I should prob'ly announce my return from Hiatus ... lol.
I've been busy getting college apps together, and porfolio for said college.
I miss Gaia. I was playing dorky MMOs like RO. But I get bored.
Anyway. I'm Katie.
I'm Seventeen years and seven months old, and my birthday is march third.
Art is my life, though I also love singing, dancing, theatre, writing, reading and video games. Not in any specific order.

Greetings, all! My name on Gaia is Artemis (and a hearty hail to Persephone), and in real life, my name is Marluxia Bliss (as of the 30th of April, 200 cool . I am eighteen years old and a male via transgender (that is, I once was a female, but didn't believe I was in the right body and changed.), which is surprisingly akin to getting your hair cut off.
I live in Auckland, New Zealand, which is the first country in the world to see the new day! I'm always ahead of everyone's time zone, which is cool- if anyone wants to know what happens tomorrow, just ask 8D I'm also in this guild here, thanks to Lady_Chimera.
My hobbies are painting and drawing- I have an art shop here on Gaia-, going antiquing (a strange hobby for an eighteen year old to have, but there you go), roleplaying, skateboarding, singing really bad karaoke in the shower, cosplaying, reading and fighting with StudyLink so I can get my damned student allowance.
Currently I'm entering my first year of university! I'm going to be an English Major, with my doctorates in Classical Literature and Philosophy, and I will be applying for a teaching license as well. I wish to teach English at a high school level, and later I want to be a university lecturer. I ADORE English above anything else in my life- anyone who speaks to me online or in person can attest to that.
My favorite music and movies? Ah, this is a tricky one... The old man in me screams MOZART! For both- my favorite piece of music is the Lachrymose Requiem, and one of my most beloved movies is Amadeus, though it went on forever. But the youthful spirit of mine demands to be heard as well- I am a massive fan of Kimya Dawson and all of her music, and I adore movies like Better than Chocolate and Juno- nothing like a feel-good flick to make me think.
Favorite anime, on the other hand, is easy- I am a Hellsing fan. although it makes the reader in me shudder to write that with two 'L's- in literature, Professor Van Helsing only had one L in his name.
I have little more to add! I adore friendships and requests, if anyone cares to talk to me.
