As Kayako hit the ground, her instincts came into play and she reacted, rolling backwards and kicking off Daia, meanwhile doing a summer-sault to land on her feet. She couldn't see Rain.

Focusing on her target, Kayako grabbed a peice of wire from the wall and attacked again, dodging past Daia and grabbing her hands, forcing them behind her back. There, she quickly tied the wire in a knot, then shoved her to the ground with her foot, seeing another of the squad spot her.

(((ur up!)))

As soon as Kayako felt hands on her neck she jumped back to action. Grabbing the girl's wrists with her hands, she jumped in the air and kicked with both her feet, connecting with the enemy's stomach and sending her flying like the rest straight into the door on the other side of the room, where her head smacked down hard on the handle.

'That's two down....'

Keria moved in on Rain and her eyes were cold. "What are you going to do when the guards come in Rain?" the words were cold and calculated.
Slowly she moved towards her and with a quick motion she reached out and punched Rain in the throat.

At the same time Daia's screaming grew to ear splitting levels and the wire snapped off her wrists. Blood was running down them. As she swung at kayako the distance between them was to far and the blood splattered on Kayako's purple hair and face. A second swing connected with her cheek. It was loud and painful but not enough to take her down.

"How dare you. How dare you!" She screamed and swung again.

Near the desk the nurse shook her head and pushed a button near the computer screen.

Deep in the building an old man sat in a chair. Professor Xellien stood close by and they sized each other up.

"You'll not be taking him right away Xellien. I still have a question I wish to hear answered. No amount of theories will ever equal the words from the subjects own lips."

Before the professor could respond a low beep began to sound from the robes of Decard's cloak. He sighed and pulled out a small radio. "Yes, what is it." he said

"Sir, I apologize for disturbing you, however you said for me to notify you if there was trouble with the new one." it was the voice of the nurse and Decard could tell she was bothered by something.

"And what has our little Kayako done, Marcius?" the old man responded.

"A fight has broken out in the school. Sir, she's beating up the... the Aghea children."

Decard looked up in thought. A smile spread on his lips. "Oh, my nephew will not be pleased to hear about that."

Hitting the response button he continued,"Marcius, have the guards break up the fight and..."

"Founder Novak.." Xellien interrupted, "I'm afraid I'll have to intervene as well. I don't know who these Aghea children are, however you should probably let it play out. This is exactly the type of scenario we need in order to activate the drive. I would recommend sending in more opponent for her and let her anger feed the inverse. Soon, she will relent to it's nature."

After a few moments Decard nodded,"Very well. Nurse Marcius. Tell the other children to help the Aghea Squad. Tell them that Dewey has ordered it and that he will reward the one who takes her down."

"Sir?" Marcius responded.

"That is an order my dear." he said calmly.

"Yes, sir."

As the fight ragged on the nurse hung up the receiver she had been talking into and looked over the room. "Students." she began,"You're friends are being attacked. Colonial Deweys has spoken with me. You are to consider these your enemies. Restrain the girls and don't let them continue this madness. Dewey has said he will reward the one who is most effective.

All the kids listened to this and there eyes lit up at the sound of there hero's name. Turning to Kayako and Rain they're little faces seemed to change. The triplets wasted no time in going after Kayako, they circled her and acted as a single mind.

Three boys ran for Rain and one jumped at her while the others came up from opposite sides.

Only Aiken seemed unsure of what to do. He stood motionless and watched.

Once the pressure lifted Kayako sprang up and dodged to the left. Rain was in a fury, and no longer needed and encouragment from her to have her way. Kayako was ready to attack the next person who came at her now-

thump

She stopped.

This wasn't the same pulse as before. No, not in the least. This one was different, but she could recognize it well enough.

'He's here.....'

At that, her whole attitude changed. She didn't have time for this. That man was here, and he was close. It didn't take a genius to connect the dots. He'd planned this, he was trying to trick her again, make her do something for him that would work to his benefit.

Her mind clicked on. Someone else charged forward, she wasn't sure who. She swung back, ran at them full force and connected with their chest as she had before, shooting them backwards. The light from her hands was stronger now, strong enough that someone standing close by could see. She held back as best she could, but she needed to get to that hallway. It was her only chance and getting to that b*****d Xellien, and to Gray.

((Ooh ho ho!! That gritch is gonna get it now! razz ))

Rain's head twisted in the direction it was hit. She just kept it there for a while, her face not seen by Daia. After a few moments, she turned it slowly. She stared at Daia with a raging feroicity. "You're going to pay for all you put me through," she threatened in a menacing voice.

She jumped into the air and came down on Daia. She sat on top of her and began to beat her, one fist at a time. She grabbed her shoulders and knocked her against the floor. She got up and turned her onto her front and resumed her previous position of sitting on her. She reached her finger into the corner of her mouth and began to tug as hard as she could. Blood from her nose and lip began to drip onto Daia.

(( Hey, Xellien's not a kustard. ))

"Good, then I'll continue with this project. The Inverse Drive is highly classified... even for you, Decard." Xellien lowered his head politely before leaving the room.

"Make sure there are no conversations initiated on the subject of the Inverse Drive, or the reverse impulse emitter." He wisped out of his lips as he passed the two U.F. guards.

Xellien continued down the hall until he left the building itself and emerged outside. A long concrete walkway stretched all the way to a medium sized shuttle.

"Professor Xellien... where is the test?" A man wearing a white lab coat called from the craft. Xellien waved his hand.

"No need, this is the perfect time to activate the plan. The guards no what to look for. There are only two people who wont be suspecting this that I worry about... Gray and Decard. I'm worried that Gray wont react as planned... I only hope he'll calm down before... well... I'm sure you understand." He stopped and turned around, carefully scanning the building he had just left behind.

"Curious though, Decard might react in any way. Doesn't matter..." He turned back around and stepped into the shuttle, "Now is time to test the new program."

"How do you like it?!" Rain yelled when she was still on Daia. "How do you like it!!?" When she was thrown off, she tried to fight whoever it was that was restraining her. "Get off of me!" she yelled. "I need to teach that slime a lesson!"

Rain sat up after Aiken was knocked away. She tried to make her way to Daia again, but was also knocked away by the force of the energy. She sat up against the wall and wiped the blood off her face. Rage was still in her eyes, but she was beginning to calm down.
