nothing should reflect what you truly are. its sad that the world today does that, and anyone who does it, should be hit by a bus repeatedly. stressed

Camdon The question is: (as seen in the header)
Do the clothes you wear HAVE to reflect your musical preference?
I was walking down the street listening to Slayer (Angel of Death), when some chick in a trench coat started bitching at me. I was wearing a yellow shirt...
Feel free to discuss
-Camdon That's BS dude. That chick was a total poser. We should all have the right to choose whatever music we want to AND whatever clothing style we want. KLN

First off, I would have slapped that b***h silly and told her to go cut herself some more. And no I dont think it has to reflect what music you listen to. I wear baggy clothes but I dont like rap.

They should no way have to reflect what you listen to I have found that whilst looking for a job you have to wear what an employer thinks is smart and looks good otherwise you dont get your job
If you went in wearing loads of band tees and jeans etc then you obviously wouldn't get the job... wear whatever you like it shouldn't have to reflect your tastes so long as it doesn't affect certain things e.g. getting a job

The style of clothing you wear does not necessarily have to reflect the type of music you listen to. Your style of clothing is what identifies your personality.

I don't think so. My clothing style varies, even though i don't generally go for the preppy look. I just mostly wear whats comfortable.

I wear clothes that fit, in all kinds of colors but mostly red.
I listen anywhere from metal to the powerpuff girls theme song, just because it's cute. I'd find it annoying and stupid if someone told me I wasn't dressed appropriately for the kind of music I'm listening to.
I dress how I want, and although my musical likeings are varying, I don't feel the need to pick a "style" and just wear clothing that fits into that specific category.
