Char stopped, not stupid enough to run blindly into the dust cloud.
"C'mon out and fight me!" Char growled. "Unless you're too afraid to lose to fight me face to face instead of leading me into a dust cloud?"

Flare blew a wisp of fire and the dust turned to sparkes and floated to the ground.
"I'll lose with dignity. Once I evolve, battleing will be easier, but now, its difficult without arms. I'll lose with dignity."Flare said desicevely.
((If he goes for a tackle, on impact, she'll give a sharp peck. She'll faint, but leave Char with something to think about.))

Char slowed only for a second as the sparkles rained down, but then realized he had slowed and sped up just in time and gave her a nice, hard tackle. He gasped when he recieved a final peck from Flare before she fainted.
Char was breathing hard, but he had won. Barely, but he had. Terra ran up to hug him, and whispered a few critisizms in his ear.
Is this how it's gonna be? Char wondered. Even if I win, I'm going to recieve all these "tips" and "pointers"? He didn't like it much, but there was really no running away now.

TD ran over and grabbed Flare. She gave a faint smile.
"Lets go heal them. That was a good battle and I think Char might evolve in a battle or so," TD said. She headed for the center.

TD who entered the pokemon center was given a full revive which she used on Flare. They walked out of the center as John congratulated Terra. Flare held a max potion in her beak and left it by Char. She glared up at John. Hey, she worked hard and had a strong bond with TD. She lost. So what?
She growled a bit at the man.
She didnt hear him cheering for her. TD was talking with nurse Joy outside the center so had no idea what was going on.

john looked at the torchick he bent down to its level "you vary good just a little more work on startige but your a vary spunky torchick and have a good bound with TD i hope you make it to the pokemon league so i can fight you " john patted the torchick on its head

Shes real competative. I hope she evolves soon, she feels a little inferior but she makes do dont cha?"

"Hmm. I will. Dose anyone want to try and catch some pokemon from the forest-" TD started but something jumped onto her shoulder then jmped down and hid behind her. There was another one that hid behind TD. Two more by Fera and another two by john. By TD was a Shinx and Pichu. By Fera was a Growlithe and Cleffa. By john was a tyrouge and Mawile.And three evees were rushing towards them, mouths stuffed with apples with a couple of towns folk after them.
"Pi, chu chu!"The pichu yelled as the 3 evees sped over to Fera, TD, and John. The towns folk were food merchants and TD realizes each of the pokemon was carrying food. Thaey all looked so hungry.
"Give us thosse pokemon!"One yells."They stole our food."
TD looks at them. They looked at the three friends pleedingly. TD turned to the mechants and produced $15 from her pocket. Will this do?
"Yes."They grumbled and walked off. TD sat and looked at the happily eating forest pokemon.

Terra stood in front of the Gorwlith and Cleffa when the merchants ran over to them, and Char joined her, wanting to feel like a hero, too. When the debt was paid and they were off, Terra turned to the Growlith and Cleffa. A huge smile spread across her face and she hugged them both.
"You guys are so cute!" she cried. Char tugged on her shirt, and she let him into the group hug. The Growlith licked her face, and Terra took a pokeblock for each of the pokemon-including Char, because she didn't want him to feel left out.
They're not dragons, but these could be just what I was looking for to help me catch more of those dragons, Terra thought with a smile on her face as she watched them eat the treats.

The pikachu and Shinx seemed to become attached to her very quickly. She smiled. Then one eevee came to her, one to Fera and one to John. TD's was a girl. TD gave each a few berries and said, "I think we all have some new travel partners."

Terra looked at the Eevee in surprise.
An Eevee too? Maybe I'll try to get all fire pokemon instead-trying just to have dragon-types is a pain! And at least Eevee can evolve into Flarion...
Terra then realized she needed names for the three new pokemon. She asked TD for advice.

"Hmm....your right. I think I'll name my pichu(girl) Luka and my Shinx(male) Lec. Now about this eevee(girl) of mine, maybe Zia or Moon. So...your eevee maybe...Sear(boy) or...Gale(girl). The growlith might be Falsh or Mane. The cleffa might be Twilight or star."

Terra thought for a moment. Pointing to cleffa, she said, "Twilight." Cleffa jumped in glee. She pointed at Growlith. "Flash. Maybe sometimes Flash Fire or FF for the heck of it," she said with a smirk. She looked at the Evee, and then frowned. "I guess you'll go nameless for now. No offense, but I didn't like those names too much."
