Sayeh blinked. Cassius was not like the other anthros she had encountered. Her violet eyes fell into a confusion. This however was becoming a daily feeling for her when she interacted with him. However, hearing his command to look, Sayeh turned her head to where he pointed and smiled brightly. It was truly a sight to behold.
The dancer came to whisper quietly. "A glimpse of hope from the garden of eden." Pressing her red lips together; she couldn't believe she had just spoke that aloud!
Her body shifted slowly to watch over Cassius' shoulder his drawing take shape. She seemed amazed that it would be so life-like and yet it was greatly Cassius' work. A reality she did not comprehend. She remained silent as she let him work as to not scare off the subjects.

After a few minutes, he finished it and slowly stood up, flexing his fingers. He slowly shifted his way over to a small bureau and slipped his fingers into a small hole in the side, before taking out a key. ''What did you mean...?'' The naga murmured softly to Sayeh as he twisted the key in the lock and opened the bureau. His fingers slipping down drawers in the front of it, he stopped at one. ''Yes...'' Cassius opened it and slipped inside the drawing, before closing it sharply, locking it, and putting the key back.
''Whenever you go out...Take a piece of paper and a pencil with you. Then, if you see something beautiful, you can draw it. Jut a quick, basic sketch. Do this for me please? And then show me what you have done.'' The naga asked quietly, turning back to her.

Hearing him question her quick statement, Sayeh blushed lightly. "Oh, well.." Her eyes fell and she spoke as if from a freestance poem. "From the garden of eden all can be seen. Animals and plants of all kinds. Peek quickly through the gates unto the scene. Something magical awaits."
Her tail swayed lightly as her violet eyes glanced up to Cassius upon hearing his command. "As you wish." She then bowed her body to him, swaying her arm across the stomach as if in a dramatic sense of presentation, long blue vails hanging around her losely. The feline then stood up fully once more to smile to him. "Will you eat with me?" Her hand gestured to the food he had set out for them to enjoy.

He nodded slowly, looking away from her blushing face. ''I see.'' The naga rubbed his pale throat slowly, before looking back to her. ''Do you know any other forms of that? It sounds like a poem. Am I correct?'' He watched her, his scarlet hues alert, but narrowed. His eyes were always like that. It was just what he did. For some reason, it gave him more confidence.
His eyes widened a little as she bowed then stood up smiling and gesturing. ''...'' Cassius' crimson hues flickered over the food and he nodded slowly, before picking up two stools and placing one for her to sit on, then sitting down himself on the other. ''Here.'' He picked up a plate and offered her some of the food on it, then leant back to open a cupboard of drinks. ''We have wine, water, and cordial. Which would you like? Or I can go to the kitchen and get you something.'' The naga waited for her answer as he poured himself a glass of spring water from a crystal bottle, tapping his tail on the floor.

Her eyes closed as memories came through her mind. "It was a song they would sing that the other girls and I would perform to. So yes, I do think it could be called a poem in spoken verse." She openned her eyes and smiled to Cassius.
His lack of speech had her concerned that she had done something wrong, and her smile faded while he was quiet. Had Sayeh gone too far? She was losing herself to old customs again. When he took a seat, Sayeh sat herself down on the chair that was provided and took the plate from him, picking out one of the sandwiches he had made. Smelled good whatever it was. She set it down on her plate, holding the plate of food in her hands. She would return it when he would ask for it with body or verbal language.
Her feline ears flicked lightly at all the choices. "May I request for some wine?" Her tail was limp, hanging from the chair and her legs were pinched together to try and keep her shortened skirt as descent as possible, with one hand holding the end over her lap. She hoped the table would hide things well enough for her.

''Here.'' A steady trickle of crimson wine flowed into the crystal glass. When the glass was almost full, he stopped and handed the glass carefully to the feline, the naga's eyes the exact hue of the wine. ''I hope it is to your liking.'' The words came slowly, with almost no emotion, as he turned back to the wine and poured his own drink. Seating himself, he looked at her as she tried to cover her legs. ''Hmph...'' Cassius stood and left the room.
Returning a moment later, he carried a think, faux fur robe, which was of a chestnut brown color. ''Here. It'll cover you, and the Tower is even colder today.'' The naga draped it carefully around Sayeh's shoulder, his cold fingers brushing against her skin as he let go of the robe and sat back down. Raising his glass, Cassius' eyes locked with Sayeh’s, and he murmured. ''To friends.''

