Severus swallowed hard, listening too what was said. That's one thing that always amazed him about Remus; his ability to keep calm during any situation. He leaned his head into the hand working through his hair, grateful to have some kind of contact with someone.
"Okay.." he said quietly. "I believe you... I'm just... I'm scared, Remus. I don't like that this b*****d is endangering our boys. And the fact that I'm forced to share a home with him.." He shuddered lightly.
He looked back at Remus, his dark eyes looking at the golden ones. "A-Are you sure that would be alright with Miss Raven?.. If the boys and I came over? At least just the boys... I don't care what happens to me.."

"Miss raven won't mind. As long as we don't bother anyone, she won't let anyone bother us," Remus assured the wolf, smiling slightly at him. "So calm down, all right? It will be fine."
Part of Remus was worried that Sev would have trouble with Lucius, but the lamia had seemed too caught up in other matters recently to pay attention to anyone. "I'll speak to Miss Nykol about this, all right?"

Severus nodded obediently. Now he just needed to calm down... His wrists and ankles needed a break anyway from the shackles holding him. All his struggling rubbed the skin raw.
"Thank you, Rem..." Severus said softly. He lowered his eyes slowly. "You were always there to take care of me.... Thank you.."

Smiling slightly, Remus pressed a kiss to Sev's forehead. "You don't need to thank me for that, Sev," he murmured. "I'll go speak to Miss Nykol-- rest for now, all right?" the werewolf gave his mate another of those gentle smiles before slipping outside.

Severus closed his eyes, purring lightly as he recieved the kiss. "I know.. I just want you to know I appreciate you.." He watched Remus leave, then laid his head back on the bed.
Maura Des looked at Remus, flicking his ears. "Do you want me to go with you, Momma?"

"Stay with Severus for now, please, Maura? Just... take care of him for me," Remus murmured, pressing a kiss to Maura's temple before heading towards Nykol's office.

Maura nodded and went into his mother's room...
Nykol had left the door to her office open, having the feeling that Remus would be coming back. "Come on in, sweetie," she said as he got to the door.

Bowing as he entered and shutting the door behind him, Remus gave Nykol a slight smile. "Miss Nykol... I think I've managed to calm him down. But... I was wondering if you might allow him and the boys to stay at the Nest for a short period of time until this blows over?" And let me speak to Fenrir without letting anyone know...

Nykol looked up at him, raising an eyebrow. "Do you think that's a good idea?" she asked, then thought about it for a moment. "As long as your Mistress doesn't mind, it's fine. I'm sure you'll be able to keep him under control better than I've been." She opened one of the drawers to her desk and tossed a key over to the werewolf. "Hecate's around somewhere... Probably in his room."

Nodding slightly, Remus bowed again. "And... Miss Nykol, would it be too much to ask to speak to Fenrir before we depart?

Nykol raised an eyebrow, looking at Remus. She knew of the history between the two werewolves, but... "If you can find him, then go ahead. But be careful, please."

Bowing to Nykol, Remus nodded before slipping out and searching for Fenrir-- he had to have a room or something, right?

Fenrir did have a room, far away from the others. But the grey werewolf wasn't in there. No, he'd caught Remus's scent and went into the hallway to look for him. He found the other werewolf alone and went up behind him, grabbing him by the tail. "Hello, Pet..."

Stiffening as his tail was grabbed, Remus slowly turned his gaze to fix upon the werewolf behind him. "...hello, Fenrir," he murmured quietly, carefully averting his eyes downwards in a show of submission.

Fenrir smirked and pulled the smaller wolf close, holding him by the base of his tail and his other arm around his waist. "Come to visit me?" he growled, leaning over and nipping the werewolf's neck. "How sweet... I knew you couldn't resist being away from your master for so long.."
