0. My name is Ali. I'm a girl. I'm 15. I enjoy horseback riding, drawing and House... yes, the TV show. I work at a dog grooming parlor.
1. I am extremely pro-choice and will debate with anybody who is pro-life. I believe people should be able to choose what they want to do, and that people who don't believe in abortion.. just don't do it. But don't stop people who may need an abortion from being able to terminate a pregnancy.
2. Teen sex... Hmm. I'm pretty neutral on this. Just be aware of consequences that might result from being sexually active : ]
3. If you want a child, go for it. I think that women would have much better lives if they waited til they were through with school and could support themselves and a child financially. However, I believe that it's the girl's choice if she wants to have a child--but if the pregnancy was a mistake, the girl shouldn't have been having sex.
4. Let people marry who they want to marry. Love is blind.
5. I don't care who people love... I don't have a problem with heterosexuals, homosexuals or bisexuals.
6. I don't believe anybody should ever have to resort to suicide... it doesn't solve problems.
7. Self mutilation is gross and wrong, but I have done it. Though this sort of conflicts with my view on suicide... the person who is harming themself owns their body, and if they want to ruin it, then let them.

9. I believe love exists, in many forms. Love is great.
10. Drugs and Alchohol are two things I don't believe in, and I do look down on people who abuse them. I can make my own fun, I don't need a substance to help me.
11. Personally I am an athiest, but I don't have any problem with people believing what they want to believe... as long as they don't shove it in my face and try to get me to believe it, too. I respect that different people believe different things.

2) Teen sex}} Uhm. Wow, I've never exactly thought about it.. I guess I'm not against it or for it, just be the heck careful and use protection.
3) Teen pregnancy}} Scares me to death, pretty much. Its one of my worst fears. But anyway, I wouldn't support a thirteen year old wanting to get pregnant, for her body probably couldn't stand labor.
4) Gay marriage}} Completely for it.
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference)}} Erm.. I don't care.
6) Suicide}} I believe that throwing away the life God gave you is wrong.
7) Self-harm}} Tough, I guess.. I don't really know.

My name is Sylvia, and I'm 16.
1) Abortion:
I'm against it. I would never do it, but I'm not about to agree to laws that tell someone what they can or can't do with their body. To me, then we'd just end up with dead babies AND dead women in an attempt to do it themselves, and not just dead babies. People are going to do it anyways, there's nothing we can do.
2) Teen sex:
I don't really have a comment.
3) Teen pregnancy:
I don't really know. I've never been in the situation. I don't feel like I'm in the position to judge.
4) Gay marriage:
I'm for it. If I were going to stand behind my Church as a Catholic, I'd be against it in the Church. But making a law against it makes no sense, since a Priest or whoever can refuse to marry someone no matter what the reason is, last time I checked. Even so, if Church and state are separate, why is it like, impossible to get married through the state alone?
I don't know. I know nothing about the government.

I don't care. You like what you like.

Firmly against it.
7) Self-harm:
Hard to say without being a hypocrite, I suppose.

Everyone says teenagers don't know what love is.

To me it honestly depends on how much you're doing it, and what drugs you're doing.

1) Abortion. - I believe in Pro-Choice
2) Teen sex. - protected, please
3) Teen pregnancy. - be prepared to care for the baby.
4) Gay marriage. - people should love who they like in public

6) Suicide. - other ways out of problems
7) Self-harm. - just have a mental breakdown, and a few tears, and be over it.
9) Love. - be careful
10) Drugs and Alcohol. -don't mix + match, just don't do it.
11) Religion. -whatever you believe, as long as you don't kill people or burn things, i don't care.

Call me by my username please. I'm from the Virgin Pride! Guild, we are an affiliate of this guild. Oh, I'm a band geek.
Where I stand on:
1) Abortion. I think that abortion should only be allowed if the mother or child is going to be in harms way or in the case of rape.
2) Teen sex. To me it seems like teens should wait longer than they do to have sex.
3) Teen pregnancy. This is a tough one...I have too much to think about before I have an opinion on this one.
4) Gay marriage. I support it.
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference). It's not going to affect me if someone has another view than me so no problem.
6) Suicide. I don't think it's ever the answer.
7) Self-harm. Once again, there is always help.
9) Love. Many types, true love, puppy love, fake, ect.
10) Drugs and Alcohol. Wrong, there are better things to do.
11) Religion. I'm Christian.

