I know tenth graders who can write a more coherent essay (though granted, perhaps not with that large an amount of information to sort through.) Having said that though, the guy did seem to generally know what he was talking about (with a few exceptions,) even with the major lack of direction overall. Anyway, it did make me think quite a bit, so I suppose it was worth reading. imho the author is trying too hard in some cases to connect Bowie with the occult, although in other cases it's certainly justified. P.S. Oh yes, did anyone else notice that the writing level seemed to change dramatically within some portions of the essay? I mean, without any obvious indication as to a change in author. I'm wondering if some of it was plagarised. P.P.S. The constant addition of Bowie lyrics where they neither enhanced understanding of the essay nor proved a point irritated me to no end. I remember one paragraph that was almost entirely song titles stuck together, and I had to read it five times over just to understand what the hell the author was trying to say. Very aggrivating.
