Miranda let out a breath, still annoyed with herself for being so darn clumsy. She looked up when he offered his hands and she smiled sweetly, taking them. Once he helped her up, she swayed a little, now getting dizzy, but not too badly. She tried walking on her own, but just ended up stumbling and almost falling.

"Woah careful..." he said rushing to her side when she had walked away and almost fell again putting his arms out to balance her. "Here why don't I give you a ride on my back to the manner until your head feels better some..." he said to her still with a bit of concern in his voice, but then added with a chuckle, "Just don't play with my spines and we'll be alright..."

Miranda latched onto his arms when he caught her and she smiled gratefully. She would have nodded, but figured that would hurt too much right now. She blushed when he told her not to mess with the red spines on his neck, but she agreed not to....yea right!

"I'll make sure to get your basket to you later on I can't carry both at the same time..." He said chuckling again and then turned around and bent down so she could get onto his back.

Miranda smiled and nodded lightly. When he turned around and bent over, she slowly got on his back, giggling at the black saddle that seemed to be attached on his back and was tempted to sit on that and let him carry her around like that. But she hopped on his back, wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck, laying her chin on his shoulder.

Abaddon wrapped his arms around her legs so she wouldn't slip off of his back and stood up hiking her up slightly and then turned his head slightly towards hers, "Ready to go?" He said to her making sure everything was in order and that she was alright.

"Yea, I'm ready!" she says with a smile, kissing his cheek and 'absently' brushing her own cheek against one of his red spines.

Abaddon nodded and then turned and headed towards a wooded path that would start to send them towards the manner, making sure she was still firmly in place and wouldn't fall again. At the touch of her cheek to one of his spines it went rigid slightly and he let out a brief growl though it was filled with that of a rolling purr as well, focusing his concentration on where he was going and not dropping her.

Miranda smiled happily as she was carried, listening to his purr and purring back to him. Her tail swayed about behind her and she could feel the pain in her head slowly start to go away. She did make sure not to touch his spines, not wanting him to feel embarrassed.

Abaddon had finally reached a clearing about halfway between where they had been the night before and the manner, and found that it would probably be good to take a small break. Mainly because he wanted to check on her and make sure she was still alright. Walking over to a large rock he set her down carefully on it before sitting down next to her, "How's your head?"

She had kept her eyes closed for a few moments, but opened them again when he stopped and set her down. She touchs her bump and winces, the pain still there and she would need some ice for it soon, but at least the dizziness was gone, "It still hurts, but I can walk if I am too heavy." she says, attempting to stand up.

Abaddon quirked an eye brow at what she said and then laughed, "Your fine not too heavy at all I just wanted to make certain you're alright... we're about halfway to the manner now and I'm just concerned about you thats all..." He said and then kissed her on the cheek lightly.

Miranda giggled and blushed, rubbing the area of her cheek where he kissed her. "Well, I wouldn't mind riding piggy back the rest of the way, it's fun!!" she says, her tail swaying about happily.

"Then thats how it will be..." he said standing up. Then stepping in front of her with a goofy grin and a bow he said, "so shall we m'lady?" Then sitting in front of her so she could position herself on his back again.

Miranda giggled and poked at the black saddle, tempted to say something, but thought better of it. She wraps her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist again so she can hitch a ride on his back again.