Where you stand on:
1) Abortion.
I'm open-minded I guess.
And I think people have a choice, it's our right.
But if two teen-agers have sex, and the girl ends up pregnant, I think she should at the very least, consider having the baby, and looking for a good adoption agency.
2) Teen sex.
I really don't understand honestly.
The body isn't even fully developed until you are eighteen or...whatever.
So if they choose to have sex, they then choose the risk of getting various problems (I knew this girl, who was in one of my classes, who ended up with this one cancer).
If they are older and mature(17-20), and they know for sure they are going to be together forever, and there is no absolute doubt, then I would be up for it. However, I believe at any age, unless you are ready to have a baby and start a family, use protection.
3) Teen pregnancy.
I really think it's the mother's decision.
And we don't really know her emotions.
And I really hate it when people mock or "banish" or whatever teenage parents. They already feel guilty enough, they don't need the whole world reminding them every second of the day.
4) Gay marriage.
I don't see gay marriage different from "regular marriage"
I think it's the same.I personally don't even like how it has the label "Gay marriage"
In my opinion, marriage is marriage. It's for two people who love each other. There are no two different types of marriages. That would be like saying there's a "black" marriage, and a "Filipino" marriage, and a "White" marriage.
]: I very much dislike labels, and personally don't like to use any or think of any of them being existant (However, when it comes to the term "Emo" that's something I personally have added into my vocabulary, as being an adjective. Nothing more than that).

I don't see it as anything being different.
I hate the way the term "straight" is used, and I hate the way "gay" is used, and I hate that "lesbian" was made up or whatever.
People like who they like.
It makes them no different, and they aren't different.

I'm for it, and against it.
Mainly for it, because I've attempted numerous times. :E
But quite frankly, when you are in the suicidal state, like the real one, it's REALLY hard to get out of it. And I hate it when people say, "Well you didn't try hard enough" It's one of those things, you don't understand, until you've felt it. Or you are very good at empathizing with people.
If anything, if somebody finds themselves in the suicide stage suddenly, without any warning. Bang things. (You would feel better, because you are...letting out feelings, and you are making a loud noise, which is the point I want to get at) Because you can't help yourself, and you can't have a person help you, seeing as you don't want to be helped, if you make loud noises, then a person would have to come towards you at some point of time, and have it so then, you can't kill yourself with that person all in your business. I have more opinions...way better than the one I just said, which probably sounds lame to everyone. xD;;; but, I always get emotional when I talk about my opinions of suicide.
7) Self-harm.
Quite frankly
You can't deny it. When you can't feel pain, or want to let go of pain.
It really helps. Whether it be cutting, beating, burning, etc. It really does help. You just end up with scars, bruises, and burn marks.
And that's the bad part of it.
And part of me things, "If people can get tattoos, why can't we cut? I know cutting is way more deep than tattoos, but honestly...people can get tattoos and ruin their body, why can't we ruin ours?"
The main risk, is hitting a main artery.
Same as the suicide thing, I always get emotional when discussing my feelings about this, so I'll stop.
And I'll only feel comfortable talking about these things, in a mental clinic. Which is hard to admit, but it's true.

(Never been on a date, never had a boyfriend...not even in kindergarten or whatever, never been kissed, etc. etc. x.x; )
There are a lot of things I would want to type out, but it only brings up bad memories.

I'm against it.
If I meet somebody who's on drugs, I have no problem with them, I have a problem with the drug.
Plus, kids who are on medication...(depression, PTSD, bi-polar, etc. etc.), drugs only mess with their medication causing them to not work or worsen, thus the kids use the drugs more because their meds aren't working. It's a whole cycle. Not everybody is like this, but I've just met a LOT who are in this situation.
And as for alcohol. No teenager should drink alcohol.
No teenager on medication should drink alcohol.
Case settled.
Adults, just some drinking here and there.
But...I dunno, I would watch for alcoholism.
11) Religion.
I'm agnostic, and confused about all of it.
So I'm not going to say anything...except for what I've already said. :E

Hello there! smile My name is Liz and I'm a 20 year old art student/waitress in northern Illinois. I live with my boyfriend (although he's currently in California due to Marines training) and even though I'm only twenty I've had plenty of experience with unpleasant situations. Um...I'm artistic and I love animals...I have a pet ball python and a firebelly toad. <3 Questions? Just ask and here's the 'spice':
1) Abortion. I am pro-choice...I feel that it's a woman's right to her own body and if she feels that she can't support a child or give it the life it deserves, then she has the right to do what she feels is necessary.
2) Teen sex. I was 18 when I lost my virginity and my boyfriend was 17 at the time, so technically that's teen sex...I feel as long as both parties are mature enough to handle it emotionally, use protection and common sense and are careful about it, teen sex isn't such a bad thing. I would not be comfortable though with the idea of teens younger than 16 having sex...I don't think they are emotionally mature enough to handle it.
3) Teen pregnancy. I feel that if a teenager decides to have a child, foolish as I feel it might be, then that shows real responsibility. I admire that quality, however, if they are a teenager and trying to get pregnant simply because they want to live in their parents' house and have their family support their reckless behavior, that shows that they are still thinking like a child. I think a teenager's first priority should be education, at least a high school degree, because without it you can't give your future children a good life.
4) Gay marriage. Should be legalized, you love who you love, and it's not the government's place to allow or unallow marriage based on the genders of the people involved.
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference). You love a person, not their gender. What does it matter?
6) Suicide. Is not something that should occur, ever. It's a permanent solution to a temporary problem and if someone ever feels like it's their only option, GET HELP.
7) Self-harm. Self-harmers should go to see a therapist, a psychologist, someone...it's unhealthy to want to hurt yourself, and as much as people have an aversion to medication, it really does make a whole lot of difference.
9) Love. It changes your life forever. Especially when you find the One. smile
10) Drugs and Alcohol. I am a straightedge. For life. I always will be. I don't understand the appeal of drugs or alcohol, and I feel like all they do is make you stupid and forget what the really important things in life are.
12)Religion I am Wiccan, and I believe that religion finds you. I don't like evangelists nor do I like having beliefs shoved down my throat or having misconceptions thrown at me. I'm not a Satan-worshipping baby eater because I am a Witch.

