Shawna followed Rose upstairs and glanced around her bedroom. Taking in everything that stood there. It was a nice and cozy room.
"Can I make that phonecall in a bit?" she asked, not wanting to wait too long.

"Oh Right." Rose points out the phone in the corner. "I'll head to the spare room to set it up for you. Let me know when you are done."

Shawna went to the phone. Ways of explaining her boyfriend what happened came to mind, but none of them were fair at all. She dialled the number. Quickly she took care of it, being hurt inside, but knowing she found something better.
She walked to the room where Rose was and walked inside, letting her head hang.
"Hey um... It's done..." she said in a sad voice.

'Are you sure you're okay with this?" Rose sat on the newly made bed and motioned for Shawna to sit down next to her. "Because you know you can choose him if you want, all I want is for you to be happy."

Slowly Shawna sat down on the bed too. "Yeah, we'd only see each other every half year anyway. And besides, I've never felt so good with anyone else than you."

Rose kissed Shawna's forehead. "If you're sure." She smiled. "This will be your room for as long as you need it. My room is also open to you at any point (with me included). And don't worry about my mom. She's cool about this kinda stuff."

Shawna smiled and looked at Rose. She's so beautiful... she thought, and before she knew it, she was kissing her.

Rose was slightly surprised but was over it very quickly. She kissed back and managed to smile.
