pretty good haul this year
its nice getting gifts from seven different family members plus stuff from freinds.

I got socks with pink toes and heels, a gir t-shirt, and a neat sweater, and 20 bucks.
biggrin for having a super large family we dont' give presents much. Oh and if you want to count the forced secret santa at work, I got a 20 dollar gift card for Virgin Records
Not to mention, when you get a job, your expected to give presents and stop recieveing them much. neutral at least that's how it seems in my family.
this year it was more concentrated on the small kids. And most aunts and uncles give our family "a gift for all of your to share" since we're a clan of seven. XD;;; buying us all seperate gifts is difficult.

I got...a lot of stuff; I hadn't asked for anything in particular this year, actually, so I didn't get really excited about anything (except for the really cute Japanesque things), but it was still nice just to be with family. XP
Lots of stuff from my dad's trip to Japan, some clothes, some cute little coffee-cups...and some really nice pottery.
We have too many little Nativity scene things among our overwhelming supply of Christmas decorations. xp We're not particularly pious; Mom just collects them.

No wonder a lot of adults hate Christmas. x_x I only hate it because it gets really, really, really REALLY, REALLY busy at work. It's just another holiday for me. I'm going to be joyful when I feel like it, and not a moment before! scream You can't make me....I haven't actually been to a Christmas Eve service in several years because every time, I'm home and dragged into helping out. Playing with the rest of the music people on my cello, called in as a replacement acolyte because some kid is sick, or something. At least I get paid for cello-ing! 4laugh

I don't like Christmas.
At all.
I don't need a holiday to give me an excuse to dote upon, love and show affection for the people I care about. xP I think that randogifts are much more touching than gifts exchanged on pre-arranged holidays, anyways... @3o

its friggin awesome
we probably would have played it all day if I hadn't gone to work to cover Joel's shift
he got sick apparently
I wonder whether his ailment was caused by or just agrivated by an ample amount of alcohol consumption