Hey, my real name is Kirsty, but most of my friends here on Gaia call me Spaz. whee I'm an 18-year-old gamer chick from Northern Ireland. I love helping people in LI, especially with sex and relationship issues, because I was in an abusive relationship when I was younger, and don't want anyone else to have to go through that. Also, LI is what helped me get out of it!
My stand on:
1) Abortion.
I'm entirely pro-choice.
2) Teen sex.
I don't think teenagers should have sex until the age of consent in their area, though despite that, I still don't think many teenagers are ready for sex below about 16-18. I know I wasn't when I lost my virginity.
3) Teen pregnancy.
I think teenagers should be prepared to abort or put a baby up for adoption if they can't financially support a child. It isn't fair on the kid, and it can completely spoil a teenager's future. I'm not saying that abortion or adoption are the only options, but they should be prepared to consider them.
4) Gay marriage.
While I'm a very traditional girl, I honestly believe that marriage is about love, not gender, so why not?
5) Sexual preference (your views, not your own sexual preference).
I believe most teenagers go through experimental phases, and I honestly don't think that it's possible to determine your sexuality at an early age. It takes time, and you're never just "born gay" or "born bisexual". I honestly believe that heterosexuality is the way nature intended it, but of course, as with all things, variations happen. Not saying gay or bisexual people are wrong, but they are different, obviously.
6) Suicide.
Definitely shouldn't be an option. If you're mentally troubled, you should seek professional help, but suicide should not be used as the way out. As the famous saying goes, it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
7) Self-harm.
Again, not an option. It doesn't help matters, it's damaging to yourself and those around you, and it doesn't change the problem. In fact, it often makes things worse.
9) Love.
That's a tough one. I believe that you can't really truly love someone when you're very young, because it takes a lot of maturity to feel that much dedication for someone, but I know it is possible. In my mind, you can only truly love one person in your entire life, so you can't date one person, love them, then date another. It's like the soul-mate thing.
10) Drugs and Alcohol.
Bad idea, altogether. Alcohol, not so much, but drinking underage is a horrible idea. The body can barely deal with alcohol as it is, but getting drunk and having your stomach pumped when you're underage just complicates things. It also brings unprotected sex and potential STDs and pregnancy into play. Drugs, on the other hand, are just stupid no matter what the age.
11) Religion.
I'm agnostic. I ask too many questions to have faith in something. I'm open-minded, however. Organised religion, to me, is the cause of far too many conflicts, and I think that it needs to be dealt with. I hate people who try to shove their religions down other people's throats.

Well, being only 16, I suppose I am a little young to loose it, but I did. I mean, if you are mentally stable enough to think about it, get yourself in the position to do it, and talk about it with your boyfriend/person of choice, then go for it. Be safe though, dang.
3) Teen pregnancy.
No Thanks. I have my future to plan.
4) Gay marriage.
My aunt who has helped my dad raise me is a Lesbian, I say do what makes you happy. Love doesn't know gender.
5) Sexual Preference.
Like what you like, none of my business.
6) Suicide.
Life is too precious to kill yourself. As bad as it can be, you can't ignore the beauty of a tree.
7) Self-harm.
If you really think you need attention, there are better ways to show it. Seriously, just don't.

What an emotion. Love is so many things. Right when you think you know what it is, it throws you for a loop. Still trying to figure this one out, will for a long time I suppose.

Do it with caution, don't put others in danger. Stay safe about it and have fun.

Grew up a Christian my whole life, just the past few years I started doubting so-called "faith". That doesn't make a bit of sense to me, it's like believing in freaking Santy Clause. It pisses me off. When I see Jesus himself come down and put the thorns on the table, then I will have some faith.

1) Abortion.- Wrong...that should be considered manslaughter. I mean you could be killing the kid that knows the cure for cancer

4) Gay marriage. Shouldnet be agenst the law I mean WTF? If it makes a ******** girl happy the marry anothere girl WHY NOT!? It being agenst the law is unconstitutional and it goes agenst a few of the core democratic values.

i am 20 years old the product of 2 racists parents and the twin sister of a racists woman i however am not racist it is kinda hard to be racist when u r in love with,engaged to and possibly pregnant by a black guy. yes i know i know u all r going how on earth did u manage to be the only non racist one in your family for that i have no stinking idea but i am. if you all have any q's about my life let me know im pretty open and will talk about anything mostly.
