Sutiiven was in a bit of a spot at the moment, but he began muttering something the moment Shuyin wrapped the whip around his first sword. The rune's engraved on the blade began to glow, and suddenly the twin swords burst alight, the right one with a red magical fire, the left one with a blue magical fire. "Heh... never thought I'd use that. Shocked it even worked" chuckled Sutii. With the vice grip that he had on his weapons, he yanked the one out of the whip's grasp. He stepped backwards a bit, knowing that Shuyin could attack at will with that nasty whip.

Shuyin stepped back, getting some distance between his opponents, holding the whip at his side in his right hand. Well, this was certainly a predicament, he thought to himself.
"Looks like we've found our third teammate," he said.
Circling around the other two, he used to whip's length to keep himself at a distance, snapping it first at Sutiiven, then at Staccato.

"Talk about your entrance exams..." quipped the Maverick about the new Teammate comment. He shut his yap quickly though, as he had to get out of the way os Shuyin's newfound whip. Obviously he was well trained in weapons, though he was lethal enough unarmed.
He suddenly realised that he was caught in between Staccato and Shuyin. He pointed the red right hand sword towards Shuyin and the left hand icy blue left hand sword at Staccato, and waited for one of them to move so he could counter and or attack.

Staccato would attack as Shuyin spoke his words, pointing his ring finger at the whip that was being brandished he would try to take position of it. At the same time running forward to Shuyin and tying to cut him with the iron cleaver, he would swing arm that was trying to take control of the whip so that if the whip was there it would be aimed at Sutiiven.

Finding the whip beginning to move on it's own, no doubt being controlled by Staccato, he dropped it and raised his hands to catch the wrist of Staccato's hand that was swinging the cleaver, pushing it up as he stepped in to deliver a hard knee to Staccato's mid-section. If he still had hold of Staccato's wrist by then, he would move around to the side while twisting that arm down to flip Staccato down onto his back, then finish off the chain with a stomp to the shoulder of the arm he was holding.

Sutiiven saw his opening and rushed for Staccato as well. He manuvered so that the now moving whip only cut his shoulder, causing minor bleading as opposed to a serious gash. He grunted to ignore the pain and pushed off the ground, trying to get as much air so that he could come down on Staccato with both flaming blades. Their target was the side away from Shuyin, and unless Staccato did something, he'd have some unique scratch marks.

Staccato could do nothing about the knee, since his other arm was till to far out of the way for him to be able to successfully block. Not to mention that Staccato was not at all skilled in grappling which left him to be thrown easily. This would logically leave Staccato's cleaver arm broken at the shoulder and unusable. This does not mean he would not be able fight though, as he makes a wild upward kick toward Shuyin's stomach.

A wild kick indeed, which would land nowhere near Shuyin's stomach, since he was standing over Staccato's shoulder. He stepped back as he saw Sutiiven coming down with his flaming swords, not wanting to get caught in the middle of that attack.

Staccato would try to roll out of the way as the blades came down, but would only get half way away as one of them would create a deep slash across his back. This would leave a rather nice burn mark and would most likely also result in a scar that he would have the rest of his life.
He would then try to stand only to fall back to the ground his energy spent. Staccato would lie in the cold snow as he fought to stay awake. He was done for the rest of this fight.
"What a great fight." Staccato would mumble to himself.

Sutiiven glanced at Staccato. He want in the best of shape at the moment. "They'll probably be able to fix up that cut in the infirmary, seeing as how well they fixed me and Shuyin up after that fight... almost as good as new." he thought to himself. He glanced at his partner. "So, Shuyin... should we keep on fighting or call it good?" he said, more out of making sure that their possible third partner was going to be alright.

Shuyin relaxed his stance, looking over at Stacatto. "I think that's good for now. We can train again later. We have plenty of time before the tournament. Let's help him back to Leviathan, and get him to the infirmary."
Shuyin moved over to Staccato's side, getting an arm around his shoulder and lifting him up.

Sutiiven muttered some words under his breath, and the flames on the swords went out, their runes going dark. He sheathed the weapons, and walked over to help Shuyin with Staccato. He put an arm around Staccato's other shoulder and helped Shuyin carry him along. "I hope we didnt go to hard on him, I know we both tried to go after each other a bit, but we ganged up on him there at the end..." said Sutiiven, not too exceptionally worried, but just checking just in case.

"It's good training. We'll all need to get better at defending against multiple attackers at once if we expect to last long," Shuyin said, helping Sutiiven carry Staccato back to the portal, reemerging back in Leviathan where they could then carry him to the infirmary.

Sutii nodded as he went with Shuyin and Staccato through the portal and to the infirmary to recover from their little battle on the mountain. He was feeling a little sore from some of those hits, but it was nothing that the infirmary couldn't handle.

Jondon walked with caution on a steep slope path that seemed not to have been used in a long while. Weeds pulled at his feet as if trying to root him to the spot, and the earth was crumbled, unlike the compact, solid dirt of the main paths. He just needed a place to stay for the night, and seeing as how he was nowhere near a village, another night under the stars was for him.
He wore tan pants with sandels, having his shirt tied around his waist to help cool off his body. A pole covered in ducktape, was strapped to his chest with a leather sling, and a few blades were on his waist, unseen with the shirt in the way. Jondon's left forearm and hand were taped up and sweat bands could be seen way past the edges of the tape.
The sweat itched under the tape and he reminded himself once again to take the tape off when his camp was set up. Looking around him for a quick moment he sighed and walked on.
If I find a place to set up...
