Ummm.... Why is my name on the list twice? Its 296 & 213 on the list on page 1.

That's becuase there are three Ref Board Petition threads out there and after a while Tolly and me(`Renton) update the lists by fusing the three threads lists into one, and then post them out into the world.. It's difficult to do when so many people have signed the petition, and then there are some that have signed more then once sweatdrop . At the moment we are trying to fix it.

Petitions are really sent to anyone. They exist in the petitions forum and they run until Gaia decides to do something with them. From what I've seen they won't even tell the people who start the petition that they will use the idea.
Some petitions that have been accepted have run into the thousands where the number of signatures is concerned and others have been done after only a few hundred. (a good example of that was the damascus armour)
I guess if we had a goal it would be 1000 signatures. It's a good goal but of course we're a long way off.
