Crim` looked upward to the same spot that Kata pointed at. "Heh, maybe he was right... Still, that doesn't change the fact that we don't know how to get rid of the thing. This thing seems to have been here for quite a while anyway, I doubt it'll burrow that deep while we're gone for a day or so at Aekea. Your call though, if you think it's a big threat then we can try and deal with it now."

"Or maybe Se-vens will deal with his own messes when he decides to get his a** out of bed." She added.

Crim` began walking toward the stairs away from the puddle, yawning as his boots crushed the loose rubble that lay scattered about the floor. "Alright. I'm gonna go take a nap in my room, I'm still feeling pretty drained." he said, yawning. "My back hurts, my sides hurts and my head hurts. Got any painkillers?"

"I cause pain, I don't cure it." Kat said, walking back to the stairs as well. "You probably want to try the medical center for painkillers."
"Come find me when you want to go then." She said, starting down the stairs. "I'll probably be in my room."

Crim` nodded in reply to the orange-haired catgirl and with that he was off to his own room the way the two had come. He soon pushed open his door, noticing a creak.
"Pffsh, like I'm gonna oil that."
The man knocked the pile of random garments from the top of his bed and tossed his jacket toward the chair near a small desk, though he missed, accidentally knocking over a small cup filled with pennies.
"Grr."
After kicking off his boots the man crawled into bed and within mere moments he was in dreamland.

Wandering back down the stairs, Kat looked up at the ceiling, mentally plotting out where the puddle had been. She began walking down the halls of the second floor, pacing out the distance to it's position.
Her sense of distance had never been that great, but within a minute or two, she arrived at where she thought the puddle was. Or at least, as close as she could get. The puddle, to her best guess, was in fact directly above Mooo's room. As Se-vens has predicted.
Kat stared at Moo's door and scratched her head in confusion. On a whim, she tried the doorknob. Locked, but the door itself couldn't be that strong. Certainly nothing that the machine in the woods couldn't have taken out, and if it could get upstairs there was nothing preventing it from reaching this floor. As proven earlier, the whole building could afford a bit of a security upgrade.
She turned and headed back to her own room, wondering who had been in the room directly above Mooo. Hadn't it been Kitsune? That might explain the first explosion then. She was certain that something in Kitsune's room had to be explosive.
Reaching her own room, she flopped onto her bed and pulled a small notebook out of her bra. She scratched down a couple notes, then lay on her bed staring at the ceiling. She considered sleeping, but realized she was still too annoyed over the assassin earlier to sleep. Instead, she just lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling and flicking a lighter from her bedside table repeatedly.

Several hours later Crim` woke up. He sat up, got out of bed, took a shower, got dressed, brushed his teeth, tied his hair back and walked out into the hall.
"Now... Which one was Kata's room?"

Seven stretched out and yawned. He jumped up to his feet and cracked his neck from one side to the other. He was awake, he just had no idea what he should be doing.
He would head out into the hallway, into the main entryway, and up two flights of stairs. He began pacing, counting the steps it took to get to the puddle.

Suddenly Crimsonius Skylickererius' eyes caught something in the periph! Indeed, a door! What ask you is the signifigance of such an item in a hallway full of them? Well, I'll answer this my much appreciated reader, this door was different!
Different!
It was open.
SLIGHTLY.
Crim` walked to it and upon closer inspection he verified that it was indeed open!
He poked at it a bit, his index finger jabbing at the door as if it owed him money.
Opened doors are mostly almost always best some of the time unless they should be closed.
He pushed it a bit. Perhaps he should've knocked? Perhaps that perverted little specter on his shoulder was hoping he'd catch a glimpse of a partially indecent catgirl? Perhaps he just didn't think to knock? Either way, yeah, that's what he did. Opened it. That is... Then he peeked his head in. Shifty eyes peered about from behind the few strands of wavy light magenta hair that had fallen before his optics as he tilted his head forward. Ah! There she was! He saw a mess of orange hair and a couple twitching catears and knew, he just knew, he had indeed found the right room.
"..."
It'd be creepy just to stare.
"Oi?" he said. What did this 'Oi' mean? Whoknows. What is known is that it was one of those noises just audible enough for her to hear, what with her enhanced feline hearing and all. Infact, it was one of those sounds that 90% of the time would get the inquisitive response of "What?" from almost anyone, especially if used as a conversation opener.

