishi dived towards Charcoal. Seeing the dragon rage, she shifted her direction away from the attack, her left leg was hit. She hissed form the pain in her leg. Her eyes locked back towards Charcoal, she continued to dive toward charcoal attempting to use her dragon claw on him.

Charcoal was thrown backwards by her attack, digging his feet firmly into the earth to try and stop himself from going much further. The Chocolate Tiger looking Charizard stared up at Ruishi with determined eyes, but they were not angry. He was enjoying this battle, more than any other he had yet.
"Try and fly towards the Dragonite, Charcoal, and use Flamethrower again!" Flapping his wings, he flew as fast as possible and let lose the attack. He could see that this would be over soon, but he knew if she won he would be proud to have fought her.

Ruishi bowed her head towards Charcoal showing her respect for him before he released another flamethrower. Her eyes widen as the charizard flew up to her. Almost feeling the intense scorching heat before the flamethrower was unleashed she shutted her eyes and waited for her trainner to call out a command.
"Ruishi, counter with twister!" Angel finally called out a moment after the flamethrower command was called out. The dragonite furiously beated her wings to send out waves of winds that created a large tornadoe and sending it towards the Charizard and his attack.

Watching the Twister come closer, the Charizard felt the flames move away and towards him, along with the attack Ruishi made. There wasn't much he could do, and he was unsure on what his trainer would say.
"Ok Charcoal, try and use Smokescreen, use it as a barrier, then move away!!" He did just that, but the attack along with part of his own, was way strong, and he got hit on the wing. Falling down, he landed on the ground hard, unable to fly. "Oh no..."

Angel coughed as the smoke screen surrounded the area. The twister from before hand blown some of the smoke away, enough to see through. Ruishi looked over at Charcoal and waited for him to move. Instead of finishing off the charizard, she waited to see if he was still able to move. Both Angel and Ruishi didn't say anything but only panted.

Charcoal tried to stand up; cuts and bruises were all over his body, straining to move. His wing hung down at his side, possibly dislocated, the pain was awful, but he barely showed it. "Can you try one last attack?" Neko asked, hopeful. He looked over towards her, eyes narrowed.
She nodded in understanding, and looked over to the Dragonite. This one would be their last stand, the end of the battle. He was weak, only one last attack left, but she planned to make it a good one. Smiling, she looked at Angel, commending her inwardly. "Use Dragon Rage!"
Gathering all his strength, he opened up, the orange ball of power swirling and gathering fast. Sending it forwards, speed and accuracy, the Charizard watched in fascination, the energy in his body draining away.

Angel grinned seeing how hard the charizarding was pushing himself. It made her smile to see that she had attended such a tremendous battle. "Okay Ruishi, use our final attack!" she called out. Ruishi took a deep breath as she prepared herself for her most powerful attack. "Hyper Beam!" Gathering all the energy that was left in her weakened body, she was prepared her attack. She waited for the Dragon Rage. As soon as Charcoal's attack ws close enough, she released her hyper beam at Charcoal with the risk of getting hit by the Dragon rage.
Ruishi roared out as the sphere of energy hitted her and knocked her back. She almost crashed down until the dragonite beated her wings as much as she could to soften the landing. As soon as she reached the ground, she toppled over slightly and fold her wings on her back and awaits to see the result of her attack.

The attack smashed down into the ground, sending the large Pokemon flying backwards. He couldn't slow down with a batterd wing, and his body was so weak now that it flew back like a rag doll.
"OH!!" Neko watched horrified, unable to do anything. Charcoal landed hard on the ground, and didn't move. Rushing over, she landed on the floor and looked him over. "Charcoal, are you ok?" The computer beeped, and flashed:
Winner Angel!
Standing up, she smiled at the trainer and held out her hand "Congrats, you are a strong leader, and trainer! I'm glad we got to battle." Pulling out the Badge and TM, she handed them over, just as Charcoal slowly woke up.
"Gonna have to take him to Nurse Joy!"