Sayeh couldn't help but to blush at his kind jesture and she looked up at him with he ears flattened back. She did not understand his curtesy. He was always silently kind to her and she could not begin to comprehend what it was he wished from her, beyond the drawings.
As he left the robe to her shoulders, she noticed how cold his fingers were. She stared at his hands for a moment before wrapping the robe around herself, and her waist, now hiding away the skimpy skirt. She smiled as his gaze came to hers, and lifted her glass to him. "To friends." She seemed to beam with those words. A friend. She cherished these kind of things very deeply. She took a small sip of wine and licked her lips. "You have such nice wines here, Cassius." Her violet eyes turned to the sandwiches. "They smell very good. Did you make these?" a curious glance was thrown at him.

''Thank-you Sayeh. We make the wines ourselves, from the fruits behind the tower. There's large vineyard a mile away from here. It seemed to have been left for a while, much like this place.'' Cassius' eyes wandered around the room in which they were sat for a moment, before locking back to Sayeh. ''Yes, I made them. I have learnt much from my companions since I joined them here.''
The naga stretched out an arm and picked up one of the sandwiches, before taking a bite, and chewing it slowly. When he had swallowed it, he dropped it onto the plate, muttering. ''It needed more ingredients...Too plain...'' Cassius shook his head in annoyance at himself.

Sayeh looked shocked. "This wine is made here?! Oh wow, its fantastic! I thought it might have been imported with such a flavor!" She smiled brightly. "You are very talented, Cassius." Her violet eyes blinked at his disgust at the sandwich. So she picked up the breaded meal in her hand and took a bite. She ate it and smiled. "I think its very nice. Its more flavorful then what I can make for myself." And she continued to eat at the sandwich enjoying it. She was a simple feline and didn't need much.

Lifting a brow at her, he shrugged, and sipped his wine. ''I can make much better things than that. I am currently learning to prepare a fowl.'' Glancing at her, he asked, her quietly and slowly. ''Would you like to attend the feast I am holding tonight? It's fine if you don't. I just thought I'd ask since you seem to enjoy my food so much.''
The naga picked up the sandwich again and chewed one of the edges a little, waiting for her reply. He swallowed the rest of his wine, carefully studying the table to see what else he could fetch to make the small, meager lunch seem a little more worthwhile. ‘‘More Fruit...Perhaps some vegetables...'' Cassius pondered, while awaiting for her reply.

Sayeh gasped, her eyes going wide then shiny. "Really? I would be honored! I love your cooking and I love food! Oh thank you! Thank you so much!" Her tail waved happily behind her and he could hear a momentary purr from her before she took in a deep breath and calmed herself down. "I will make sure I am more presentable for tonight." Such a bright red smile came from her face.

He nodded, his scarlet eyes looking anywhere but Sayeh's own. The naga stood up and picked up the bottle of wine, re-filling his glass. ''Would you like some more Sayeh...? There will be plenty more flavors tonight.'' The scarlet liquid spilled into Sayeh's glass, filling it quickly. A few last drops fell out, then nothing. ''I apologize deeply Sayeh. We seem to have drunk all the wine. Would you like me to fetch another?'' Cassius growled, putting the bottle into the bin.

"I will truly look foreward to tonight then." Sayeh watched him carefully. His demeanor seemed to change to her. When he filled her glass, she smiled to him sweetly. "This is more then plenty, thank you Cassius. Unless that is you want more? If so, I could go bring some up for you?" Sayeh took a drink from her glass before rising, with the long faux fur robe being clung tightly to her figure, long blue hair spilling beneath it as she stood up. She had no idea what changed his demeanor so, but the last thing she wanted was to be a burden to him by troubling him with things like wine.

''I do not mind. But I do not wish you to get it. For you are my guest, therefore I shall fetch things for you.'' He stared at her, his eyes looking blank and cold, as the naga slowly moved towards the door to fetch some more wine. Before he went to the cellar to fetch some more drink, Cassius went to his room to fetch his own fur robe. Wrapping it around himself, he tied it together and then headed to the cellar, where the wines were kept.
In the dusty, dark cellar he held a candle to the wines, reading their labels. 'Ahah...'' The naga pulled gently at a bottle, and it came out. He blew the dust from the dark bottle and read its label carefully. ''Hmph...I wonder...'' He purred a few drops into the glasses they kept in a cabinet in the basement, and tasted it carefully. It was good. The age had matured it, making it taste better. Smiling with satisfaction, Cassius left the cellar. A minute later, he opened the door where Sayeh sat, and put the wine on the table carefully, ready for when either of them decided they wanted it.

The feline seemed curious as she watched him leave her alone once more. She came to sit back down on the stool and her violet eyes stared down at the wine. It still did not make sense to her why he was doing things for her or being so nice and this was begining to to drive her crazy. She hated to not understand. It made her feel stupid.
Her hand lifted the glass to her lips, and she swung back all that remained in the glass. 'Just keep calm' she reminded herself. 'You will understand with patience and time.' She turned her head almost in surprise as Cassius returned and placed the wine on the table once more.
"May.. I ask you a question, Cassius?"