Kat's ear's twitched at the sound of the "Oi" and she propped herself up on one elbow and looked at the head of pink hair poking into her doorway. Generally, the sound of someone walking down the hall would have been noticed, but she had been quite intently staring at a spot on her ceiling, and hadn't thought that the footsteps in the hall would be from someone important to her.
"Allo!" She slid into a sitting position on her bed, "Come in if you want. I was starting to wonder where you were."
She gestured about her room, which while cleaner than Crim's room, was surprisingly devoid of surfaces to sit on. A single chair was covered with coats of all sizes, and while there was liitle on the floor, every other surface was covered in small knick-knacks and various junk. Most of it was shiny, sparkly, or held some other interesting quality that made Kat less than willing to dispose of it. Generally, her attempts to clean her room ended with her spending several hours staring at a strand of tinsel from 2 years ago, or her braiding twist ties, or some other mindless task which ended with her room being no cleaner than when she started. The end result was her simply pushing around useless items and believing her room was significantly messier than it seemed at a casual glance.

Crim` walked in and almost immediately stumbled on one of the many random items strewn about Kata's floor.
He tried to act as if it didn't happen. Smooth.
"Nice room." he said after clearing his throat, smiling a bit. In a few moments he, this time, would carefully walk to her bed. He sat at the foot of it, slumped and with his back to her. "I'm feeling better now. If you're still up for the trip to Aekea then we can leave when you're ready. My bike's outside though I don't know if you're too keen on motorcycles so we can take something else if you want..."

"Motorcycle sounds fine." Kat replied. She'd never actually been on one before, and the experience sounded interesting. That, and her driving scared almost everyone, including herself, so she preferred other people driving.
Standing up, she grabbed a jacket of her chair and slipped on her shoes from where she'd kicked them off earlier.
"Well, I'm good to go then." She said.

"AHALBAGLAR!!"
Clatter and noise and inarticulate babbling! T'was the audible indication of life in the Kitsune Ninja's room as Miyoshi breaks in via the window. It's been forever since she's set foot into the infamous 0wnage Headquarters and, for no real reason, she felt like visiting her old pals.
Hence, the break-in... 'cuz... breaking in her own room was the best thing to do aside from simply walking in through the front door... but all that security isn't exactly welcoming. Plus, her window had less security than the front door; simply the usual traps and whatnot Miyoshi had left behind in case of an intruder.
... HENCE... the noise! It's easy to disable one's own traps, but to make it a silent disable? Well, Miyoshi was far too lazy to tone down the ruckus so it was easier to let the giant stone suspended within the ceiling to plummet down and crash onto the floor and watch the large bladed pendulums swing safely to a stop. Oh, and not to mention wrestling with the irate wolverine back into its spring-loaded cage which probably made up the majority of the noise and inarticulate babbling.
Wiping the wolverine saliva from her hands, Miyoshi straightened and glanced around in her rooms... Doesn't the HQ have a maid? Why the Hell is everything dusty? Oh, wait... The traps would've been enough to deter any visitor, really... Crim' Skylicker should know best as Miyoshi fondly recalled the time he sprung one of her most classic traps and encountered a face full of vase and log. Vase = Shattering of glass. Log = Shattering of... face. Ahh, fun times!

A twitch of ear.
"What the hell was that noise?" asked Crim` after a moment as his eyes shifted in the direction it came from. Suddenly, his eyes would widen and he'd stand, a look of FEAR draped across his face. "Could it be... Her?" asked Crim`, a question which seemed directed at himself more than anything. He turned to Kata, a reluctant smile on his face. "Uh yeah, let's uh... Go. Aekea... Yeah!" he seemed to whoosh to the door and peered around the corner of Kat's door. Clear. No ninja fox in sight. No impending kunai in the face. If there's anyone he didn't feel like dealing with now, it was her. Though their usual trading of blows was always fun, they always seemed to leave him sore and as of right now due to what had happened in the past days he was quite sore enough.
He speed walked to the end of the hallway and to the elevator and waited at it after pressing the button what seemed like a few dozen times. Ping ping ping ping... Why were the pings so loud? Why does this damned elevator take so long just when you need it?
